"Yes, Mr. Greevs."

Ivan returned to his office. The second he pushed the door open, he saw a nervous Ashley waiting for him. Stormfront stood beside her, looking calm on the surface but burning with rage underneath.

"What gives you the right to lock my Vought account? Even Edgar wouldn’t dare do that!" Stormfront had tried to go live and promote herself using her Vought account, only to get hit with a violation notice mid-stream. Her broadcast got shut down instantly.

She’d stormed over to Ashley and learned that only Ivan and Edgar had that kind of authority.

Obviously, she knew exactly which French frog was behind it.

"Your publicity plan goes through me. Got a problem with that?" Ivan asked casually as he walked over to the coffee machine and poured himself a cup.

"You’re fucking dead!"

Stormfront marched right up to him. Electricity crackled around her as strong winds slammed against the office windows. Back when she fought in World War II, she had never been humiliated like this. And now some inferior Frenchie dared to challenge her.

The tension in the room grew thick. Ashley, sweating bullets, quickly stepped between them to try and calm things down.

"Mr. Greevs, Miss Stormfront, this must be some kind of technical glitch on Vought’s end. It’s happened before—" Ashley didn’t get to finish.

"It’s not a glitch," Ivan said, setting his coffee down. He looked at Stormfront with cold eyes. "Sorry. I did it on purpose."

His electromagnetic senses now covered the entire Vought Tower. That meant he could track the movements of every supe inside the building — including Homelander.

"Hahaha, Greevs, don’t bully the new girl. She just got here. It’s normal she doesn’t know Vought’s rules yet," Homelander said, appearing at the office door right on cue. He pushed it open and walked in.

Stormfront had joined The Seven without his approval — basically Edgar’s planted pawn. On top of that, she hadn’t bothered to visit him once. It was a direct challenge to his authority as leader.

So seeing the two of them at each other’s throats put him in a fantastic mood.

"Hey, Homelander. You’re my grandma’s favorite idol."

Hearing Stormfront’s compliment, Homelander thought she was submitting to him. He turned to Ivan and said, "The new member seems pretty good. Sometimes showing a little tolerance for other people’s mistakes is a virtue."

Ivan smiled. It was hard to imagine that this woman who looked so young was actually over seventy years old.

"No way. If we count from World War II, your grandma would have to be pushing two hundred by now," Ivan said. At his level, he had full access to Stormfront’s real files.

Of course, Homelander had access too.

"You investigated me." Women hate having their age brought up, and Stormfront was no exception. Her face turned extremely ugly as she stared at Ivan with pure killing intent.

"You’re Liberty."

"Go ahead and try. By the way, I have pretty good relationships with those shareholders. It might not affect me at all." Ivan’s "good relationships" naturally referred to the blackmail material he held. And if those shareholders didn’t behave, he wouldn’t mind transferring their shares to someone else.

Don’t doubt it — with his blood manipulation, Ivan could make that happen easily.

Stormfront’s eyes narrowed. This guy was like a damn porcupine; she couldn’t find a good spot to strike. Whatever. She couldn’t let this conflict ruin her plans. She needed Vought right now just as much as Vought needed her.

"Fine. I apologize. I was out of line earlier. I hope you can forgive me." Stormfront extended her left hand while already plotting how to make Ivan have a convenient "accident."

"Since you’ve apologized, how could I not forgive a beautiful lady?" Ivan replied with perfect gentlemanly charm as he shook her hand, sealing a temporary truce on the surface.

If it weren’t for the fact that he wanted to analyze her powers, he would have made sure she didn’t live to see tomorrow.

"Welcome to Vought."

And just like that, the two people each hiding their own schemes reached a temporary ceasefire.

Seeing this, Ashley let out a huge sigh of relief.

"Interested in having a little chat with me?" Homelander’s eyes toward Stormfront carried a subtle new glint.

"Sorry, I’ve got things to do."

Stormfront shut him down flat, leaving him standing there awkwardly.

The group stared at each other. Suddenly they all spoke at once: "Susan."

Hughie and the others thought of CIA Deputy Director Susan. After all, she owed them one because of the Compound V situation. If she hadn’t promised to protect them back then, Butcher never would’ve handed over the evidence.

The factory sat on top of a mountain. Frenchie peered down through binoculars. "Only one car. Looks like she’s alone."

"I heard you’ve got new evidence." After stepping out of the car, Susan rubbed her temples. She looked noticeably more worn out than before. "Do you think Butcher really blew up Madeline?"

"He’s a bastard, but... I don’t know. He was completely lost in his revenge." Mother’s Milk hesitated, then shook his head. "I just hope it wasn’t him."
