Spirit Taming

Nothing made sense to Joker as the one he had just made a toy for entertain had resisted the madness that should have overtaken him. Even the soul mutation potion had been a joke when it came to power. Just a temporary usage that would create a more brutal monster. One that Joker could have later used for further servitude.

All that purifying, all that work to have such a potion, and there they were, completely fine! It was outrageous. But as Joker tried to lash out and force an explanation, existence itself put pressure on him.

The rules that governed the greatest and most powerful races were there for a reason. Existence had created them through various means, they had developed and taken certain powers for themselves. As such, came the balance that existence needed. Therefore, the drawbacks of those powers became shackles.

The demons could not enter other worlds without contracts and promises. They had to trade something to do so, after that, they would be able to do as they wished. But that was all harder to do than what a demon would expect. The race of that world had to accept them in to it, they had to know that some chance of the demon coming there would exist within that contract.

The angels had a similar issue, they could not enter a world where faith in them was non existent. Therefore, they needed to grow and spread that faith through various means. Mostly through upstanding and pure means. If they failed, they would find themselves commonly blocked from that world.

Hence how the demon race and the angel race clashed. One needed more twisted methods of manipulation. Another used pure methods of faith. They didn’t mix well when targeting the same world.

Otherwise, other races had similar stances when it came to their power and how they expanded. Not that anyone would speak on them since they were off doing other things. They didn’t come to worlds like this where three weaker races fight together. Still an interesting event.

"You have ruined my plans!" Alistar growled out in rage as he saw that Joker was still bound to just watch as his contract had said. Now that the pans were ruined and an actual enemy was there, he had nothing but rage and hatred.

"You said this was just one of your bodies. Then that means one day I will be killing your real body. You should find that as an honor since you should just be executed for the evil you raised." The glare from Clark carried much more than it had before. However, Alistar found himself frozen in place.

The depths of his being had just shivered with that look. Like a force of unrivaled power had just opened an eyes to mock him. That enraged Alisar. He had never been looked down on by another race like that. Only the truly powerful demons had managed to look at him like that and he had no way to resist. Why would he feel the same here?! 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

"Crimson, come and be my defender."

The burst of draconic energy made the entire area feel dense. Crim could sense the unique energies flowing from Clark. Soul energy surpassing what he had before. Deanse death energy that gave him the ability to combat those that resisted his will. And yet, another energy flowed through. One more akin to the celestial energy that made Crim change in to a celestial slime dragon. It made Crim feel ten times more powerful.

The armor form changed, instead of a streamlined armor made for battle it was altering itself to the increased energies provided by Clark’s altered body and soul. The slight shimmering stars within the deep crimson color had become brighter. Like galaxies spinning within the dense dragon energy armor. More refined to be exactly what Clark needed.

A spark of light became brighter, the red lighting that moved around the armor felt as if it was more than just lighting. An unobtainable divide spar that made Crimson feel empowered.

"Shayama, bring me strength. Become my shadow."

Another burst of intense shadow and darkness energy radiated through the area further oppressing Alistar. Clark sensed the shadow threads leaving his shadow and Shy took the shadow as her dwelling. Multiple spider legs reached out made of shadows. Each holding thousands of shadow threads which Shy would have been unable to wield before.

The power she received through her bond with Clark had deepend on her understanding of what shadows and darkness were. So much so that she was touching upon the legitimate rules of those energies. How they interacted. How they flowed. How they could be used to both control an enemy, and boost those fighting beside them.

The shadows threads that wrapped Clark were feeding him dense shadow energy. Allowing him to feel lighter while still maintaining his power. His entire being was radiating a greater force than what he had been radiating before.

"For the crimes committed and entering this world, I sentence you to death." Brutal energy fell all around Clark and focused on Alistar. The lunar storm spear radiated with death mana while small sparks of red lighting arced off causing the ground to become charred with mysterious energies.

"You are just a weak worm! I will kill you and make your entire world in to a wasteland!" all the insults and the pressure had forced Alistar to rc at. He whipped his wings in to a flurry of demonic energy blades slashing at Clark. But as Clark waved his spear nonchalantly, the demonic energy dissipated. It was like he just knocked away a weak cloud of dust.

"Arrrggggg! You damn worthinss-" the rage filled and unintelligible words from Alistar were broken as Clark appeared in front of him with just a step. The united strength that he wielded was nothing to laugh at. Crim and only flipped the wings of his armor form once to get close to the demon they were fighting.

Shadows threads wrapped the lunar storm spear as Clark stabbed forward. The pressure increased as a film of demonic energy appeared to defend Alistar. Yet, in the next second, it cracked and forced Alistar to hurtle in to the ground. Various bits of stone cutting in to his body.

None of this should have happened. None of that should have been enough to even harm him. Yet, he was being weakened. He was being beaten. "Impossible!"

Demonic energy flooded from Alistars’ body. His form grew larger and he enhanced his physic. He lost the ability to fly with the muscle weight, but he became even more violent and full of madness. This was a berserk demon form that would use their strongest power. The demon blades were impossible now. All the demonic energy has been condensed in to a form that could be used to fight face to face.

Every demon was different when it came to their berserk forms. But demons that used physical force would be some of the more dangerous. They would ignore injuries and push ahead. Even as their bodies broke down under their own incense demonic energy being condensed. It was the same as any other strain due to energy being overused.

"It won’t work." as the madness infused figure tried to punch out at Clark, he narrowly avoided it by leaning backwards. His hand reached out to catch the pinch. In a smooth move, Clark flipped the demon over and pierced downwards with his spear. The arm was cut off entirely and began to dissipate intense demonic energies. Nothing was containing the energy now that it was separated.

Another rage filled roar showed how much Clark had damaged his enemy. "How can this be? That’s not a human nor is it a beast I know. That’s not even a monster. That’s a new damn race!" Joker felt fear through this instance. Something he had attempted had failed at a grand scale above his power. So far above his power that he wasn’t sure that he would survive fighting this thing in the future.

"Goodbye." Clark didn’t hesitate to stab out again. This time though, the spear penetrated the demon’s chest. Leaving a gaping hole where his heart had been. In a slight twist, Clark released a lot more mixed energies. As a result, the energies traced back through the bonds controlling this extra body.

Many worlds away, Alisar’s main body shrouded in demonic energy cracked slightly. Just enough to drip blood down. True demon blood down on to the ground. His rage would only grow with a new permanent scar being engraved on his true body.

"You will never come here Joker. Never approach this world. Never venture here. And As i grow, I will raise others. Beware of the divine race. Those that carry the will of existence. We are your inquisitors. Your police. Your guards. We will pursue the evil that should not be when order and balance are broken." In a burst of energy, Joker was forced away. He had seen the end of the contract. He could not remain here. Only Clark remained now. Standing in a land of ruin after his battle.
