Waking up was not a simple matter. Clark found himself still next to Maria. But he also found himself next to the entirety of his group.

They had managed to set up bed rolls right out in the open. Right in the center of the Mourne family training grounds where Clark had dealt with the very person responsible for the death of his family.

The feeling was not at all what he expected. Instead of a full feeling that should have taken over the empty space where his love for his parents had existed, it remained empty. Hollow.

It wasn’t that there was a negative feeling because he ahd completed his revenge. Instead, it was an empty feeling left behind by losing the main focus of what he ahd set out to do. He ahd wanted to defeat the one that caused him all this pain. That sparked his rage.

Now, he wasn’t sure what else to do.

Yes, he was planning on cleaning up Nova City and beginning to regrow it. Turn it in to the place that it should be. The place where all could come and grow as they desired.

Information could be available to anyone willing to work hard for it. The chance to grow equally offered to anyone from any standing. Whether they ahd the richest family or the poorest lack of family, they would have the opportunities that all others had.

That was a simple and clear desire. It was also what every guard from the Mane family had begun to preach. They were offering up all that they ahd. It truly showed off how much the Mane family had planned. Clark even felt a little embarrassed that he had been too blinded by his own anger to see the depths of the Mane family’s goals.

It took a lot for someone to hold their tongue for years and years just to properly prepare to change a city. The pieces that they had to collect before the puzzle was complete had been innumerable. Especially seeing that they ahd found a group of geniuses that had come together as if fate had handled it for them.

All of that was miraculous to say the least. Yet, there was also a lot to handle on the flip side of all this.

The blood moon cult’s connections to this place was proof that they had ong infiltrated MNova City. It was already being discovered within the Mourne family mansion just how many materials had been stolen away and sent there.

Clark had heard the shouts which made him wake up temporarily through the night. The anger as the word of the Mpourne family’s empty vault spread throughout the city. Of how they had even betrayed humanity for the chance to become powerful monsters.

A few of the guards had been captured before they became monsters. They had been relieved of their lives but had left behind the vial of blood from an unknown beast. Clark wanted to get up and see it, but his sore body told him he could not.

He looked at Maria and the others. She had fallen asleep holding his arm, she still held it even now. Even when Lit exhausted herself healing all of them from their various injuries. But Lit had been a beacon to the white robed healers who arrived and took over checking their wounds. So, that had been a blessing before Lit made herself return to Maria’s taming space.

’Major quest- Blood Moon Corruption

The blood moon cult has long infiltrated Nova City. Their goals to use the city as a source of strength for later battles clear. Now that they are exposed, their cultists are massacuring the innocent and destroying everything.

Requirement: defeat the newly created monster in front of you.

Reward: one pure dragon crystal, one pure shadow crystal, one pure death crystal, one ultra rare weapon gacha ticket, one hidden gacha ticket.

Group bonus: Due to the close bonds of the group the user is associated with, rewards will be given to them in conclusion of defeating monsters within the city. Rewards will be based on small enlightenment within their respective focuses.’

Checking the system, Clark was impressed about the rewards yet again. The entire group was gaining things while they slept. While they received the rest that they earned.

’The ultra rare weapon gacha is spinning...’

Clark held his breath watching the system react. He was wondering just what could possibly appear.

’It has been detected that the reward requires a base to be created. The black lighting spear is being deconstructed.’

Sensing the black lighting spear disappearing from the spatial ring shocked Clark. But he also saw something appearing within the air in front of him. If the others had been awake, they would be shocked, but right now, Clark could only reach out a hand and grasp it.

The lunar cloud dust is from the destruction of a moon. When destroyed, a moon may collapse or drift through the endless space of existence. It gathers unique energies that only those capable of channeling them will be able to even sense.

Even the aura of the spear that formed in front of him made his entire body shover. He could sense that this was a weapon that required extreme respect. That it wielded the energies of more than what he could comprehend.

Due to the usage of the lunar dragon spear, the black lighting spear, and the lunar cloud dust, this spear was formed by the great will of existence.

Myriad of energies can be channeled through this. However, it boasts the strongest when using energies that create storms. Such energies can even create storms between moons as they collide. Completely altering the world.

The wielder must grow to understand this weapon. Must grow to be able to tap in to the full potential. Each movement will exact a toll if the wielder is not respectful in honoring what their and this spear’s power means.

The requirements to wield this are, the flowing storms meditation technique, wielding various energies through bonds, including death energy, and the matching lunar related spear technique.

Using this spear will cause changes in how energy flows through the body and even alter the technique used with it. Beyond this, it acts as a catalyst to strengthen beasts through binds with the tamer.

Furthermore, this spear has the ability to channel and release built up energies that the beasts and tamer store within it. Multiple effects will follow from this. They will differ based on the energies given.

Things ended as Clark failed to be able to comprehend anything else. However, he could sense it. The energies altering through his body. His words were simple. But it was very clear that he was trying to keep her from worrying. "So you only act nice to me when no one else can see it? Fine. but when you fix those hands of yours, we are sparring. I have some new techniques to try out." Clark felt himself being renewed.

He didn’t have to worry about the empty pain inside him. He could fill that space with his family right here. He also knew well what they needed to do.
