Reborn with Nothing but My Farm and Vengeance in the Apocalypse

These two structures, much like The Arcadian Ranch and The Arcadian Warehouse before them, had materialized out of thin air right after the system’s notification sounded. It was simply magical.

Melody Summers found one of the rectangular structures to be very familiar. She thought for a moment and recalled seeing something similar on TV before—an Underwater Oil Rig!

Next to the Underwater Oil Rig, a square, white platform had appeared. From a distance, a ship-shaped building stood upon it.

Melody’s heart began to race at the sight—

’An Offshore Oil Field?!’

’The Odyssey Station?!’

She quickly dropped the scallops in her hands, ran back along the pier, and climbed aboard her yacht.

She then piloted the yacht all the way to the front of the Underwater Oil Rig.

The Underwater Oil Rig was like a steel behemoth, supported by countless thick steel pillars rooted firmly in the seabed. It blended seamlessly with the surrounding ocean, as if it had grown from the depths itself.

The platform was fully equipped with all sorts of facilities. Enormous oil tanks, towering drilling derricks, and a complex web of pipelines intertwined to form a magnificent industrial tableau.

"How incredible..."

Melody marveled, tilting her head back. This was far more breathtaking than anything she had ever seen on television!

She had always thought the rigs on TV looked like small little things, but the real one was so immense!

Just then, the system’s voice sounded again—

[The "Offshore Oil Field" area is equipped with professional machinery responsible for extracting petroleum energy from the seabed.]

[The extracted petroleum undergoes refining processes such as crude oil distillation, catalytic cracking, thermal cracking, and hydrocracking to produce various fuel products, including gasoline and diesel.]

Seeing the machinery of the Underwater Oil Rig begin to RUMBLE to life, Melody steered her yacht toward the square, white platform nearby.

This white platform had to be the "Odyssey Station" the system had mentioned.

Compared to the massive and majestic oil rig, the Odyssey Station seemed delicate and small.

The entire Odyssey Station was composed of two parts: the platform and the building on top of it.

From a distance, it looked like a model ship placed on a white marble tabletop.

This white marble platform was about half the size of a soccer field. Its surface was as smooth as a mirror, glinting and sparkling as it reflected the sunlight. The edges of the platform were smooth and even, as if they had been meticulously polished.

The ship-shaped building resting on the white marble platform reminded Melody of The Valerius Opera House, which she had seen in textbooks before.

Melody moored her yacht at the pier in front of the Odyssey Station, then hopped off and set foot on the white platform.

Waves lapped against the platform’s edge from time to time, sending up sprays of white foam.

Melody crossed the white platform and walked to the entrance of the ship-shaped building. She studied the wave-like patterns on the exterior walls as she stepped inside.

The interior of the ship-shaped building was vast. Stepping inside, Melody felt as if she were in the enormous hold of a ship.

The ceiling inside soared high above, with massive white stone pillars supporting the entire space. Sunlight streamed through stained-glass windows, casting multicolored patterns of light.

The surrounding walls were adorned with various exquisite murals and carvings, all themed around the sky and the sea, vividly depicting their magnificent scenery.

The building was spacious and quiet. Cradling Albus, Melody explored up and down, investigating every corner of the ship-shaped structure.

The entire building was divided into five floors.

The top floor was a terrace garden, planted with flowers and plants Melody had never seen before.

The second through fourth floors were divided into multiple areas, including a living room, a dining room, and bedrooms. Each room was warmly and comfortably furnished, feeling very lived-in, like a hotel where you could move in at a moment’s notice.

Melody moved in and out of the various rooms, gazing at the boundless ocean outside the windows. For a moment, she couldn’t tell if she was on a ship or in a marine-themed amusement park.

After exploring the upper floors, she returned to the first-floor lobby.

The first-floor lobby was relatively empty compared to the floors above. On the right side of the lobby was a rectangular, table-like platform.

Melody walked closer and saw that the platform had a very unique design.

The entire platform was forged from metal, with a smooth, gleaming surface. It was fitted with various devices and instruments, all arranged tightly together to form a complex and precise system.

Though clearly a piece of high technology, the platform’s edges were engraved with mystical astrological patterns and symbols, as if it were a fusion of science and theology.

As Melody examined the platform, a display on its surface suddenly lit up, showing the three words: "The Trading Floor."

Just then, a series of system notifications began to chime:

[The cargo ship docked at the "Odyssey Station" can sail to mysterious, distant lands and bring back various magical goods for you.]

[In exchange, please place the corresponding amount of money or other items for trade on "The Trading Floor."]

Listening to the system’s prompts, Melody couldn’t help but think of the "Far Sea Secret Medicine" she had previously dug up in The Arcadian Lake.

That miraculous pill that could cure all illnesses and bring the dead back to life must have been one of the items brought back by this Odyssey Station!

’The Far Sea Secret Medicine was already incredible. I wonder what other treasures this Odyssey Station can bring back.’ Melody decided to try it out immediately.

She checked her account and saw a balance of 230 million. Gritting her teeth, she said to Albus, "White, help me transfer 200 million to The Trading Floor!"

Although losing 200 million all at once made Melody’s heart ache, she felt the trade would be worth it when she thought about the miraculous effects of the Far Sea Secret Medicine.

After all, money lost could always be earned back.

Compared to money, she had a much greater need for life-saving items like the Far Sea Secret Medicine.

Albus nodded at her words. In the next instant, Melody’s bank account balance decreased by 200 million.
