Lu Aiguo and Shitou quietly discussed things between themselves, and having their own individual storage made everything more convenient. They simply went out and bought two tricycles, then had Lu Yun pave two layers of containers on the floor of the small storage, after which they separated the machines and solar panels on top of the containers.

Even though the containers were hermetically sealed on all four sides at the bottom, it didn’t affect their ability to take out and store items in the small storage. However, their small storage did not have the temperature maintenance function of Lu Yun’s larger storage. Even the food preservation feature was limited, at best extending the storage time by only ten to fifteen days compared to the outside.

Afterward, the two went to the warehouse where the goods trucks were parked in Zi’an Village, spending one whole day making potato chips; another day was dedicated solely to delivering the potato chips; and another day was spent going through streets and alleys, selling cooking oil, wild boar meat, pheasants, rabbits, and wild ducks, among other things...

Usually, Xie Jiang, Lu Aijiao, Wu Tan, Lin Weisheng, and Zhang Ming had Sundays off, but even on Sundays, the four of them often had things to keep busy with.

"Mom’s cooking is getting better and better. You made these noodles yourself, right? They’re really delicious," Lu Yun tasted a little soup first, then ate the fried eggs, and only after finishing the eggs did she start on the noodles. As soon as she chewed, she could feel their perfectly al dente texture.

"Mm, it’s the noodles that taste good. You should thank your dad for kneading the dough," Xia Yuan looked at Lu Aiguo and laughed. The early morning in winter was still dark. Lu Aiguo and Shitou each wore a headlamp and braved the biting cold wind on their bikes, shivering despite wearing long down jackets.

By contrast, Xia Yuan and Lu Yun, who sat in the cart behind Lu Aiguo’s bike, sheltered inside a tent and seated on inflatable stools, were much more comfortable.
