Chapter 224: Lugia Captured

Team Rockets underwater base.

Command room.

Cassidy, looking disheveled, shouted at an old man: "Dr. Lumba!"

"It’s not Lumba, it’s Namba!"

This old man was Dr. Namba, a member of Team Rockets who wanted to capture Lugia. His reason for wanting to capture Lugia was to use its power to create a new energy source.

"Excuse me, Dr. Namba!"

"I am truly sorry, we failed!" Cassidy said apologetically.

"It doesn’t matter. The goal has already been achieved anyway. That little Lugia is no longer important. Change the plan and capture this big Lugia directly!"

Dr. Namba stared at the big Lugia on the screen, which was fighting Gary’s three Pokémon.

Glancing at the screen, Cassidy said seriously: "Yes, we will do our best to capture the big Lugia!"

"Then, Plan F for capturing Lugia begins now!" Dr. Namba announced to the entire base through the microphone.

"Yes!"

Team Rockets members throughout the base became busy.

Some were adjusting various instruments, while others were putting strange devices on all the Pokémon in the base...

Only Heatran and Articuno were left on the field entangled with Lugia; Blastoise had been knocked out early.

The spots on Heatran’s body emitted a strange red light, and the surrounding temperature soared. The air distorted under the scorching high temperature. With a roar, two scorching Twisters attacked Lugia.

Articuno shot a white beam of light at Lugia’s wings.

Facing these two attacks, Lugia folded its wings in front of its chest and released a terrifying airflow to counter.

This was Lugia’s signature move—Aeroblast.

The Team Rockets duo blocked Gary’s path. This time, both of their Pokémon were wearing a strange device.

After Cassidy finished speaking, she took out a special remote control device and pressed it. The strange device on Houndour’s head lit up with white light, and then Houndour’s eyes became sharp.

"Hitmontop, you absolutely cannot lose, use Rolling Kick to counterattack!"

"Houndour, use Flamethrower!"

Facing the attacks of these two Pokémon, Super Scizor dodged them easily as if taking a leisurely stroll.

"Scizor, use Metal Claw to blow up the junk on them."

Gary was not stupid; he knew that these two Pokémon were relying only on the devices on their heads.

"Scizor!"

Super Scizor’s two pincer-like arms grabbed the devices on Houndour and Hitmontop’s heads, and the devices exploded immediately.

Losing the support of the devices, Houndour and Hitmontop looked at the fierce-looking Super Scizor and showed fear. They couldn’t help but take two steps back.

Cassidy was also angry when she saw the device was destroyed. She smashed the remote control in her hand and shouted: "Houndour, don’t be afraid of it, use Flamethrower to burn it to death!"
