Chapter 210: The Surfing Rhydon (Part 2)

The rope snapped, and Rhydon fell heavily back to the ground.

With a foothold, Rhydon tore through the large net almost instantly, then opened its mouth and fired a Hyper Beam at Team Rockets. With a boom, Team Rockets disappeared before Ash’s group like a shooting star.

After driving off Team Rockets, Rhydon wanted to walk into the lake.

Ash stepped directly in front of it and said, "Rhydon, I want to catch you. Come and battle me!"

Rhydon glanced at Ash, then used Stomp on the ground, shaking it violently.

Ash’s feet seemed to be rooted to the ground; he was completely unaffected and instead revealed an eager gaze: "Interesting. The stronger you are, the more I want you. It’s up to you, Deoxys!"

Ash released Rhydon.

"I am the Gym Leader of Olivine City, the Olivine Gym, Jasmine, the beautiful warrior," the girl said confidently.

Ash glanced at her and exposed her identity, saying, "That’s not right. The Gym Leader of Olivine City should be a beautiful young lady. You aren’t an impostor, are you?"

"Ah! It’s over, I’ve been found out!"

The girl hadn’t expected Ash to have done his homework before coming to challenge.

"Forget it. Since you’re here in this Gym, you must be a trainee Gym Leader. It wouldn’t hurt to play around."
