The soldiers behind them fired in unison, unleashing a hail of bullets.

But the bullets bounced harmlessly off Weibull's body, leaving only faint white marks.

"It hurts! You bastards!" Weibull yelled, his simple mind unable to process pain without reacting.

He swung his naginata again, knocking all the soldiers in front of him away.

Those unlucky enough to be hit by the blade were cleaved in half.

The leader of the guards gritted his teeth and charged in himself, only to be cut down by Weibull's blade. Both the leader and his weapon were sliced in half.

With their leader dead, the remaining guards lost all courage and scattered in fear.

"Mom, the enemies are gone! You can come in now!"

Seeing that the enemy had been repelled, Weibull called out to the back.

A short, elderly woman emerged from behind.

She was Weibull's mother, Miss Bajin, who claimed to have been Whitebeard's lover.

"Hahaha! Well done, my son. You're truly the best!" The old woman cackled, her twisted and grotesque face a picture of madness.

But she didn't seem to care at all as she swaggered into the palace with Weibull.

The Kingdom of Gordon was a small, insignificant country, not a member of the World Government, so its military strength was weak.

When Weibull attacked, the king, queen, and prince had already fled, leaving only an empty palace and castle.

People can run, but they can't take the treasure with them.

Miss Bajin was domineering and greedy, and she loved money more than anything.

She had instructed Weibull to destroy a small town on Gordon Island the day before, looting treasure, but she was still unsatisfied and had him plunder the palace the next day.
