In a dimly lit room, Shiryu of the Rain meticulously tended to his beloved blade. A cigar dangled from the corner of his mouth, and a cold sneer curled his lips.

He had already learned of the news—his subordinate Scorpion had been killed—and he had also received direct orders from Lucifer.

At that moment, a pirate entered the room and reported, "Master Shiryu, the ship is ready."

Shiryu slid his blade back into its sheath, spat out the cigar, and said indifferently, "Send my order—set sail immediately!"

"Yes, Master Shiryu!"

Soon, Shiryu of the Rain and his men set out to sea.

A group of pirates sat on the deck, indulging in a raucous banquet. The main topic of their conversations revolved around the Ghost Pirates.

Even the mighty Whitebeard Pirates felt the looming threat of Lucifer, who continued to expand his power.

At the same time, the crew was intrigued by the rookie, Fire Fist Ace.

After all, Ace was the first person to challenge Lucifer's authority since the Ghost Pirates' reputation had spread throughout the seas.

"The kid's got guts; I'll give him that," said one pirate, holding up a newspaper.

The headlines highlighted Fire Fist Ace's victory over the Scorpion, Nasus.

Because of this battle, Ace's bounty had soared to 500 million berries.

"This guy's no pushover. With the power of a Logia fruit, I guess he's earned the right to be cocky."

"Logia Mera-Mera no Mi... Why are these rookies so damn lucky?" another pirate grumbled enviously.

The older pirates, hardened by decades in the New World, had never stumbled upon such powerful Devil Fruits. Yet, the rising generation seemed to find them with ease.

Lucifer's "Speech-Speech Fruit" was already considered a monstrous ability, and now this year's standout rookie had obtained the Logia fire ability.

The luck of these newcomers filled the older pirates with envy and bitterness.

"Luck aside, that rookie's arrogance will get him killed sooner rather than later," said Diamond Joz.

"Yeah, especially since he dared to mess with Lucifer," another pirate added.

"A flash in the pan," someone scoffed. "It's a shame. The kid has potential, but he won't last long."

The crew was unanimous in their pessimism. None of them believed Ace could survive the wrath of the Ghost Pirates.

Sitting on a massive sofa, Whitebeard held Ace's wanted poster in his hand.

For reasons he couldn't quite explain, the young man stirred a strange sense of familiarity in him.

As he gazed at the poster, Whitebeard felt as if he were seeing the shadow of an old friend.

At that moment, a pirate approached and reported, "Father, the Red-Haired Pirates sent someone with a letter for you."

"Red-Haired?" Whitebeard murmured.

The other pirates fell silent, their rowdy chatter replaced by quiet curiosity.

"Bring him here," Whitebeard ordered.

"Yes, Father."

Soon, a pirate was escorted onto the deck of the Moby Dick.

"This is a letter from our captain. Please accept it," the messenger said respectfully, clearly no stranger to the dangers of the New World.

Despite having the Red-Haired Pirates behind him, he was surrounded by Whitebeard's monstrous crew. There was no room for arrogance.

"A letter from that red-haired brat, huh? How troublesome," Whitebeard muttered as he accepted the letter. Without even glancing at its contents, he promptly tore it to shreds.

"Hey! What are you doing?" the messenger exclaimed, scrambling to pick up the torn pieces of paper. "The captain said the contents are important!"

Whitebeard chuckled dismissively. "Sending me a letter? Since when did that brat become so annoying?"

Whitebeard took a sip of fine wine from his jug and said, "Although I didn't read the letter, I already know what he's trying to tell me."

"Go back and tell him, if he has something to discuss, he should come to me with some good wine."

"Now go, and make sure he understands—I don't want to talk to a kid with a runny nose."

Whitebeard looked down at the pirate from his elevated position, and the vast contrast between the two of them exerted immense pressure on the pirate.

The pirate opened his mouth as if to speak, but no words came out. His legs turned to jelly, and he collapsed onto the deck in fear.

Afterward, the pirate left in utter despair.

The members of the Whitebeard Pirates didn't mock him out loud because they understood that it was only natural to feel small in the presence of Whitebeard.

Marco approached Whitebeard, his eyes as cold as ever. "The redhead sent us a letter at this time... it must be about Lucifer, right?"

Marco wasn't a fool—he'd also figured out something.

Whitebeard didn't answer immediately. He just gazed at the distant sea, his eyes clouded with complicated thoughts.

Upon hearing the news, Shanks smiled boldly and set sail immediately.

Whitebeard's response was exactly what Shanks had expected.

After Lucifer had defeated the Four Emperors' BIG MOM, this marked the second time the Four Emperors had directly engaged with each other.

All forces were shocked when the news broke, and even the Naval Headquarters and the World Government were shaken by it.

Marineford – Naval Headquarters Meeting Room

"As you all know, the redhead has been in contact with Whitebeard."

A grand meeting was taking place in the Marineford meeting room.

There were far more people in attendance this time.

Following the world conscription, the Marine forces had been significantly bolstered. Both their low-level soldiers and high-ranking combatants were stronger than ever.

The three Marine Admirals—Aokiji, Kizaru, and Fujitora—sat in the front row, while the Vice Admirals and Rear Admirals filled the rest of the room.

"Why are Whitebeard and the redhead talking? What is the reason?"

"It's hard to believe that the two of them would work together."

"The Four Emperors facing each other head-on... that's a dangerous situation!"

"If they go to war, Marine could benefit from it, but what if they unite?"

There was much chatter among the Marine officers, the meeting room filled with noise and speculation.

"Enough! Quiet down!"

Marshal Sengoku's booming voice cut through the chaos, and the room immediately fell silent.

Sengoku spoke, "From the information we've gathered, Whitebeard and Shanks haven't actually met in person yet."

"But our informants have sent back news that the actions of both are likely in response to Lucifer."

"Lucifer?"

"Could it be that Whitebeard and Shanks are teaming up to take down Lucifer?"

A Marine Vice Admiral asked, his eyes lighting up.

Among pirates, it was survival of the fittest, and they loved to hear about such conflicts.

If Whitebeard and Shanks joined forces, even if they couldn't completely defeat Lucifer, they would still deal a significant blow to the Ghost Pirates.

Marine would be more than happy to see this happen.

After all, the Ghost Pirates had become far too powerful, and even Naval Headquarters, now strengthened through world conscription, was terrified.

"Exactly," Sengoku confirmed. "Lucifer has been threatening both Shanks and Whitebeard while expanding his territory and power in the New World."

"Although the two of them haven't had any direct conflict with Lucifer, they are still competitors."

"If Lucifer is allowed to expand unchecked, sooner or later, it will pose a threat to them both."

"Shanks and Whitebeard aren't idiots; they won't let that happen."

"Does this mean Whitebeard and Shanks might team up against Lucifer? Is this our chance?"

A Marine Vice Admiral exclaimed excitedly.

"That's right," another officer added, "If Whitebeard and Shanks join forces, Lucifer will have to fight with all he's got."

"No matter who wins, the battle between these three top pirate groups will result in heavy losses."

"When that happens, it will be Marine's best opportunity to take them down!"

Many of the Marine Vice Admirals looked thrilled, their excitement palpable.

Especially the hawk faction among them, who gripped their weapons tightly, bodies trembling in anticipation.

Sengoku spoke in a deep voice, "Starting today, we will closely monitor every move in the New World. We cannot afford to miss anything related to the Red-Haired Pirates, Whitebeard Pirates, and the Ghost Pirates."

"As soon as we have information, it must be reported to Naval Headquarters immediately."

"At the same time, gather the forces, ramp up training, and prepare for war at any moment!"

"Understood!"

All the Marine Vice Admirals and Rear Admirals stood up and shouted in unison.

"Fujitora, Aokiji, you two lead the troops to the New World G-1 branch first. Wait for my next orders."

"Yes, sir."

"Finally, a chance for me to stretch my legs!"

Aokiji and Fujitora both stood at attention.

After the orders were given, Marine's vast fleet departed from Red Harbor, located below the Red Line.

Over fifty Marine warships set sail, carrying a total of around 50,000 troops.

This was only the first wave—more forces would follow.

Thanks to the world conscription, Naval Headquarters was stronger than ever.

With just a command, they could mobilize tens of millions of soldiers in the blink of an eye!
