One Piece: Invincible Starting From The Fruit Of Words

"Little brat, what you should be thinking about now is yourself."

"After Kaido loses, what will you do next?"

The Red Earl held a long sword, its blade dripping with fresh blood.

In front of him, King, the Calamity, was covered in cuts and bruises, his body riddled with wounds. Even half of his mask had been shattered.

The Red Earl, having fully regained his peak combat power, stood as a force on par with the Four Emperors, far surpassing King's strength.

"Captain Kaido will never lose. I believe in him!"

King tore off the remains of his broken mask, revealing a youthful yet resolute face. "If he dies, I'll go to hell with him!"

"Good. You're a loyal one," the Red Earl said, a glint of appreciation in his eyes.

Even among pirates, loyalty was a rare and valued trait, especially to legendary figures like the Red Earl.

However, admiration only went so far. The Red Earl was merciless when it came to battle.

With a casual wave of his sword, he unleashed a slash imbued with the power of a great swordsman. At the same time, countless vampire bats emerged from the shadows, swarming toward King.

Clad in red and exuding an air of elegance, the Red Earl resembled a noble vampire from legend.

"Little brat, this is the end for you. Don't let yourself die too quickly!"

Clang!

A crimson slash tore through the air, striking King directly.

King had no way to evade. Flames erupted from his back as he attempted to counter, but they were instantly torn apart.

With a flash of sword light, one of King's wings was severed, the blade leaving a clean cut.

Despite the agonizing wound, King remained silent, his resolve unshaken.

High above the battlefield, Lucifer hovered in the air. Beneath him lay the ruins of Onigashima and the massive, lifeless form of Kaido's dragon body.

"Kaido, are you still alive?"

Boom!

As Lucifer spoke, the enormous green dragon stirred. Kaido's colossal body rose, towering over the battlefield.

"Laozi isn't so easy to kill, Lucifer! You're a hundred years too early to take me down!"

"Tornado Breath!"

Kaido roared, his draconic voice shaking the heavens. Lightning surged from his body, striking toward Lucifer. At the same time, as Kaido's body twisted and coiled, the air around him transformed into a storm of spinning tornado blades, slashing their way toward Lucifer.

Lucifer smirked coldly. "Fancy tricks. But they're useless!"

"Shinra Tensei!"

With a single palm strike, Lucifer unleashed a surge of Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki, creating an overwhelming force of repulsion. The attack shattered both the lightning and the tornado blades, scattering them harmlessly into the air.

The repulsive force continued forward, crashing directly into Kaido's massive dragon form.

Boom!

Kaido's enormous body was hurled backward. The impact caused him to cough up a mouthful of blood as he let out a pained roar.

"Damned bastard!" Kaido bellowed, summoning a storm of lightning to strike Lucifer.

As Kaido's body began to shrink, he reverted to his human form. He now realized that his massive dragon form only made him an easier target for Lucifer.

Lucifer didn't budge, effortlessly blasting away the incoming lightning with a flick of his hand.

Kaido, however, wasn't finished.

"Drunken Thunder: Thunderbolt Yin Na Luo!"

Kaido charged forward, gripping his spiked kanabo tightly. The weapon crackled with Conqueror's Haki and lightning, tearing through the air with enough force to distort space itself.

Before the attack even landed, the sound of a thunderclap roared across the battlefield.

"Die!" Kaido roared, bringing his kanabo down with all his might.

Boom!

The impact unleashed a devastating shockwave, with Lucifer at its center. Waves of shock and lightning radiated outward, tearing through the battlefield.

"The Wall of Vacuum!"

Lucifer raised a hand, conjuring an invisible barrier in his palm. The barrier effortlessly blocked Kaido's devastating strike, stopping the kanabo in its tracks.

"Is that all you've got?" Lucifer asked, his voice calm and indifferent.

In that moment, a cold light flashed in Lucifer's eyes.

Kaido's expression shifted. Sensing danger, he leaped back at an incredible speed.

But it was too late. Lucifer's finishing move was already in motion.

"Sword of Judgment: Weeping Blood and Tearing the Sky!"

Clang!

A blinding flash of sword light sliced through the air, cutting off a distant corner of Onigashima. The attack didn't stop there—it extended ten thousand meters away, splitting the sea itself.

Kaido gritted his teeth, his face twisted in pain.

A severed arm, covered in cyan dragon scales, flew into the air. It was Kaido's left arm.

"Oh? You managed to dodge most of it," Lucifer remarked with a faint smile.

Lucifer's sword was aimed at Kaido's neck, but he managed to retreat just in time, avoiding a fatal blow. Only one of his arms was severed.

Boom!

Kaido crashed to the ground, creating a massive sinkhole upon impact.

Lucifer descended from the sky, landing near Kaido.

"How is it? Kaido, are you still going to fight?"

"You should know you're no match for me."

Lucifer spoke slowly. "I haven't even used 30% of my strength, and you've already lost an arm and sustained serious injuries."

"If you continue to fight, you'll definitely die."

Kaido spat out a mouthful of blood and growled, "Hit me if you want, but stop talking so much."

"Today, it's either you die, or I do. There's no third option."

"Oh, why bother?"

Lucifer shook his head in regret. "I originally wanted to spare your life and offer you a place in the Nether Pirates."

"Don't you want to start a war that will shake the world? I can make it happen quickly."

"When the time comes, you won't be bored anymore."

"Hmph, you arrogant brat, you want to subdue me?"

Kaido, clearly irritated, shot back, "Who do you think I am?"

"You want me to be your dog? Are you dreaming?"

"David Thunder Eight Trigrams!"

In less than 0.0001 seconds, Kaido teleported to Lucifer and swung his massive mace, aiming for Lucifer's head.

The mace was coated in high-density Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki, and the sheer power behind it could easily destroy an island.

Boom!

Lucifer didn't dodge. He allowed Kaido's mace to strike him directly on the forehead.

A shockwave erupted, and the ground behind Lucifer was plowed into a thousand-meter-long trench.

However, after taking the blow, Lucifer remained unaffected, standing calmly with his hands in his pockets, as if the attack hadn't even fazed him.

Lucifer's forehead was covered in a layer of Armament Haki, which easily blocked Kaido's ultimate move.

Not only was Lucifer unharmed, but it felt like a breeze on his face.

"..."

Kaido's eyes widened in disbelief.

At that moment, his face twisted in utter astonishment.

This was his ultimate move. Even Whitebeard or Luo Jie wouldn't dare to take this attack head-on.

In the past, Kaido had wounded Whitebeard and Luo Jie with this technique.

But now, Lucifer had withstood it using only Haki and his physical strength.

He didn't even try to dodge.

What kind of confidence was this? What kind of disdain did Lucifer have for him?

"Bastard!"

Kaido gripped his mace with one hand, lightning crackling around it. His Haki condensed again, and fury radiated from his every pore.

"Conceited bastard, go to hell!"

"Roar Thunder Eight Trigrams!"

Kaido had never been this angry before.

Lucifer's dismissive attitude had pushed him over the edge.

He was the strongest creature in the world, always looking down on others, taking their attacks head-on with his body.

When had it ever been his turn to be treated like this?

Lucifer still didn't move. He let Kaido's attack land on his head, over and over again.

After a series of strikes, the ground behind Lucifer was shattered.

Yet Lucifer remained unmoved, his body unaffected by the blows.

Kaido's mace smashed into Lucifer's head with all its might, but Lucifer didn't even flinch.

Click!

A faint crack echoed in both Lucifer's and Kaido's ears.

The mace in Kaido's hand suddenly showed cracks.

The cracks spread rapidly, and with a loud bang, the mace shattered into pieces.

Kaido's attack had caused no harm to Lucifer, yet his prized weapon was destroyed. The change in Kaido's expression was immediate.

"Impossible!"

Kaido's worldview was shaken, and his understanding of strength was completely overturned.

His pride and self-esteem had been shattered beyond recognition.

"I... I can't beat him!"

Staring at the expressionless Lucifer, Kaido suddenly felt a sense of helplessness.

This was a feeling he hadn't experienced in years—no, he'd never felt this way before.

"Is that all?"

"Then you can die."

Lucifer kicked Kaido in the chest.

His toes didn't even touch Kaido; the attack was delivered through an invisible layer of Conqueror's Haki.

Boom!

The shockwave pierced through Kaido's dragon body. The moment he was struck, Kaido's eyes rolled back, his mouth opened, his mind went blank, and his consciousness seemed to float away into the sky.

Kaido shot backward like a freight train, tearing through the ground. The shockwave split the earth in its wake, smashing hills to pieces, and finally sent Kaido flying out of Onigashima.
