This was Baccarat, a trusted subordinate of the Golden Emperor and a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit user with the Lucky-Lucky Fruit.

The Lucky-Lucky Fruit was an extraordinary ability: as long as she absorbed enough good fortune, no attack could touch her. However, Baccarat had never reached her full potential—her skills were still at a novice level.

"Lord Lucifer, Mr. Tezoro has instructed us to cover all the expenses of the Nether Pirates. Please, follow me," she said, maintaining her composure.

Guided by Baccarat, Lucifer and his crew stepped into the grand interior of the Golden City.

As expected from the stories, everything inside was crafted from gleaming gold.

The Golden City, renowned as the world's largest entertainment hub, offered every kind of amusement imaginable.

Casinos, red-light districts, racing tracks, fighting rings, and death-betting arenas—it was a paradise for those seeking thrills. If one could dream it, the Golden City provided it.

Lucifer scanned the lively scene with a faint smile. "What a vibrant place. Tezoro certainly knows how to enjoy himself."

Baccarat responded with a polite smile. "Please, Lord Lucifer, enjoy yourself to your heart's content."

She clapped her hands, summoning four elegant bunny girls carrying golden trays filled with glittering chips.

"This is a welcome gift from Lord Tezoro. Please accept it," Baccarat said graciously.

Lucifer nodded and smiled faintly. "Thank you."

Baccarat added, "The banquet preparations are underway. Lord Tezoro has long wished to meet you, Sir Lucifer."

"Is that so? Inform him that I will attend," Lucifer replied casually.

"Understood," Baccarat said before retreating with a professional bow.

Lucifer and his crew, led by Enel, ventured deeper into the casino.

"Captain, wouldn't it be simpler to declare war outright? Why all these unnecessary steps?" Enel asked, clearly impatient.

He had no interest in playing along. Conquering the Golden City and eliminating the Golden Emperor was his only goal.

Lucifer shook his head slightly. "There's no rush. It's rare to visit a place like this—why not have a bit of fun?"

"It would be a shame to destroy such a grand entertainment city," he added, his gaze drifting across the casino floor.

Around them were New World pirates, many with bounties exceeding 300 million Berries. Lucifer spotted at least seven or eight such notorious captains mingling in the crowd.

There were also royals and nobles from various countries—a gathering of the rich and powerful.

Lucifer's lips curled into a cold smile. "What a perfect hunting ground."

Killing intent flashed in his eyes.

Though not as tempting as raiding Impel Down or the strongholds of the Four Emperors, this place was still ripe with opportunities.

If he slaughtered all the pirates gathered here, he could easily accumulate hundreds of thousands of kill points.

A gunshot suddenly echoed through the casino, followed by panicked screams.

A gaming table was thrown into chaos as a body slumped lifelessly onto the floor, blood pooling beneath it.

The guests recoiled in fear upon seeing the shooter.

"The Celestial Dragons," Lucifer murmured, his eyes narrowing.

A man wearing a helmet, with a snotty nose and an air of arrogance, stood holding a smoking gun.

He was one of the Celestial Dragons, the so-called "gods" among the world's nobility.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The corpse lying in expensive royal garb was riddled with fresh bullet holes. Blood sprayed everywhere as the Celestial Dragon kept firing, shouting furiously.

"Filthy commoner! How dare you win against me!"

"I'm a Celestial Dragon! Who gave you the audacity to act so arrogantly in my presence?"

With each shout, another bullet tore through the body.

By the time his gun clicked empty, the victim's back resembled a honeycomb, and the surrounding floor was awash with blood.

Terrified royals and nobles covered their mouths, daring not to breathe too loudly. The pirates, however, watched with amusement, relishing the spectacle.

"Not enough! I need more commoners to play with," the Celestial Dragon barked, scanning the crowd.

Those caught in his gaze instinctively stepped back.

Who would dare challenge a Celestial Dragon now? Winning against him was a death sentence. Losing wasn't much safer.

"What's this? Is no one brave enough?" he sneered before ordering his guards, "Bring me a few more people to play with!"

Before the guards could act, a calm voice cut through the tension.

"Allow me to join you."

Lucifer stepped forward, his presence immediately commanding attention.

The guards froze, their eyes widening in terror as cold sweat dripped down their faces.

"L-L-Lord Lucifer!"

"Why is he here?!"

"This is bad! Something terrible is about to happen!"

They instinctively moved to shield the Celestial Dragon, their instincts screaming at them to flee.

Of all the places to be, their misfortune had brought them face-to-face with Lucifer, one of the Four Emperors.

Compared to the terrified guards, the Celestial Dragon was rather pleased. "Go to the table quickly! That filthy pariah was too arrogant just now; it wasn't fun at all."

Seeing the enthusiastic Celestial Dragon, the guards rushed forward to stop him. "Sir Sabivari, that's Lucifer, the demon who invaded the Holy Land!"

"It's too dangerous! We need to leave immediately!"

"Nani?!! Lucifer!!!"

Upon hearing that name, the Celestial Dragon's face went pale, and all his arrogance and pride vanished in an instant.

Since that fateful night, all the Celestial Dragons in the Holy Land had been haunted by one name: Lucifer.

This man was the only demon who dared defy the Celestial Dragons, the so-called "nobles of the world."

"No more betting! I'm not betting anymore, I'm leaving!"

"Take me out of here! Now!"

The Celestial Dragon yelled, but despite his frantic attempts, he couldn't move from his seat.

The onlookers—pirates and nobles alike—watched with malicious amusement as the Celestial Dragon humiliated himself.

Just a moment ago, the Celestial Dragon had been so arrogant; now, he was a pitiful figure, cowering in fear.

"Shut up, idiot!"

Lucifer's low growl made the Celestial Dragon immediately fall silent. His mouth trembled, but no sound came out.

Lucifer leaned in closer. "If you manage to beat me, you can leave alive."

"If you don't want to play, then your guards will bear the consequences."

As soon as Lucifer finished speaking, the bodies of the dozen or so Celestial Dragon guards kneeling on the ground exploded in a violent burst. Blood and flesh flew everywhere, raining down on the Celestial Dragon.

The shocking display of violence made him wet himself in fear.

"Oh look, he peed himself!"

"The Celestial Dragon pissed his pants! This is huge news!"

"Today has truly opened my eyes!"

"As expected of Four Emperors Lucifer, truly incredible!"

The pirates watching this spectacle laughed heartily.
