In every webnovel Leo had forced him to read, the system always came with some sort of stat screen: Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Charisma, Luck. This was so the protagonist should be able to level up by doing pushups or studying or getting into fights or whatever the plot required.

This system has jack shit.

Jordan scrolled throughj the interface. There had to be more to this system than that right?

He found the Gacha button and tapped it.

He wouldn’t be surprised if there was some unknown fungus growing under his bed.

Damn had it rally been three months?

Damage Control (Physical): Visit a licensed salon. Eradicate the fried CVS box-dye disaster. Revert to natural dirty blonde or acquire a cut suitable for a human male. No flowbee allowed.

Ah, the dye job disaster. He decided to get it after Eliza mentioned how hot some influencer guy looked and he had that hair color. Too bad it made Jordan look like he lost a battle with a bottle of Clairol.

Just had to go directly for the jugular, huh? The system was going to make him apologize to his dad and mean it.

Jordan had been dodging his dad’s calls after getting notified of his allowance being cut. The system knew about Jordan spending Christmas pining over some girl instead of spending quality time with family.

Jordan didn’t need the system to explain what that meant. He was living it. He’d been living it for months.

So the system was making Jordan put his money where his mouth is. Either clean up his life, fix his mistakes and call his dad to apologize, or the system will deem him unworthy and he will just regress to being that same loser that got dumped on Christmas.

TIME LIMIT: 24:00:00

Twenty-four hours.

Jordan took a deep breath and looked at the gargantuan task he needed to complete to start rebuilding his life back from square one.

Ground Zero was the most fitting quest title this could be. He did hit rock bottom and at zero is where you start your climb if you truly want to get out of the hole.

Jordan pressed accept.

The screen flashed gold.
