’What kind of move is this?’

Mo Ling stared intently at the Prophet in the center of the Temple, as if facing a formidable foe.

However, the scene that followed shocked everyone present.

The Sheep-headed Man lifted its rack, raised it over its head with both hands, and hurled it with all its might at the Prophet, who was in the middle of powering up.

The rack tumbled through the air and smashed heavily onto the Prophet’s forehead.

The Prophet’s attack was interrupted on the spot, and the rage on its face became even more uncontrollable.

It no longer paid any attention to the team on the side, instead staring savagely at the Sheep-headed Man.

The Sheep-headed Man stood its ground, still wearing that same lawless expression.

Mo Ling had already been preparing a counterattack, but he was stunned by the Sheep-headed Man’s actions.

’What is it trying to do?’

It seemed the Sheep-headed Man had designated the Prophet as its new target.

Its body tensed slightly, and it charged straight down.

As it charged, it summoned two giant chainsaws on its arms and swung them at the Prophet.

The Prophet’s fighting spirit was also stirred. The liquid of its left hand began to ripple, actually transforming into a thick turtle shell to block the attack.

The Sheep-headed Man’s chainsaws struck the turtle shell, and the chainsaw chains shattered instantly, but it didn’t stop its assault.

The toothless chains retracted into the Sheep-headed Man’s body, and when they reappeared, they were fully repaired, once again grinding against the turtle shell.

The Prophet didn’t let the Sheep-headed Man continue to wear it down.

The turtle shell began to glow faintly and soften, embedding the chainsaws within it like soft mud.

Then, two long bone spikes grew from the sides of the shell, bypassing the Sheep-headed Man’s arms and plunging straight into its ribs.

But it wasn’t over. The bone spikes then turned into tentacles, swelling up from within the Sheep-headed Man, trying to make it explode from the inside out.

Just as the Sheep-headed Man was about to be torn apart, black, chain-like patterns began to appear beneath its skin.

The chains moved through the Sheep-headed Man’s body like parasites, forcibly severing the foreign objects inside. Then they suddenly burst out and shot towards the Prophet’s head.

The ejected chains pierced the Prophet’s head, but the head suddenly liquefied and disappeared, causing the chains to fall to the ground.

The Prophet gave a hard shove, and the re-hardened turtle shell knocked the Sheep-headed Man away.

The severed tentacles remained inside the Sheep-headed Man’s body. It paid them no mind, continuing its attack with the tentacles still inside until they were pushed out by its healing flesh.

The battle between the two monsters left everyone present dumbfounded.

They couldn’t care less if they were injured; all that mattered was whether their attacks were effective against the other.

There was no defense, only the ultimate offense.

The Prophet grew thin fungal filaments from its body, which pierced the Sheep-headed Man as it charged forward again.

The Sheep-headed Man swung an arm, severing the filaments, and plunged its chainsaw into the Prophet’s abdomen.

The broken fungal filaments suddenly turned into black nematoids. One side continuously elongated, dangling from the Sheep-headed Man’s body and burrowing into the ground.

Then, the nematoids slowly tightened, pulling the Sheep-headed Man toward the ground.

The chainsaw, buried deep in the Prophet’s abdomen, was dragged downward by the momentum, tearing open a wound that reached its thigh.

A transparent liquid slowly filled and covered the wound. In the blink of an eye, no trace of the injury could be seen.

The Prophet lifted its foot, which transformed into a giant, spiked plant leaf that descended upon the fallen Sheep-headed Man.

The leaf enveloped the Sheep-headed Man completely, and serrated threads grew on its inner surface and began to spin violently.

But a flash of black light sliced through the air, and the leaf split in two. A bloody and mangled Sheep-headed Man leaped out from within.

It healed at a rapid pace while once again raising its chainsaws to cut at the Prophet.

"How long are they going to keep fighting?" a soldier couldn’t help but ask.

One is completely unkillable, the other is constantly changing. It seemed like this battle would never have a victor.

But Mo Ling didn’t think so at all.

He had noticed a subtle variable in this fight.

’The Sheep-headed Man’s healing ability is getting stronger!’

’And it’s finding more and more ways to use its chainsaws.’

Gradually, the Sheep-headed Man was no longer limited to extending chainsaws from its arms; it began to summon them from various parts of its body.

The Prophet’s attacks were finding it increasingly difficult to harm the Sheep-headed Man.

This experienced war machine seemed to have realized this as well.

It then once again transformed, creating those flying insects that could ignite into flames, and sent them flying toward the Sheep-headed Man.

The Sheep-headed Man didn’t dodge or evade. Instead, it continuously shot out chains, attacking the Prophet in the sky.

The insects landed on the Sheep-headed Man, and a burst of fire erupted, instantly turning it into a charred husk.

The Prophet knew the Sheep-headed Man’s regenerative ability was incredibly formidable, so it created countless more insects, adding more fuel to the fire.

After a few more times, the figure in the flames stopped moving.

’Has the Sheep-headed Man been destroyed?’

Even though the Sheep-headed Man was taking a horrific beating, Mo Ling, who knew the characteristics of the Red Rope Worm, didn’t believe it could be destroyed.

’It will only get stronger.’

Sure enough, the figure in the flames slowly began to move.

A glowing red Sheep-headed Man walked out of the fire.

It had actually summoned miniature chainsaw chains from all over its body, covering itself completely.

The Sheep-headed Man’s healing ability also reached an absolutely terrifying level.

Furthermore, its methods of using the chainsaws were becoming harder and harder to comprehend.

The Sheep-headed Man even shot countless chains directly from its chest, trying to grab the Prophet in the air, nearly dragging it to the ground.

The Prophet hastily transformed to dodge, but by now, it seemed to be at a complete loss as to how to deal with the Sheep-headed Man.

It could only fly back and forth in the sky. Its methods of attack began to repeat, as it had surely realized that its attacks were only making the Sheep-headed Man stronger.

Seeing the Prophet struggling against the Sheep-headed Man just as he had, Mo Ling suddenly felt a little better.

The Red Rope Worm was truly astounding.

As the Prophet flew through the sky, it suddenly did something strange.

It positioned itself directly above the Sheep-headed Man. When the creature launched a chain attack, the Prophet instantly turned into liquid and fell downward.

Countless drops of transparent liquid rained down on the Sheep-headed Man, but no attack occurred.

’What is the Prophet doing?’

The falling liquid covered the Sheep-headed Man’s entire body, sticking to its skin and beginning to merge with it.
