I'm Trapped in the Block

The clear water began to constantly change its form.

One moment, it crawled on the shell like a Slime. The next, it became a bird, flapping on the ground but unable to fly...

Finally, the clear water swelled, becoming a large pool. But the golden light still seemed unsatisfied. It continued to transform, causing the pool to start gushing upward.

"This is... the Wishing Spring?"

Mo Ling could hardly believe his eyes. This fountain was identical to the Wishing Spring, a perfect match in size, shape, and every detail.

’I never thought the Wishing Spring was created this way.’

Compared to when it unfurled, the gauze creature’s movements were now very slow. As it contracted, it shook off the dirt the gauze had collected.

This caused a rain of sand to fall from the sky. The gauze had been covered in sand during the great battle, and it was all being shaken loose as it folded.

When the gauze net was used to wrap the sea turtle, the gauze had also gotten wet. Now, this moisture was constantly being expelled, turning into raindrops that fell from the sky, landing in the already damp sand.

After some time, the gauze creature had shrunk into a small ball, taking on the appearance of a Little Elf.

It looked exactly like the Wishing Spring’s Little Elf, but this one’s color was Purple. Its entire body was woven from Purple light, with the dense gauze folded within it, intricate and delicate.

With the gauze no longer blocking the way, the stagnant, sandy wind started blowing again. This Purple Little Elf faced the wind and plunged into the Wishing Spring.

At the same time, Mo Ling hurried closer and flew into the Wishing Spring, wanting to see what was happening inside the water.

The moment the Purple Little Elf plunged into the Wishing Spring, it arrived in an unknown space of flowing water.

This was the place the Wishing Spring would later use to "host" wish-makers.

The Purple Little Elf seemed very anxious, drifting back and forth within the watery space as if searching for something.

Before long, the golden light within the currents noticed the intruder and flew out from the water nearby.

At this moment, the golden light was still just as lively and unpredictable as when the Purple gauze creature had held it.

This egg-sized ball of light bounced and bounded around the Purple Little Elf, circling it, seemingly without much intelligence.

It repeated this cycle over and over.

But the golden light was having a blast, like a mischievous child circling the Purple Little Elf in the center.

The golden light only stopped when that ethereal, pleasant voice once again came from the mouth of the Little Elf the Purple gauze creature had become.

"Stop playing around." The Purple gauze creature sounded a little helpless as it looked at the darting golden light.

After hearing this, the golden light finally stopped bouncing around. It rolled in front of the Purple gauze creature and stared at it blankly.

Even though the golden light wasn’t large, the Purple gauze creature took a fearful step back, as if it was afraid of it.

’The Purple gauze creature is actually scared?’ Mo Ling could hardly believe it.

The memory of that sky-spanning Purple net was still fresh in Mo Ling’s mind.

A creature with such terrifying power was actually afraid of the golden light before it.

’Just what is the origin of this golden light?’

Just as Mo Ling was pondering this, the golden light changed.

Strands of golden thread emerged from the ball of light and began to interweave. In the blink of an eye, it had taken the form of the Purple Little Elf, only its entire body shimmered with golden light, giving it a sacred appearance.

And so, the two Little Elves of different colors stared at each other. The scene was one of breathtaking beauty.

The Golden Little Elf mimicked the Purple Little Elf’s movements, also making a fearful expression.

A clear and gentle voice came from its mouth: "Stop playing around."

It seemed to be repeating the Purple gauze creature’s words.

"Are you copying me?" the Purple Little Elf asked curiously.

"Are you copying me?" the Golden Little Elf copied, repeating the exact same words.

Not only that, but the Golden Little Elf was also getting used to its new form. It started trying to fly around the space, but its movements were very strange, as if it were being grabbed and flung about, completely lacking any grace.

As it flew, it started playing again, like a punctured balloon, ricocheting rapidly around the watery space. One moment it would dive into the current, the next it would shoot out abruptly.

As it flew, it also made a "WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH" sound, seemingly imitating the sandy wind outside.

To Mo Ling’s surprise, when the Golden Little Elf flew in front of him, it actually stopped and glanced at him curiously.

"Are you copying me?" After saying this to Mo Ling, it ignored him and went back to darting around wildly.

Mo Ling suddenly realized that this Golden Little Elf also had the ability to see through the illusion of the past and into the future.

But right now, it didn’t seem to care about his presence, like an innocent young child who only wanted to play.

The Purple gauze creature, by contrast, seemed very anxious. It flew into the Golden Little Elf’s path, blocking its way.

It was the shape of an Olive.
