"Nameless has broken through again! Judging by his aura, could he have reached the Spirit Aspect Tier?" a Martial Artist asked, his voice tinged with envy.

"I don’t think so. Otherwise, the Divine Martial Realm would have expelled him. After all, only Martial Artists below the Spirit Marquis Tier are allowed to enter."

"Even if he hasn’t, he must be close. Nameless was already defying the heavens before he even became a Spirit Aspect Powerhouse. If he really breaks through... I can’t even imagine it!" the crowd marveled.

Nameless, however, paid no mind to the crowd’s admiration. After emerging from the Blood Pool, he nodded at the Divine Martial Elder and swiftly departed the Divine Martial Realm.

After Nameless left the Divine Martial Realm, all eyes turned back to the Blood Pool. Only Ouyang Shaoyu, Jian Wushuang, Xue Shitian, and Shen Haoran were still inside.

"These people truly are the most outstanding representatives of our Northern Domain’s younger generation. They’ve stayed in the Divine Martial Blood Pool for dozens of days. When they emerge, they’re bound to have broken through to the Spirit Aspect Tier!" someone murmured.

But as soon as he finished speaking, someone disagreed.

"You’ve got that wrong," a Martial Artist retorted with a sneer. "I agree that Ouyang Shaoyu, Jian Wushuang, and Xue Shitian are the leading figures of our Northern Domain’s younger generation. But why are you lumping Shen Haoran in with them? He’s just a Tier Two Spirit Marquis. How can he possibly be compared to the likes of Jian Wushuang and Xue Shitian!"

Murong Wanqing and Han Xu were not pleased to hear this. Their expressions darkened, and Murong Wanqing said coldly, "And why can’t my Brother Haoran be compared to them? My Brother Haoran withstood three times the Divine Martial pressure and reached the very bottom of the Divine Martial Blood Pool! Who else in the entire Northern Domain can compare to him? If you ask me, it’s those three who are unworthy of being compared to my Brother Haoran!"

Hearing Murong Wanqing’s words, the surrounding disciples reacted as if they’d heard the funniest joke in the world. "HA HA! Are you saying Jian Wushuang and the others can’t even compare to Shen Haoran? That’s hilarious! The power of Jian Wushuang’s group is beyond anything you or I could possibly imagine. In front of them, your ’Brother Haoran’ is nothing but a clown playing to the gallery!"

"You’re lying!" Murong Wanqing’s face flushed red with anger.

"HA HA! Lying, am I? Fine, let’s make a bet. We’ll see who comes out of the Divine Martial Blood Pool first: Jian Wushuang’s group, or Shen Haoran. If your Brother Haoran emerges first, then you’ll come home with me and be my concubine. If Jian Wushuang’s group comes out first, I’ll get on my knees and call you ’Grandma’! What do you say? Do you dare accept?" a Martial Artist boomed, his eyes raking shamelessly over Murong Wanqing’s body, making her skin crawl.

"Fine, I accept!" The thought of them daring to insult Shen Haoran made rage flare in Murong Wanqing’s heart, and she agreed without a second thought.

"Wanqing, you..." Han Xu started to object, but seeing the unwavering determination in her eyes, he fell silent.

Hearing Murong Wanqing’s acceptance, a wicked smirk played on the Martial Artist’s lips. He then turned his gaze back to the Divine Martial Blood Pool, where everyone was now waiting in anticipation for the first person to emerge.

But the wait stretched on for another two days.

「Two days later.」

The once-calm surface of the Divine Martial Blood Pool suddenly began to churn, as if something was about to burst forth.

BOOM...

A moment later, a tremendous roar echoed as the mirror-smooth surface of the Divine Martial Blood Pool bulged upward and then exploded. A torrent of crimson liquid sprayed down from the sky, like a rain of blood.

"HA HA! It’s someone! It has to be Shen Haoran! HA HA, I’ve won!" the disciple roared with laughter upon seeing the figure leap into the air. Murong Wanqing’s expression soured instantly.

However, before his laughter could die down, the figure from the sky descended, and everyone got a clear look at his face. It was Ouyang Shaoyu.

The disciple’s face fell the moment he saw it was Ouyang Shaoyu. He never imagined that Ouyang Shaoyu would be the first one out!

"What’s wrong? Not happy to see me?" Ouyang Shaoyu remarked, noticing the disciple’s change in expression.

"No, no, no! It’s a pleasure to see you, Young Master Ouyang! Why would I not want to see you!" the disciple said hurriedly, forcing a smile as Ouyang Shaoyu’s expression darkened.

Ouyang Shaoyu scanned the surroundings, his brow furrowing slightly. "Shen Haoran isn’t out yet?"

A silence fell over the surrounding disciples at his question. After a long moment, one of them answered timidly, "N-no. He’s still in the Divine Martial Blood Pool with Jian Wushuang and Xue Shitian."

BOOM! BOOM!

The words had barely left the disciple’s mouth when the Divine Martial Blood Pool erupted with two more thunderous booms. Jian Wushuang and Xue Shitian shot out from within.

"Now... only Shen Haoran is left inside," the disciple who made the bet said, his face twisting into a grimace as he saw Jian Wushuang and Xue Shitian.

"Hmph! You think we need you to point that out?" Ouyang Shaoyu’s face darkened when he heard Shen Haoran was still inside.

"Oh? Brother Shen isn’t out yet?" Jian Wushuang remarked with a faint smile as he landed, his eyes scanning the area for Shen Haoran.

"Hmph. He went so deep, he’s probably dead in there by now," Ouyang Shaoyu said coldly.

"Is that so? I’m not so sure," Jian Wushuang replied, a sharp glint in his eyes. His profound gaze seemed to pierce through the Divine Martial Blood Pool, as if he could see Shen Haoran’s figure within.

"I really don’t know where you get all that confidence from. Careful you don’t end up eating your words," Ouyang Shaoyu sneered at Jian Wushuang.

Jian Wushuang ignored Ouyang Shaoyu’s comment. Although they were both known as the Northern Domain’s Four Heroes, Jian Wushuang had never considered him an associate. He found Ouyang Shaoyu’s character utterly repulsive.

"Brother Xue, care to stay and watch?" Jian Wushuang asked, turning to Xue Shitian.

"Boring," Xue Shitian said coldly. He gave a slight bow to the Divine Martial Elder and departed.

Seeing this, Jian Wushuang shrugged helplessly. He cast one last, long look at the Divine Martial Blood Pool, a meaningful smile touching his lips, before he too left the Divine Martial Realm.

"Hmph!" With both Jian Wushuang and Xue Shitian gone, Ouyang Shaoyu felt it would be awkward to remain. He let out a cold snort and headed down the mountain as well.

After Jian Wushuang’s group had left, Han Xu stepped forward and called out to the disciple from before. "Hey, you! Don’t you forget about our bet! Get over here and call her ’Grandma’!"

At his words, the Martial Artist’s face darkened, and he looked ready to erupt.

"The Divine Martial Elder is still right here. Are you planning to go back on your word?" Han Xu threatened, gesturing toward the Elder who was standing nearby.

The Martial Artist flinched at the mention of the Divine Martial Elder. "Hmph," he said coldly. "The outcome isn’t decided yet. For all we know, Shen Haoran is already dead in there. If that’s the case, then I haven’t lost!"

"Hmph. So you won’t give up until you’re faced with the bitter end. Fine, we’ll just wait and see!" Han Xu snorted again. The crowd turned their eyes back to the Divine Martial Blood Pool once more...
