Chaos Heaven-Dominating Technique

An old man clad in Battle Armor appeared before Shen Haoran, a Silver Dragon Spear in his hand pointed straight at him. The full might of a Tier Three Spirit Marquis’s aura erupted forth.

"Hm? A Tier One Spirit Marquis?" The Guardian’s brow twitched when he saw Shen Haoran.

"Brat, this is no place for games. I won’t hold back in here. Are you sure you want to issue a challenge?" the Guardian’s cold, mechanical voice rang out.

Hearing this, Shen Haoran rolled his neck and settled into a slight crouch. "Are all you Guardians this fond of pointless chatter?" he said lightly. "If I wasn’t here to challenge you, why would I have shown up? Bring it on!"

"Hmph!" The Guardian snorted coldly at Shen Haoran’s words. He had never seen such an arrogant disciple. None of the previous challengers had been below the rank of a Tier Six Spirit Marquis, yet this brat, a mere Tier One Spirit Marquis, dared to spout such arrogant nonsense!

"Take this!"

The Guardian let out a thunderous roar. The Silver Dragon Spear in his hand whistled through the air, transforming into a dragon of Spiritual Power that lunged at Shen Haoran. Its momentum was ferocious, and the gale of Spiritual Power it generated made Shen Haoran’s robes flutter wildly.

Watching the menacing Silver Dragon Spear approach, a grin spread across Shen Haoran’s face. The Spiritual Power in his body began to surge violently. He then clenched his right fist, instantly gathering a ferocious power within it!

Shen Haoran’s right fist shot out, carrying a terrifying gale as it met the Silver Dragon Spear head-on! The instant they made contact, the Silver Dragon Spear crumbled like it was made of paper. Shen Haoran’s fist broke through with unstoppable momentum and, under the Guardian’s shocked gaze, slammed directly into his chest!

"BOOM!"

All of the terrifying power was then unleashed. The Guardian’s body was directly blasted into specks of starlight, which then merged into Shen Haoran’s body.

"Hm?" As the starlight transformed from the Guardian seeped into his body, Shen Haoran felt a pure stream of Purification Power appear in his Dantian.

’This Guardian was made of Purification Power!’ Shen Haoran was overjoyed. That surge of Purification Power had just healed a tiny crack in his Primordial Small World!

’If the Guardian on the first floor has such potent Purification Power, what about the ones on the floors above?’ Shen Haoran raised his head to look upward, a fiery glint in his eyes. He licked his lips and immediately strode toward the second floor.

At this moment, outside the Slaughter Tower, a crowd of disciples kept their eyes fixed on the red dots of light on the tower’s wall.

"Niu Ben is a beast! It’s only been half an incense stick’s time, and he’s already on the Seventh Floor!" a disciple exclaimed, staring at the flashing red dot of light on the Seventh Floor.

"Hey, that brat is still stuck on the first floor," another disciple said with contempt, looking toward the lowest level. "It’s been so long. You don’t think he died in there, do you?"

"With that kind of strength? And he dared to make a bet with Brother Niu Ben? He really doesn’t know his own limits!"

The insults from the disciples kept coming, and Murong Wanqing’s expression grew so dark it looked like storm clouds were gathering.

’Why hasn’t Brother Haoran made a move? There’s no way his strength isn’t enough to pass the first floor!’ Murong Wanqing thought, staring anxiously at the red dot of light on the first floor.

Seeing the flames in Murong Wanqing’s eyes, the disciple couldn’t help but tremble and take two involuntary steps back.

"You..." Murong Wanqing took a step forward, ready to strike, but Ling Feng held her back.

"Don’t be rash. Fighting here at the Slaughter Tower will get you punished by the Elders," Ling Feng whispered in her ear.

Hearing this, Murong Wanqing reined in her aura. Her beautiful eyes narrowed as she stared at the disciple. "Hmph. You just watch. My Brother Haoran will absolutely not lose!"

"Tch. If he wins today, I’ll call you Grandma!" the disciple said with a disdainful eye-roll at Murong Wanqing.

*SHING...*

But just as the words left his mouth, a blinding golden light flashed from the Slaughter Tower.

"Did Brother Niu Ben clear the Seventh Floor?" Seeing the golden light, the disciple whipped his head around, overjoyed. However, when he looked, he saw that the golden light hadn’t erupted from the Seventh Floor, but from the first!

"Brother Haoran is finally moving!" Murong Wanqing breathed a long sigh of relief as the red dot representing Shen Haoran appeared on the second floor.

"Tch. It took him that long just to clear the first floor. You think he can get past the second?" the disciple sneered when he saw Shen Haoran had reached the second floor.

However, no sooner had the words left his mouth than another golden light flashed on the Slaughter Tower’s second floor!

"He... he passed?" The disciple’s eyes nearly popped out of his head when he saw the golden light. He had just declared that Shen Haoran wouldn’t make it, and immediately the light flashed. The slap to the face came way too fast!

Before he could even react, the golden light on the third floor lit up!

"Hmph. Get ready to call me Grandma," Murong Wanqing said lightly, glancing at the dumbstruck disciple. She then turned her gaze back to the Sixth Floor and thought, ’That jerk, daring to make me worry like that. Just you wait until you get out. You’re going to get it!’
