Chaos Heaven-Dominating Technique

RUMBLE... RUMBLE... RUMBLE...

As Shen Haoran and Han Xu neared the Han Family, a series of rumbles echoed from the sky. Visible blasts of Powerful Qi erupted mid-air, shaking the very heavens and earth!

"That’s... Elder Bai!" Han Xu exclaimed joyfully as he made out the two figures in the sky. Elder Bai was a Spirit Emperor Powerhouse from the Murong Clan. ’With him here, the Han Family is finally saved!’

Shen Haoran also looked up at the sky. There, the figures of Elder Bai and Lan Quetian were constantly weaving past each other, unleashing powerful auras. The display was terrifying. They were truly worthy of the title of Spirit Emperor Powerhouses. The aftershocks of their battle alone were more than any ordinary person could withstand.

As expected of an expert from the Murong Clan, the power in Elder Bai’s every move was several times stronger than Lan Quetian’s. In Elder Bai’s hands, Lan Quetian was completely unable to fight back and could only struggle to hold on. His defeat was only a matter of time!

"Grandfather, where’s my grandfather!" Han Xu’s face was filled with worry. He leaped into the Han Family compound and immediately started to search everywhere.

The Han Family compound wasn’t large. A moment later, Han Xu found Han Feng. He was in a terrible state, standing ramrod straight atop a pile of corpses, drenched in blood. In front of him, Lan Sha was half-kneeling, a bowl-sized bloody hole in his chest from which blood flowed endlessly. The light of life had completely faded from his eyes.

However, Elder Li and Elder Zhang were nowhere to be seen near Han Feng. Before Elder Bai arrived, the three of them had joined forces against Lan Quetian. It seemed they had failed. Two of the three had lost their lives, leaving Han Feng all alone.

"Grandfather..." Han Xu rushed forward to support Han Feng.

"COUGH... COUGH..." Han Feng coughed violently, and mouthfuls of blood spilled from the corner of his mouth.

"Xu’er, why did you come back? Go, quickly!" Han Feng tried to push Han Xu away with all his might.

"Grandfather, Brother Shen brought me here to save you! You have to hold on!" Han Xu choked back tears, his voice thick with emotion.

"It’s no use. I took a Life-Devouring Pill. I don’t have much time left!" Han Feng gave a bitter laugh. After being gravely wounded by Lan Quetian and then cornered by Lan Sha, he had no choice but to take the Life-Devouring Pill to try and take his enemy down with him. Now, his life was fading fast.

Hearing this, Shen Haoran stepped forward to check Han Feng’s condition and could only shake his head. The meridians in Han Feng’s body had been incinerated by the Life-Devouring Pill. He was beyond saving.

"Brother Shen, this old man wants to ask a favor of you." Han Feng fought back the waves of drowsiness overtaking him and took a token from his robes, handing it to Shen Haoran. "Take this token, bring Xu’er and the remaining bloodline of my Han Family to the Celestial Spirit Sect, and give this token to their Third Elder. He will arrange for everything else. Can you do this?"

"I will do everything in my power to complete the task you’ve given me!" Shen Haoran accepted the token and nodded solemnly.

Hearing this, Han Feng smiled and nodded. He glanced at Han Xu one last time before finally closing his eyes and passing into an eternal sleep.

"No! Grandfather..." Han Xu wailed in anguish. A clap of thunder split the sky, and a torrential downpour instantly began to fall.

"I’ll kill all of you and avenge my grandfather!" A moment later, Han Xu snapped his head up, his eyes turning completely crimson. He snatched up a long saber from the ground and charged directly into the midst of the Lan Family’s Martial Artists. In an instant, blood splattered everywhere, and a murderous aura surged to the heavens!

Shen Haoran didn’t stop Han Xu. He needed an outlet for his grief right now. The grandfather who had raised him for so many years had been killed by the Lan Family. It was a debt the Lan Family naturally had to repay.

Shen Haoran turned his attention away from Han Xu. With Han Xu’s strength, none of the Lan Family guards could harm him. The most important matter now was Lan Quetian.

In the sky, Lan Quetian could finally no longer hold out against Elder Bai. He was struck by one of the elder’s palms, and his aura instantly weakened.

"Elder Bai, leave him alive!" Shen Haoran shouted. He still had questions for Lan Quetian!

Hearing this, Elder Bai’s figure flashed. He struck Lan Quetian’s dantian with tyrannical Palm Force. A terrifying amount of Spiritual Power surged forth, destroying the small world within his dantian and crippling his cultivation. Under the immense force, his body smashed violently into the ground, carving out a deep crater.

Seeing this, Shen Haoran quickly ran over and hauled Lan Quetian’s body out of the deep crater.

"Patriarch Lan, I presume?" Shen Haoran asked coldly, looking at the pale, weakened Lan Quetian.

"You... you dared to cripple my cultivation! I’ll kill you today!" Lan Quetian roared madly as he felt the Spiritual Power continuously draining from his body. However, no matter how much he struggled, he couldn’t break free from Shen Haoran’s grip.

"Enough nonsense. I have a few questions for you. You’d better answer them truthfully, or else..." Shen Haoran snorted coldly. A Fire Feather suddenly materialized in his hand, and he plunged it straight into Lan Quetian’s thigh.

"ARGH!"

The immense pain made Lan Quetian scream involuntarily, and his face turned even paler.

"I’ll ask you: did you meet a black-robed man wreathed in black qi? And even make a deal with him?" Shen Haoran asked coldly.

At these words, Lan Quetian’s expression changed drastically. He stared at Shen Haoran in utter disbelief. ’The black-robed man’s origins are mysterious, and our meeting was top secret. Besides the two of us, no one else knew about it. How could this kid know that I met that lord, let alone made a deal with him?’

Seeing Lan Quetian’s expression change so drastically, Shen Haoran knew he had guessed correctly. He had previously sensed a very familiar aura from the Lan Family’s Lan Wei, and now he felt it on Lan Quetian as well, only much denser. It was the exact same black qi as the black-robed man he had encountered in the Five Elements Sect’s Sect Secret Realm!

"Speak. Where is that black-robed man now?" Shen Haoran demanded coldly. ’Since that man appeared here, it must mean the Han Family has something he covets. And the only thing he would be interested in is the body of that black monster. Could it be that the Han Family also has a part of that monster’s body sealed away?’

At this thought, Shen Haoran’s expression changed drastically. He knew just how terrifying that black monster was. If it were to manifest in the world again, the entire Northern Domain would know no peace!

"Hmph. Don’t even think about getting a single piece of information from me!" Lan Quetian snorted and turned his head away.

"So you won’t talk, is that it?" Shen Haoran’s eyes narrowed. With a flip of his wrist, a jet-black worm appeared in his hand.

"This is a Bloodthirsty Heart-Eating Gu. It feeds on a person’s blood and heart. I wonder if Patriarch Lan has heard of it. Since you won’t talk, you can have a taste of what it feels like!" Shen Haoran sneered and shoved the Bloodthirsty Heart-Eating Gu directly into Lan Quetian’s mouth.

The moment the Bloodthirsty Heart-Eating Gu entered his mouth, it transformed into a black streak of light and burrowed directly into Lan Quetian’s body. It began to ravenously devour his blood. A heart-rending pain erupted from within, so intense that Lan Quetian wished he were dead...
