Shen Haoran looked up at the few hundred surviving disciples, a flicker of grief crossing his face. Although he hadn’t been in the Five Elements Sect for long, he had come to see this place as his home. Now, seeing his home so utterly ravaged, a burning rage ignited within him!

"Elder Huo, I’m sorry. I’m late!" Shen Haoran said gravely, stepping forward and cupping his fist.

Elder Huo was taken aback by Shen Haoran’s explosive increase in strength, but his expression quickly darkened. He sighed. "Alas, you shouldn’t have come back. This is a hopeless situation. Your return is nothing but a suicide mission!"

Hearing this, Shen Haoran took a deep breath. The killing intent in his heart, no longer suppressed, erupted from him. A frigid and violent aura instantly warped the space around him, making the other disciples feel as if they had been plunged into the Nine Netherworld. Even Elder Huo shot him a sidelong glance, startled.

"Elder Huo, I will never abandon the Sect. I once said that if those black monsters dared to harm a single one of our disciples, I would completely erase them from this world. Now, it’s time to fulfill that promise!" Shen Haoran’s voice was cold and merciless, seemingly freezing the very air. He then turned to face the pitch-black tide of Primordial Beasts below, and the Fire Spirit Black Obsidian on his body flared violently.

"You brat, what do you think you’re doing? Don’t be rash!" Elder Huo demanded, frowning at Shen Haoran’s back.

WHOOSH...

With a flick of his arm, the Black Flame Giant Ruler instantly materialized. He pointed it at the army of Primordial Beasts below. "What else? I’m going to slaughter every last one of these animals!"

"You..." Elder Huo was at a loss for words. Behind him, the disciples also stared at Shen Haoran’s back in disbelief. They had clashed with that army of Primordial Beasts and knew firsthand how tenacious they were, far beyond anything they had imagined. They felt overwhelmed fighting even one-on-one, yet Shen Haoran had just made the bold declaration to slaughter the entire herd of animals!

And yet, no one doubted him. They didn’t know why, but looking at Shen Haoran’s not-so-towering figure from behind, they felt he wasn’t just making empty boasts. For some reason, the sight of him inexplicably put their hearts at ease!

"Leader, we’ll help you!" A moment later, Zi Mo stepped forward.

"Brother Shen, us too!" Shui Ruolan, Long Zhen, and Long Mo all stepped forward. Their faces were deathly pale and etched with exhaustion, their Spiritual Power completely drained. But if their leader wasn’t afraid, how could they retreat? In an instant, the will to fight was rekindled in all of them. ’The Source Beast Group? Hmph, they’re just a bunch of animals. What’s so difficult about drawing our swords and slaughtering them?’ This was the confidence Shen Haoran had given them, the fighting spirit he had ignited. ’As long as Shen Haoran is here, what is there to fear in life or death!’ All they had to do now was fight—to fight and kill every last one of the beasts that had destroyed their home!

Shen Haoran turned and looked at his friends, their auras faint and unstable. He was deeply moved. He promptly retrieved several vials of Elixirs from his Storage Ring and tossed them over. "Take these!"

Catching the vials, everyone’s faces lit up with joy. ’Coming from Shen Haoran, they must be Top Grade Elixirs!’ Without a moment’s hesitation, they swallowed them down. The Elixirs dissolved the instant they touched their tongues, transforming into a stream of pure Energy that spread throughout their bodies. A warmth bloomed from within as their depleted Spiritual Power began to recover at an astonishing rate!

Seeing their Spiritual Power starting to recover, Shen Haoran flicked his fingers. Several wisps of black flame shot out and enveloped them. These were the Sub-fires of his Fire Spirit Black Obsidian!

Feeling the scorching heat emanating from their bodies, the group was curious. They knew the black flame was Fire Spirit Black Obsidian, and they also knew that only Fire Spirit Black Obsidian or a Celestial Fire like Long Mo’s could completely destroy these Demonized Primordial Beasts! Now, Shen Haoran had armed them all with the Sub-fires of his Fire Spirit Black Obsidian!

With that done, Shen Haoran’s gaze turned icy. He pointed his Black Flame Giant Ruler at the army of Primordial Beasts below and roared, "Today, we will slaughter these animals and appease the spirits of our fallen disciples! Kill!"

"Kill!" Zi Mo and the others roared from behind him. In a flash, the five of them vanished, transforming into five black streaks of light that shot straight toward the army of Primordial Beasts!

The five seemingly insignificant figures crashed violently into the Primordial Beast army. The next moment, a storm of Spiritual Power erupted. A single sweep of Shen Haoran’s Black Flame Giant Ruler caused several Demonized Primordial Beasts to explode. Elsewhere, Zi Mo and the others were not to be outdone. With their strength restored and armed with the Sub-fires of the Fire Spirit Black Obsidian, their combat power had soared, and they carved a path through the Primordial Beasts, keeping pace with their leader!

The five of them tore through the Primordial Beast army like a hurricane, throwing the horde into utter chaos as they vented all their pent-up fury upon the beasts! The surrounding Demonized Primordial Beasts, however, knew no fear. They only knew how to charge mindlessly, becoming just more souls reaped by the five warriors.

Atop the main peak, the disciples watched Shen Haoran’s figure below, utterly shocked. This was a slaughter, a completely one-sided slaughter. With Shen Haoran’s overwhelming combat power, these Primordial Beasts were no match for him. Every time he swung his Qilin Arm, covered in crimson patterns, dozens of Primordial Beasts perished under his fist. The sea of black flame surged, incinerating all the residual demonic energy, and the number of Primordial Beasts was decreasing at a visible rate!

"Damn it, I’m going in! If the five of them aren’t afraid, what the hell are we scared of?! Charge! Kill all these mongrels!" one disciple roared, unable to hold back any longer as he watched Shen Haoran and his companions fighting bravely.

"That’s right! We’re members of the Five Elements Sect too, and the Five Elements Sect doesn’t raise cowards! Let’s do it! The worst that can happen is death! Let’s kill these bastards first!"
