Chapter 230: The Lan Family Arrives

"Young Master, people from the Lan Family are here! They’re demanding we hand over Young Master Shen!" the guard said, too panicked to care about anything else.

"What!" Upon hearing this, Han Xu’s expression changed drastically, his face turning grim.

’I didn’t expect the Lan Family to get here so fast!’ "Brother Shen, perhaps you should hide for now?" Han Xu said in a low voice, looking at Shen Haoran.

"Hide? No need. It’s just the insignificant Lan Family. Pay them no mind. Come, let’s go meet them," Shen Haoran said nonchalantly, shaking his head.

"Alright then. Lead the way!" Seeing Shen Haoran’s confident expression, Han Xu shouted to the guard.

And so, the two of them followed the guard toward the entrance of the Han Family estate.

Outside the Han Family estate, Lan Fang and Lan Yansheng, the two Shen Haoran had injured previously, were standing behind Manager Lan Sha of the Lan Family.

"Han Ding, hand over the brat who injured my Lan Family’s Elder and Young Master. Otherwise, don’t blame the Lan Family for being merciless!" Lan Sha said coldly, glaring at Han Ding.

Hearing Shen Haoran’s mockery, Han Ding’s expression soured. He glared and said, "This is a Han Family matter. What right does an outsider like you have to speak? Now just you wait for the Lan Family’s retribution!"

"The Lan Family’s retribution?" Shen Haoran snorted coldly, his gaze shifting to the group from the Lan Family at the main gate.

"You’re the one who injured our Young Master and Elder?" Lan Sha’s eyes narrowed as he stared at Shen Haoran, a cold glint flashing within them.

"That’s right, I did," Shen Haoran said calmly, completely unfazed by the killing intent radiating from Lan Sha.

"Good, brat. In that case, you’ll be coming with us," Lan Sha said coldly.

"Come with you? Why? Who do you think you are? You tell me to go with you, and I’m supposed to just obey?" Shen Haoran shot Lan Sha a contemptuous glance and sneered.

"Brat, you’ve offended the Lan Family and you still dare to run your mouth? My Lan Family will definitely not let you off today! Uncle Sha, take him down! I’m going to pull out all the teeth in his mouth and see what else he has to say then!" Lan Yansheng shouted, pointing at Shen Haoran.
