If this was the state of those protected by the Energy Shield, the surrounding Tier One Black Spine Zergs fared far worse. They died instantly, their brains and body tissues pierced by the current, burned to a crisp.

For a moment, the entire Hive was filled with a thick, acrid smell of burning. White smoke billowed from the corpses, further obscuring everyone’s vision...
