After all, an Awakener like Lin Feng, who had skyrocketed through Upgrades, was one of a kind on Blue Star.

He was a step too slow and got bitten by a Black Spine Zerg. Fortunately, he was wearing a suit of Lv9 Red Armor that resisted the tearing Damage.

But the bone in his thigh had suffered a comminuted fracture, and the muscle tissue was completely shredded. Only the protection of the Red Armor held the skin and sinews together, allowing him to drag it along.

In one fell swoop, they had lost over a tenth of their combat strength.

For a company of just over a hundred, this was a significant blow.

In Li Ran’s opinion, they were currently only suited for fighting in open areas. They could use their high-Damage Shotguns for concentrated firepower or leverage their vehicles’ mobility to kite the Zerg Swarm and eliminate enemies on the move.
