Five minutes flew by in an instant, and Ji Wanwan reluctantly got up and stretched: "That felt good, now back to work!"

In the room, Ji Wanwan gazed at the man: "I’ll give you a chance to redeem yourself, do you want it?"

The man lifted his head in shock, thinking he had misheard. In the moment his eyes met with the girl’s, hope flickered in his ashen eyes.

Ji Wanwan bent her lips slightly: "I’m giving you a chance to survive. You will execute tasks for me, and every month, I will have someone send news of Xiao Yun and Tuantuan to you. However, before the apocalypse ends and you return to normal, you must never show yourself. Do you accept?"

The man’s expression shifted, a mix of pain and joy, and after a long moment, he exhaled deeply: "I accept!"

Ji Wanwan bent her lips in satisfaction and raised her hand, removing the Space Barrier: "Good!"

Ji Xing yelped in pain, holding his head with a wronged expression, looking to his parents for help.

Mrs. Ji laughed with a twinkle in her eye, "You little rascal, let’s see if you still act up."

Though the night was deep, the family walked together with laughter and chatter, so they didn’t feel the loneliness of the moonlit scene.

When they returned to their private space, Xia Li was already curled up on the sofa asleep.
