The intense pain made Tian Yu tremble.

He roared furiously to vent his agony, drawing a swarm of zombies toward the superpower user like a frenzy of bees and butterflies.

Lying on the ground, Xia Li suddenly shuddered.

She blinked her beautiful eyes, her fierce brows furrowing suddenly.

The mangled flesh of her abdomen began to heal, the sensation of rapid tissue regeneration causing her immense pain.

With a sob, she curled up, shaking uncontrollably.

Xu Siming, who continued to reap the zombies from midair, took in the entire situation on the battlefield.

Ji Wanwan let out a low call, draining all the energy in her body, using a duplicated Fire Superpower to deliver a powerful punch she had been charging at Baize.

Accompanied by her descending fist, an earth-shattering blaze erupted between them like a grand, dazzling fireworks display, scorching everything around them.

The blaze lasted for nearly a minute.

Zhou Kai, who had been holding his gun up high, was stunned.

He blinked his blurred eyes, staring intently at the still-burning embers, trying to spot that familiar figure within them.

As the flames gradually dissipated, two figures, one taller and one shorter, began to appear.

The taller one was charred beyond recognition.

The shorter one’s clothes were tattered, but they seemed all right.

But the next second, Zhou Kai’s breath caught.
