100\% Drop Rate: My Special Ability is Perfect Replication

The Robotic man-spider hybrid was trading blows with Gamebreaker now. If Faust had to guess, all the Pattons were capped at level 6 and 1000 combat power.

And still the Patron was dominating Gamebreaker easily.

Not only was he better in just combat. His equipment and skills were just... unfair.

He had a flail floating around him that resembled the tail of a giant lizard with armor like scales. His cloak was also a weapon. It was a spatial prison that he could trap his enemies in for around ten seconds.

The robotic armor he wore around his human torso and spider lower half was also unreasonably durable. Gamebreaker slashed him across the chest and it didn’t even scratch.

But Gamebreaker seemed to have put his Schema’s crest on the man-spider’s body. With a jerk of his hand, he sent the Patron crashing through five buildings.

"That’s Negan," Kye explained. "I don’t know too much about his background, but i know he’s a Arachne Pathfinder—basically he finds ways through the galaxy. So his Schema relates to space, and from what I’ve heard he’s rather deadly with it."

She pointed at the half of the town hall that had just imploded suddenly. "His specialty is creating Decoherence in complex bodies. Basically he puts you between two portals at the right spatial frequency and... you stop being. It’s less messier than being torn apart, but more existentially dreadful."

The system’s patch notes before the coming of the fourth wave made more sense now. Even the giving of second lives. Maybe the skills nerfed were also to make sure the Patrons weren’t too powerful.

"What is Fix’s specialty?" Faust asked, trying to answer one of his internal questions.

But Kye’s Schema read his intentions. "Most Worldbreaker have access to the Annihilation effect. It bypasses defenses, hits incorporeal enemies, and can even cut down extra lives or respawn effects. Annihilation is a terrifying thing. Unless you have a Phylectery somewhere, taking a single hit is a bad idea."

There was so much Faust didn’t know. Game knowledge helped him understand a little, but Kye was obviously far beyond them. The fact that she could cut him off from copying her Schema was already scary.

If I get to Fix or Negan, I’m copying their Schema’s instantly.

"Ok I think i’ve heard enough," Faust said, there was no more time to talk. "I know it may not seem like it, but I will seriously consider going on your show."

Kye bowed cordially. "We also provide agents for coordinating your social aspects. You can both add me as a friend and reach out to me anytime if you need help."

They both added her. No matter how weary they were of aliens, the information she provided was useful.

"Thank you, I hope to hear from you soon." With that, Kye disappeared.

"All this space nonsense is not as endearing as I thought it would be," Nirvana complained, staring at Kye’s new position in the air.

"I actually find it so fun!" Faust exclaiming. "Powerful enemies trying to destroy humanity? Alien overlords trying to take advantage of us? All of them look like prime targets to have fun with."

Nirvana smiled, drawing closer to interlock their hands. "I’m glad you’re having fun. So now what are we doing?"

The monsters from the gate were getting close. They would break through the southern gate and overwhelm the safe zone there in seconds. The three Patrons were decimating their forces and creating chaos. They had to be dealt with.

Negan was already being held back by Jason, so Fix was the obvious target. And if Faust could get that Annihilation effect...

A plan was slowly forming in his mind.

"We kill the annoying magic 8 ball first."

Nirvana pursed her lips. "What about the south? Those monsters will mess us up worse than the single-minded death ball."

Fix’s armor—Apocalypse—resemebled a Death Star now that Faust looked closer, just with four firing ports instead of one.

"The way I designed the safezones is not only for protection. It’s for movement too," Faust explained to her. "Each place is not only protected by Shield enchantments that can’t move, but also spatial enhancement to help our Schema users move people between all six safe zones."

"They’ll move non-combatants north and bring all the strongest Players to fortify the south. They still have to worry about Fix though, so we have to distract him."

Nirvana nodded and resummoned her black armor. The obsidian bone material gleamed in the moonlight. A jagged, pale bone crown appeared on her head. The crown seemed to be made from finger bones. A screaming skull was carved into its front.

On her forearm, a midnight-black bracer formed, a Jackal dagger and Goblin Mage Staff Followed.

"Aren’t you decked out?" Faust asked with a twitching eyes.

"I got the armor and crown from Sponsors," Nirvana explained. "Along with the new skil... why do you look angry? Didn’t you get anything?"

"None, Nada, zero," Faust said through clenched teeth.

"That’s impossible. Are they blind?"

Maybe they were. He might have gotten on the system’s bad side at some point. He already used the rewards from the Third wave so his stats were a lot higher already, but he was missing those special equipment, skills and quests from Sponsors.

Putting it out of mind, he summoned his own bracer.

[Gate Bracer (Silver): Provides resistance to Spatial magic. +20 Spirit. Requirements: Level 5, 100 Spirit]

It was a weaker Silver-grade equipment, which allowed its requirements to be lower. But it provided an invaluable ability.

Did the system plan this reward so I could face Negan?

The bracer was cosmic blue, dotted with silver stars and purple nebulae. There was a field around his arm which he could expand by pouring mana into the bracer.

This will do good.

Next he pulled out his second special reward.

[Summon Card (Silver): Allows you to call on a random summon with 20% of your Combat Power. Cooldown: 24hrs. The summon lasts for 12 hrs, if it is not destroyed in battle.]

It was a silver card with intricate inscriptions depicting a knight, swordsman, archer and mage with the word summon over them.

It was a reusable item. If he summoned the servant it would last twelve hours, then he would have to wait another twelve before he could resummon.

He poured mana into it and it glowed with silver light, rising from his hand and spinning in the air.

Fwoosh!

A great gust passed over the street and the light coalesced into a giant, silver knight with a giant shield and a greatsword. Its full plate armor rattled as it landed, shaking the ground.

Immediately it dropped to its knees, but Faust wasn’t focused on it. Instead he had another thought. He had been experimenting with Instance Replication a lot, but he had yet to use it on an Equipment’s effect.

Instance Replication!

Silver light bloomed once again.Faust grinned through the buffeting winds as a second silver servant appeared. It was feminine, lithe, wielding a powerful bow in its hands. The silver armor it wore was lighter, instead, white leather covered the gaps.

Both their faces were hidden by smooth, faceless helms.

So I can replicate the summoning. But how long will they last is the question...

He tried replicating it again, but it failed. One was his limit for these Summon cards for now it seemed.

Nirvana ignored the strange things he was doing, glaring at Fix The Worldbreaker. But once he was ready she turned to him.

"So here’s the plan," Faust began.
