100\% Drop Rate: My Special Ability is Perfect Replication

The hall buzzed with people talking. A waiter came by the table to serve Faust, but he would eat later.

Right now the topic was intergalactic.

"If I keep performing I will become an Olympic Knight," Jason boasted. "The position comes with a race evolution, special Schema and a special armor and weapon fit for a conqueror."

One of his lackeys laughed. "These new gods know what this village needs."

"Strong men should lead," another agreed. "Not indecisive old men."

Diego ignored the jab. Besides he had been told worse to his face; cowards speaking out the corners of their mouths were worthless.

But Faust didn’t like that. At a certain point if you didn’t place a boot on the necks of these fools they would lose control.

"I also got an offer. Guess I should lead too," Juliette said aloud, drawing annoyed glares. "I was offered a quest too, but more... sensitive. Not to be spoken of carelessly for boasting. I was also offered a transition to their race."

"Wait, the Earth gods aren’t the ones that offered you?" Jason sneered, raising his nose. "Of course you’d betray your race."

Juliette shrugged. "They call themselves the Aural council. Is it even a betrayal to humanity? If our gods reflect us, this little play we’re putting on will devolve into tribal warfare. I mean you’re already playing little king."

"Little?" Jason’s smile doesn’t reach his eyes. "Is that your idea of an insult?"

"Some things are only insults if they strike true to the heart."

"That sounds like bullshit," Faust chirped.

Jason waved him off dismissively. "This conversation is for chosen people."

Faust nodded. "I like this version of you more than the other one. The scared kid version."

"Nice try. But you know already," Jason mused. "A Race evolution means more attribute points per level. Two Schemas puts me over any other Schema user."

I have six at any given time.

"That is true," Faust murmured, thinking to himself. "But I don’t believe the system won’t leave ways for the misbegotten to grow stronger. In the end all that power is meaningless if you can’t use it."

Jason’s face wrinkles in his confusion. "What are you talking about? Use it? You think I can’t use my Schema?"

He swung his hand and randomly one boy standing on the edges of the table flew off his feet. His eyes widen with fright. Legs kicking wildly. Jason’s Iron King Schema allowed him to control anything he marked.

"Maybe your eyes don’t work. But as you can see my Schema works perfectly."

Faust turned the boy struggling in the air and frowned. Suffering the laughs of the hall. A feeling struck him to try using Jason’s Schema with Instance Replication.

No, not here. I’d give away too much. And I don’t know how the interaction will work. Might just end up ripping that kid in half.

There were only eight hours left before he could refresh his Replication slots. He would take Jason’s Schema then.

I already know how I can challenge him. His will be a straight forward fight. But I have to make him beg for his life.

That last part might not be necessary but he liked the idea. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

Jason dropped the boy he made fly with his Schema unceremoniously and Faust noticed that he knew the boy.

Oh, it’s Todd. Still getting the shit end of the stick even in another world.

He pushed Todd from his mind and remembered Nirvana. Faust let out a heavy, disappointed sigh. "Are you done Diego? I’m hungry."

The older gentleman had failed to convince Gamebreaker to join their table. He nodded, grumbling something under his bet about finding everyone that got an invite by these ’gods.’

Old Dog wasn’t playing the same game as Jason and Juliette. Faust was caught between telling him to watch out or just letting him be.

My main goal is to stir the pot. Get people angry. Telling Diego what’s happening would make things boring.

But if he realizes too late he’ll be devoured.

Telling Diego would make him too reliant on help.

Upon returning to the table he found Greg slumped over his food, snoring into his soup.

He turned to Thalia, who was drunkenly chatting with Spider. "Tell me why I shouldn’t kill this guy," he said jokingly.

Thalia turned from him to Greg, still laughing. Then she froze. Her chair was kicked back, clattering loudly, as she rushed to her feet.

"Greg. Greg! Are you alright?!"

"Relax, he’s alive," Faust shrugged. "Maybe he passed out after drinking too much."

"Greg never drinks too much," she said worriedly. She patted his face. Punched his broad back and listened to his breath. Then she cracked open one eye and studied his dilated pupils. "He’s sedated? How?"

Both their eyes landed on Faust food then the fork on the ground by Greg’s limp arms.

Faust frowned. "Did he eat anything other than my food?"

"No," Thalia said automatically. "The person that did this meant to sedate you."

Studying her eyes Faust realised she knew something else.

"You know who did it."

"N-no," Thalia lied clumsily.

"It was Nirvana."

Thalia cursed under her breath. And turned to go find Zen, but Faust grabbed her.

"Why did she do it?" He asked calmly.

Thalia wrenched her hand free. He let her go so she wouldn’t hurt herself. A furious light burned in her hazel eyes.

"Don’t act like you don’t know why, you goddamn—" she bit her tongue in her rush. Wincing, she forced herself to keep glaring. "If anything happens, this is your fault."

Faust forced down his smile. "If you want to blame me I don’t mind."

A/N: Why did no one tell me there were so many types in the last chs?! Now that I’m back home they pop up so easily on my laptop....

Anyway I mentioned this earlier but I’m locking so this ch should be locked.

But I wanted to ask again about the Harem thing. So I’ll do options.

I will wait until this newest Fl is introed till I make a decision but I will keep reminding everyone. I might do something like Dagzo did.
