He turned on the stream. "Hey, just checking in before i go for my interview. I’ll answer questions now."

It took him seeing the viewers chat about it to realise Nirvana was leaning against him. He checked the camera orientation and mentally moved it so she wouldn’t be in frame.

"Don’t mind my friend."

Immediately questions started to appear in chat. He struggled to keep up as they flew by, shooting a text to his dad in the mod chat.

Red God: Hey, thanks for the Summon card.

BlueFather: No problem. Have you eaten? Waste time talking to viewers, I will compile questions for you to answer.

Oh. He’s quick to adapt.

Faust took out some of the food he got from a gift and began to review it. Random, but very effective. His description of how the food was good and yet bland at the same time seemed engaging.

The fact that a billion people were looking at him right now made him slightly concerned about his appearance.

He was two days into a never ending fight with only one bath taken. His red hair was covered in rocks, dust, blood and some dubious looking bits he suspected were flesh.

His face—as handsome as ever—was caked in soot and dirt. His clothes, though washed earlier, were dirty again.

"If i knew they would be this many of you, i would have dunked my face in water. Or fire might be better, given how strong I am now."

He went back to talking about food, specifically the wine Diego had been providing them. Faust had no idea how they did it. He almost let it slip that he wanted to copy Sergio’s Schema but caught himself.

He paced his words until Bluefather began sending him questions to answer. Arthur, or Bluefather, also sent him some tips on how to answer and request mutes for some people he thought were ’Incendiary’.

I have to check later and make sure he isn’t over reacting.

But in the meantime, he answered.

"Yeah, I do think I could get hit by a truck and just walk it off. The truck might take more damage than me."

"Usings spells and skills feels like you have a structure or frame within your mind. For fireball, I bring the frame out of my body and fill it with mana. Then I cast. There are some nuances to it like with the core of magic Nirvana explained to me..."

"How did I do the teleport thing against the troll? Shadow Step.... I only have one method of instant travel like that," Faust lied.

"Uh... we don’t use the term girlfriend," he glanced at Nirvana to make sure she was still out.

Not long after she did wake up from the memory. She moved away from Faust looking weak and tired. But when asked, she told him she needed some time alone.

Zen and Greg also came out not long after looking equally traumatised. Faust had to admit that what happened in the memory was a bit scary.

But he was alright, so they should be sooner or later.

"The Memory Quest is going good, Lord Level," Faust answered, "We got a good number of fragments and combined them. I don’t want to reveal what we got, but I can talk about the trial."

Once he was done the chat was flying by. So many more people were actively watching now. Arthur said work had just closed on earth.

Lord Level: You’re crazy, mate. And I goddamn love it.

Dripfeed: How many repeats did you go through? Sounds brutal as hell.

Friga: A whole new world, and it still has assholes.

Lord Level: I think it’ll be important to the fifth wave, but the words make no sense.

"I have an idea of what’s going to happen," Faust said, growing more sure as he read the theories in chat.

"But yeah, I’m done for today. Interview in a few minutes. I’ll see you all once I’m out. I’ll stream most of the fifth wave I think. Thanks, bye."

He turned off the camera with a mental command and watched them chat in his absence then turned to the mod chat.

Red God: So how are you? Did anyone else get taken? Vicky? The twins? How’s earth in general?

Bluefather: We’re perfectly fine. You’re the only one that got stolen. Your cousin Marco too, but he’s in Novice Village #5231. Take care of him if they ever bring you all together. Your mom was in the chat, she said hi. The twins miss you.

Red God: Nice. How did you get all those Stream points for the gift?

Bluefather: I only managed to get 20 stream points. I used them for gambling stuff. I think it’s called Gacha. Two pulls for ten points each. Most of the rewards are worthless, but I really just wanted food or health potions for you. Is the summon card good?

Faust chuckled at the familiarity even in absurd times.

Red God: I love it. But you still have to get me something for my birthday.

Bluefather: Come back alive and I’ll get you that car you always wanted.

Red God: Dad... I don’t know if I can come back.

Or whether he even wanted to.

Bluefather: the government said you will. The system told them dungeons would open on earth and Players would return to protect us. Right after the continents started shifting.

What the heck?

He reminded his father that he didn’t mention that.

Apparently earth’s continents had shifted and remolded themselves with terrifying accuracy. People thought it was just a small earthquake, until space stations broadcasted images of the new rotations.

All landmass now formed a circle around the planet. A line cutting over massive and extremely turbulent seas. Storms rippled over the coastlines and more earthquakes came.

But the governments reassured that the earth was still adapting. In fact they had all come together to form one government called: The World Council.
