"Nope. Sorry, but alliance won’t work for us either of us.... Pretty much... Em... Look mate. I just want to be free and it feels tied down if I were to become your "ally" if you know what I mean.... So, yea, nope." – said Dance while using video call.

"And Mug pretty much said similar thing, that alliance with you may not be an good idea, considering his current circumstances."

"Hm...."

"I see." – replied ClownFrog.

"Welp, nothing can be done about it if neither of you want it."

"Well, sorry mate.... Anyway, take care." – said Dance before ending the call.

"..."

(Welp, I guess I had her with the alliance proposition.... But I guess she really doesn’t want to work with anybody.... Or maybe I’m just an problem.... Well, I’m an god damned demon lord and stuff.)

(Still, it’s not that bad.)

Sometime had passed already after a tournament.... And many things changed from the get go.

First thing first, our reputation.

Our reputation within the game had increased even more, resulting in some different things.

One of those things was the recruitment.

Since we are straight up running an empire, we need to have a LOT of players in our guild and 30 players just won’t cut it.

So, we finally did an mass recruiting.

Mass recruiting isn’t something uncommon. Some big guilds or popular guilds often do it.

For example, Champion Scales or Iron Will guilds had both had an massive recruiting, resulting in even one guild getting over 200 players instantly.

However, there are few problems with the mass recruitment of the players.

The first problem is obviously stability.

Having so many all joining up at once will cause things to get.... "Unstable" in many different ways.

Conflicts and lack of control may occur.

The second problem would be trust.

Sometimes the recruitment that wants to join your guild are pretty much... "Scumbags" that will "Steal" from you and then just run away.

Or they may try and sabotage the guild from within.

And both of these annoying ass facts can be pretty much.... "deadly".

Which is why the specific order needs to be kept as well as rules alongside some other stuff.

Reason why we didn’t do something like this before was simple, we were unstable.

Before war, during war and after war, pretty much all of them made us completely unstable.

If we were to do the mass recruitment during one of those periods, we would pretty much wreck our guild AND empire.

So, yea.... Big nope.

However, as we gained more stability we also now need more man power to handle "stuff".

So, we will be doing mass recruitment.

However, before mas recruitment, we had to change few things in our guild.

The first is the establishment of the ranking system.

Simple put, each player in the guild will be granted different tier rank.

For example:

-Me – Rank 0.

-GreyHunt, Rampage, Oron, Shri, Blueberry, Lil, Ampi – Rank 1.

-Tail, Wretch, Litle Manica, Howl – Rank 2.

-The rest are rank 3.

Since I’m main guild master I’m rank 0.

The rank below are all people that both the strongest and most influential members of the guild.

The second rank are the people like.... Well, people in charge of many different things.

And third are the rest of our main guild.

Besides 0, 1, 2 and 3 ranks, there are also 4, 5, 6 and 7 ranks.

Different ranks means different amount of authority and power.

People with 7 rank are.... Well, nobodies. They won’t have an special privileges or special authority at all.

There is also an rank 8, an "recruit" rank that pretty much is like rank 7, but you could end up getting easily kicked out. Simple put, you are guild member, but also not at the same time and the only way to become the guild member is to "prove" yourself.

By the way, this system, we didn’t came up with it.

Many large guilds had made this kind of system in order to control their members and possible find out and eliminate the "bad buds".

This system also allows to create special "titles", like the "knight capitan" or "inspector".

In the guilds you can also create special chat rooms as well. Like the tier 1 chat room where people with rank 1 can talk privately or maybe "knight" chat group where all players that works at military can have their own talk.

This ranking system got... Quiet popular among the large guilds AND it did helped them out a lot when it came down to stabilizing the massive guilds.

So pretty much we are copping other people.

However, this system can’t be made from get go, since rules implementation and stuff.

And if you want to add special functions or titles, you need to also make some things up while also granting special privileges to some other people.

Larger the guild, the longer it would take to set up this system.

Still, once it was made, the mass recruitment officially started.

And oh boy, a lot of people decided to come to our side.

There were many different type of species of players that decided to join us.

Ranging from humans, elves and dwarves, to lizardmen, orcs and unlivings.

We didn’t had any racial discrimination within our guild or empire, since good part of our empire are members of the "monster" races.

Besides the special recruits, there was also the guild recruits.

The Undefeated guild is one of the guilds that we had approached about the deal.

The talk with that guild did lasted for days and stuff... But in the end, we managed to fully recruit and merge their guild with ours, resulting in the increase of guild by over 25 players.

As for the regular recruitment, so far about 200 people had applied.... However, according to the data online, about 25% to even 40% people that applied will either decide to leave the guild or they would end up getting kicked out, so it is not like 100% of the people that had applied would really stay in the guild.

Still, this is only the start we maybe end up recruiting more and more people as the time goes by.

So, when it comes to the players, our guild is slowly growing.

Next thing to talk about would be sea.

Blueberry alongside Shri managed to fucking finally find these god damned pirates and deal with them.

And now we can rebuild our sea network and once it is done, we will be able to connect with our previous continent, opening up business with some of the kingdoms we are allied with.

However, we first needs to deal with some sea monsters that were left unattended for the long time, causing them to kind of infested some parts of the seas.

Next, relationships with different kingdoms.

It got... Well, it got improved... All expect that holy kingdom. They still see us as the threat and if anything, they are now seeing as even bigger "monsters" once our empire started stabilizing.

We had some "bandits" or "drug dealers" appearing... But by the looks of things, it was the holy kingdom doing.

They tried to harass us, but they were caught.

They were trying to make us look like "unstable and dangerous empire" .... Bastards.

Welp, I gave them back the warning by dealing with all of those bandits that we had called the "heavenly church extremist that are straight up terrorist".

This kind of pissed off the holy kingdom, but they really had no way of complaining or doing anything, since it could possible publicly expose them and reveal to the public that they were ones behind everything AND we did not lied at all, unlike them.

So, we showed them an big middle finger right in their faces.

Besides our relationship with different kingdom improving or worsening, we had also another relationship going on.

Witches.

In order to deal with the threat of the unknown organization, we had decided to form an alliance where both parties would beneficial from it.

Witches themselves will have special made estate building alongside magic tower build for them.

Next thing to discuss would be citizens.

Many of the Ex–Oin empire citizens are... Well, they are okay.

Some people are still scared and some decided to immigrate to different kingdoms, since they feared for their safety, but most of the empire citizens had stayed and were unharmed.

We didn’t do anything to the regular citizens and the only ones that really were "enslaved" were ex-soldiers or ex-nobles.

When it comes to slaves.... Well, there is an mix.

People that got turned into slaves after losing an war are called "war slaves".

War slaves can be pretty much an permanent slaves that would die as slaves.

However, some war slaves are granted some mercy, meaning that if they work X amount of time, they would be let go.

But obviously there was a lot of bastards among the slaves, like criminal nobles or soldiers, meaning that the whole process would need an careful attention.

However, thanks to the ex-princess Amelia, we were able to grant some slaves chance to get their freedom back, which did kind of improved our image and even relived some of the empire citizens, since some of their family members were turned into war slaves.

As for the "monster" citizens, they are settling nice.... Well, this is kind of overstatement.

There were conflicts left and right at start, we dealt with those conflicts between different species and calmed things down, but there are some conflicts happening from the time to time.

There is also the fact that beside some human refugees coming in, trying to settle in our empire, there are also members of the monster species that also want to have their own homes here.... But that also causes more chaos to be made, which forces us to do something.

(I mean.... I was an adventurer.... Welp.... I was?)

(Now I’m just playing an kingdom building simulation at this point.)

(Honestly, I don’t even remember when was the last time I even went hunting for fun....)

"And annoying part is that I’m straight up stuck in here...."

(If I leave for too long, things would get messy.)

(We did appointed some people to help out in different areas, but then more and more things started popping up all at once..... Meaning that there is now even more paper work than before.... We need even more people.)

(And also, there are witches.... The "representative" isn’t here yet... There is only the temporarily one.)

(According to them, the witches aren’t sure... Or more exactly, they are fighting or something?)

(Well, their stuff isn’t built yet and stuff, nor it is open to the public, so it is not like there is any problems.... For now, that is... Honestly, it would be better if they decided already who becomes the representative.)

(Right now we are producing quest for the players and empire citizens, but considering how "feral" that holy kingdom is, it wouldn’t be surprised if they would soon declare an war on us.)

[Meanwhile: Holy kingdom.]

"Tch. So, the plan had failed?" – said adult man with golden colored bear and hair.

[Pope and king of the holy kingdom – Orion Wor]

"Yes your excellency. The monster empire had found all of our agents and executed them." – said the paladin as he kneeled in front of the pope king.

"Not only that, but there are rumors that are already spreading everywhere, suggesting that it was our direct doing."

"We are suspecting that the Oin empire was behind it, but we had not secured any evidence point towards it."

"Tch."

(Everything is failing left and right?) – thought the pope king.

(Pirates, bandits and drug dealers, all of them are getting exterminated.)

(Not only that, but our agents are also reporting something about witches?!)

(Those monsters are also joining that empire?! Why!?)

(Things are progressing way too fast and are getting worse with each passing moment... We cannot stand by any longer.)

(We need to destroy that unholy empire and execute every single one of those unholy beings in the name of the heavens.)

(As much as it annoys me to admit it, their empire are strong.)

(Not only that, but that demon lord ClownFrog is way too dangerous. He even managed to slay the Hell Lord on his own.)

(We need to form an alliance that will be strong enough to completely eradicate that whole empire of monsters and cleanse these lands from their fifth!)

(And I mean those other kingdoms.... They will be also needed to be dealt with.... This entire continent needs to be untied under the banners of the heavens if we wish to survive.)
