[VRMMO] Dead One

After the battle between the Blueberry and the Dance concluded with the Dance victory, both of these players were teleported back to the tavern lobby.

"Well, that was a good- JEZUS!"

Dance turned around towards Blueberry, but as soon as she did, she saw ClownFrog standing right in front of her.

"Em... Hello?" – said Dance.

"...Hi." – said ClownFrog.

".... Are you mad because I beat Blueberry?"

"Kind off."

"Sorry boss." – said Blueberry while standing behind ClownFrog.

"Don’t worry. You did your best." – said ClownFrog towards Blueberry.

"And you." – said ClownFrog while turning back towards Dance.

"You want to fight me and I want to fight you, so let’s hope we get each other soon."

"I can even try and kill GreyHunt and Rampage if you end up facing them. But just fair warning, they won’t be going down without fight.

"Oh, you don’t worry. I will make sure that I will be the one to beat you!" – said Dance while giving evil smile.

After sometime had passed, the rest of the battles taking place in the third round had concluded, with Rampage and GreyHunt also finishing their fights with both of them emerging victorious.

And like that, the third round of the tournament ended.

Out of 16 players, only 8 survived, with 3 players being members of the Purple Hyena guild managing to get to the fourth round.

And from now on, each of the fights be concluded one by one, allowing others players to watch their matches.

As for the upcoming matches, none of the members of the Purple Hyena guild ended up drawing Dance as their opponents.

However, the unlucky 2 out of 7 chance had taken place.

[Rampage VS GreyHunt]

When the round four had started and the third match was taking place between GreyHunt and Rampage, Rampage had immediately gave up, allowing GreyHunt to take part in the fifth round.

As for the ClownFrog and Paintjob? Both of their fights ended up completely one sidedly to the point watching those fights were straight up waste of the time.

And now, only 4 people are remaining.

And now among those four remaining players: ClownFrog, GreyHunt, Dance and Pike will be two matches.

One of the biggest fight that the people had been looking for as well as the two people taking part of it were hoping to happened already would take the place.

And to make the thing more interesting, their fight would be the one that had obtained the gaze of many.

The demon lord player who commands the horde of the monsters: ClownFrog.

VS

The first legendary class user and the unstoppable painter of magic: Dance A.K.A Paintjob.

The battle against two monsters that would shake the entire game would soon happened and everybody were already eager for it.

However, before the battle would even happened, ClownFrog alongside Blueberry and some other members had a private talk regarding the Paintjob.

["So.... Question. What happened?"] – Tail – Private chat room.

["I know that Paintjob defeated you in the end, but it was also visible that half of her arm was missing alongside hand."]

["Well.... I managed to took her by surprise few times."] – Blueberry.

["When the battle started between us two, I instantly fired [Dragonewt Breath] from get go, but she was ready for it and deployed the barrier to protect herself."]

["However, I had fired a shot from my gun with the cannon ammo and managed to pierce through her damaged barrier and deal some heavy damage to her."]

["After that we fought normally, but I was gaining upper hand, forcing her to use those already use the two paints thing quiet quickly."]

["After she started using those two paints, fight instantly got much harder."]

["I was able to damage her, but so was she and if anything, each of her attacks were now hitting like trucks. I was using my enchantments and even gadgets left and right, trying to survive her two paint attacks, but even that was hard. She even almost decapitate me once if I didn’t used my tail flamethrower to cover up her vision and made her miss her attack."]

["After that, I used the chains and wrapped used them to grab the giant boulder before throwing it at her."]

["Wait, stop."] – Wretch.

["I saw you pick those boulders on the replay and I have one solid question."]

["How the hell you did that? Skills? Items?"]

["Nope. Just pure strength."] – Blueberry.

["I mean, my base strength stat is quite high. I’m one of the members in the guild with the highest strength stat."]

["She isn’t wrong and I can confirm it. She could have maybe even threw that boulder even without those chains."] – Rampage.

["Wait, really?"] – Cave.

["Yeb."] – Blueberry.

["Damn. I wasn’t expecting this."] – Wretch.

["Anyway, can I continue?"] – Blueberry.

["Before I threw that giant boulder at her, I used few of my smoke bombs to cover her view before throwing that boulder."]

["She didn’t expected that and panicked, firing a big spell that completely destroyed the boulder."]

["But while she was focused on that, I managed to get close to her, shooting her with the shotgun shots few times, dodging her attacks or blocking before rushing in with chainsaws and dealing few combo hits."]

["Honestly, I somehow was able to keep her away from drawing by not giving her any room to move at all, making her do barely attacks and just stay on defense and that allowed me to quickly land a huge blow with chainsaw, cutting her hand off."]

["However, that seemed to piss her off quiet a bit. She straight up created a large explosion that hit both me and her, but probably only damaged me since I was only one getting blown away."]

["After that I tried my best to finish her off, but then she create a smoke and then some sort of copy of herself made out of the paint before blowing me up with thunder, killing me."]

[".... Well, you still gave her run for her money, right?"] – ClownFrog.

["People often look down on you and stuff, but you are one of the strongest members of our guild."]

["And not only that, you managed to outsmart her and even managed to cut off her arm, so hey. You didn’t go down without fighting at all."]

["He is right."] – GreyHunt.

["We already knew that Paintjob will be one of the most problematic players in our path, but now we saw that she is one of the strongest players in the entire game."]

["But still, you fought back and even made her show off more of her abilities."]

["You scared her and made her panic while also being close to killing her."]

["You have proven yourselves Blueberry. Rest for now."] – GreyHunt.

(GreyHunt is right.) – though ClownFrog.

(Even though Paintjob is a monster of a person, so was the Blueberry.)

(She made her panic and forced her to show off some of her clone skill.)

(Not only that, we had obtained few good info, way better info than from the stuff we could obtained from her previous fights.)

"Why didn’t she used any skills back there?"

["BLUBERRY!"] – ClownFrog.

["Please answer me this question."]

["Did Dance used any skills that were not paint skills? Even just buffs or elemental boosting skills. Anything like that?"

["Did Dance used ANY skills beside those related to painting? Like fire magic, water magic and other stuff."]

[".... Now that you mentioned it... The only skills she was using that were not paint related was an some sort of non-elemental magic, probably an class you had to obtain my nonstandard means."]

["When I did that whole rush thing with chainsaws, she was forced to deploy some sort of barrier around herself to block few of my attacks, however the barrier itself didn’t looked like any elemental barrier. It was bit grayish and that’s it. It wasn’t elemental barrier and I did forced her to use some attacks that didn’t used brush, but all of them were non elemental attacks. She also used that flying skill we know about."]

["And? Did she used anything? Specifically the base elements. Did she even buffed herself when the preparation phase started?"] – ClownFrog.

["No.... She did not. I thought It was weird, but maybe she just activated few that didn’t had any visible effect, so I don’t know."]

"No."

"She made her panic."

"Blueberry made her panic."

"And there is no way she doesn’t-"

"!" – man slammed his hand against the table.

"GOT HER!"

(But if that is the case......Now I see it!)

(That legendary class of hers, she has a huge downside! But in exchanged she gets to wield those powers!)

(Fuck me! If that is really the case and her legendary class works like that, then what the actual fuck?! There are classes like that out there?)

The time went by, and the time had came for the first battle of the fifth round to happened. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

The battle against two monsters would soon take place, a fight between two players in the game who could be called the strongest would take place.

Players, non-players as well as the organizers of the tournament were all watching the area as both of the players teleported onto the map.

On right side was a cheerful looking girl with colorful hair and eyes, while on the left side was a giant skeleton looking dragon person.

The two people who are consider as "Monsters" among the players would be now facing off against one another.

"...So, we finally meet face to face as enemies, huh?" – said Dance.

"Pretty much." – replied ClownFrog.

"Both of us were looking forward to this, weren’t we?"

"Ohohoho! Of course we were! Especially me! I really wanted to fight you and stuff!" – said Paintjob while pointing with her brush at ClownFrog.

"But, before we fight and everything, I go to ask you one real question here."

"?"

"Go on?" – said ClownFrog.

"Well, I get the whole "Demon Lord" title the people had gave you and stuff."

"And yes, it does fit you and everything, considering that you are kind of evil guy and everything, while also destroying everything that stand in your path with either your monsters or your own power."

"But you know... Demon lord title seems quiet cringe and lame, don’t you think?"

"Hm... True." – said ClownFrog.

"I mean, everybody calls me "Demon Lord" this, "Demon Lord" that.""

"Honestly, its bit boring to just call me "Demon Lord"."

"I mean, I never called myself a demon lord and people started calling me one without realizing that."

"And they will definitely still calling me that and stuff in the future."

"But why are you asking this anyway?" – asked ClownFrog with curios look.

"Well.... How about I give you a nickname or title?" – asked Paintjob.

".... Pardon?"

"Well, I mean, I came up with my own nickname for myself, the "Paintjob" and it fits me quite well."

"It’s a simple title, but it does the trick, right?"

"...."

"True. It does fit you well as well as your whole character and fighting style." – said ClownFrog.

"So, what sort of "Special" name have you came up for me?"

"Hm...."

"Well, you are a master of the dead and monsters, while being a living person yourself."

"So how about a simple nickname as well?"

"Dead One."

"How does that sound?"

"...."

"Really? "Dead One"?" – said ClownFrog.

"Is this.... Wait...... Huh. Now that I think about it, its quite good name."

"I like it." – said ClownFrog with evil smile.

"Heh. I knew you would like it." – said Dance while looking proud at herself.

"Anyway, are you ready you bastard?"
