[VRMMO] Dead One

The current atmosphere in the lobby was.... Well, calm? But also chaotic at the same time.

People were not talking loudly or anything like that, if anything everybody was just starting at each other.

But before long that silence would get broken as soon as the timer hit zero.

[The players will be now be teleported to the battle areas where they will confront their opponents.]

As soon as the messenge popped up, the players began being teleported one by one until not a single player was left in the area.

After being teleported onto the area, the players found themselves in the wide area that was mostly a grass field, alongside few stone boulders here and there.

As soon as ClownFrog got teleported, he began looking around, scouting the area.

"...."

"Hm...."

(The area seems pretty simple.... Plain grass field.... With some giant rocks here and there.... But overall, the area seems pretty large.... I’m fine with this place.)

(As for my opponent.)

ClownFrog looked towards his opponent and saw a hooded figure standing near the wall.

"Well then, don’t disappoint me, buddy." – said ClownFrog while facing the Muffin Button.

"..."

(I’M SO FUKING DEAD!) – though Muffin Button.

[Meanwhile, on another area.]

Two people got teleported onto the map, and as soon as both players got here, they instantly looked at each other.

"...Well, well, well." – said GreyHunt.

"I wasn’t expecting to get you in the first round. Conquest."

"Hmph. Says you." – said Conquest.

"I honestly like this outcome. I will crush you and the rest of you bastards during that tournament."

"......"

"PFFFFFFF!"

"...."

"What so funny?" – said annoyed Conquest.

"N-no! Nothing... But." – said GreyHunt while laughing.

"Honestly, do you really think you can beat us? I don’t think you just realize how big of a monster our leader is, nor how big of a monsters me and the other core members are."

"So stop happing like a little bitch and instead prove it with your actions."

"You overconfidence bald headed little mister bitch."

"...."

Conquest did not said anything, but he was visible pissed off as his veins revealed themselves on his head.

"Ready up already, so I can have this over with."

[Player GreyHunt is READY.]

"...You..." – said angry Conquest.

[Player Conquest is READY.]

[Both players have declared that they are ready.]

[The countdown before the battle had started.]

"[Battle Will], [Rhino Spirit], [Lion Spirit] ......" – Conquest began casting his self-buffing skills while also putting a lion like helmet on himself.

"[Demon Spirit], [Demonic Weapon Enchantment], [Gun Out] ...." – GreyHunt also started using his self-buffing skills while also moving away to gain some distance.

With the sound of gong, the wall between the players instantly disappeared.

"[Rhino Charge]!"

Conquest made his move first, by using the [Rhino Fighter] skill, [Rhino Charge], that resulted in him being launched forward towards the GreyHunt.

In response, GreyHunt used skill [Firing Out], firing a multiple bullets his revolver that came flying towards the Conquest and hit him one after the another.

However, it did not stopped Conquest charge.

"!"

"[Leap]!"

Conquest charged at the GreyHunt, but he quickly used his skill to jump over Conquest. However as soon as GreyHunt jumped, Conquest instantly deactivated the [Rhino Charge].

"[Axe Wreck]!"

Conquest swinged his axe around, creating a massive slash wave around himself in single spin like motion.

However, when Conquest was now facing in the direction where the GreyHunt was supposals be, there was nothing more than sand like object that resembles a humanoid creature, before then dispersing.

"?!"

"[Bastard Shot]."

Conquest heard GreyHunt voice from his side, but before he could even dodge or look, he was instantly hit with a bullet enchanted with piercing effect that landed straight on his head.

However, the shot did not killed Conquest and in response he even used [Axe Haste], to quickly swing his axe around towards GreyHunt, forcing the gunman to retreat in order to dodge the attack.

"...."

"Huh... So, you can take a hit?" – said GreyHunt.

(I though he was fully focused on offence, but I guess he had some defense related classes as well.)

(He even have [Rhino Fighter] class. I wasn’t expecting him to have a tank type class on him... Maybe he isn’t an offensive focused guy, but is more like Rampage type of guy.)

"..."

(Dammit!) – though annoyed Conquest.

(What was that thing he just did before?!)

(I did hit him, but the next thing I knew, I hit a sand instead?)

(I know that those bastard were a heroes of some desert kingdom... Did he got some class from there that allows him to do that kind of tricks? I hit SOMETHING. Did he used that skill to create a dummy that would have taken hit for him or something?)

(Not only that, but that bastard can also hit quite hard. I wasn’t expecting so much damage from just pistol shot!)

"Tch."

"[Boar Rush]! [Shoulder Charge]!"

Conquest once again rushed towards GreyHunt.

"Again the same tactic?!" – said GreyHunt while aiming with his guns.

"[Demonic Gun Shot]!"

GreyHunt fired an enchanted demonic bullet towards Conquest that ended up hitting him and exploding with the demonic energy.

But yet again, that was not enough to stop Conquest charge.

"...."

GreyHunt tried to gain some distance, but as soon as he tried to, Conquest had tighten the grip on his great axe.

"[Lion Claw]!"

Conquest swinged his axe, creating a wide slash like attack that was about to hit the entire area in front of him.

However, right before the attack would hit him, the barrier of the demonic energy appeared right in front of the GreyHunt and took the attack head on.

But.

"?!"

The barrier began cracking before GreyHunt then got send flying, but he managed not to get lifted off the ground and having his feets stuck in the ground as they were dragged, resulting in GreyHunt not being knocked that far away.

"?!" – Conquest was surprised.

(W-what the?!)

"Tch."

"You knew, huh?"

"Well, it was quite obvious really." – said GreyHunt.

"It was a simple tactic. Simple, but effective."

(But I wasn’t expecting that attack though.) – though GreyHunt.

(He instantly made his attack into somewhat big AOE attack.)

(And "Lion"? A special class by the look of things.)

(Still, there is also the fact that my barrier got destroyed by that attack just now.)

(I maybe not be mage, but my [Intelligent] stat is quite high.)

(This bastard can really hit hard if he wants to.)

(Should I summon demons?)

(I want and try to beat that fuckers without relieving on them.)

This time, the one who was charging was GreyHunt, as he ran at fast speed towards Conquest.

"!" – Conquest got alarmed by the GreyHunt sudden change plans.

"Cocky, aren’t you?!" – shouted Conquest.

"[Demolishing Axe]!"

Conquest swinged his axe downwards, hitting the ground and creating a large shockwave that flew towards GreyHunt.

"[Sudden Escape]!"

GreyHunt dashed to the side, dodging the attack, but Conquest was ready for him when he escaped to the side.

"[Power Axe]!"

Conquest swinged his axe towards GreyHunt with full power.

"[Sand Lie]!"

Conquest swinged his axe, but yet again it hit nothing but sand.

"!"

(WAIT! THAT IS THE-)

Conquest knew what trick GreyHunt used, but it was too late.

GreyHunt was standing right next to Conquest with his gun [Devil Seven] that had its barrel straight up right next to his head.

And not only that, the [Devil Seven], special ability was activated, generating a powerful demonic bullet inside of the gun.

"[Demon Slave]."

GreyHunt fired a demonic shot at point blank range, hitting Conquest right in the head and dealing devastating amount of damage to the point huge chunk of his HP ended up dropping.

"!?"

"[Lion Roar]!"

Conquest roared, creating a shockwave that ended up pushing back GreyHunt, catching the gunman yet again by surprise.

(Shit!)

(I need to recover quickly!)

"[Lion Heart]!"

[You have gained HP regeneration status. You have gained increased resistance against negative effects.]

However, GreyHunt used skill [Quick Sprint] and [Demonic Run], gaining speed and running towards Conquest once again.

"NOW YOU ARE THE ONE REAPTING YOURSELF!"

(There is no way he could use that trick again.... But he is still doing that?!) – though Conquest.

(No! He is bluffing!)

(He wants me to panic and make a mistake!)

"[Devastating Axe]!"

Conquest used his [Great Axe User] skill once again, swinging his axe that was enchanted with pure power towards GreyHunt.

Conquest was right.

GreyHunt already used both his [Sand Lie] and the [Sand Dummy].

However, GreyHunt still had some cards up his sleeve.

"[Devil Blink]."

Conquest swinged his axe, but instead of hitting GreyHunt, he a demonic energy body that resembles him.

[Demonic Paladin] skill.

[Devil Blink]

[For extremely short amount of time become completely immune to the [Physical Attacks], but be unable to take any action, including usings skills, moving and attacking.]

"?!"

(OH SHIT!)

(The fuking forgotten that the [Demon Paladin] have this thing!)

"[Devil Foot]!"

GreyHunt closed the distance even more between the two before then suddenly extending a sword like weapon from his gauntlet over his hand.

"[Devil Blade]!"

GreyHunt swinged with his sword and stabbed the Conquest right in the neck with his blade.

"?!"

(A SWORD?!)

"What with that surprised look?" – asked GreyHunt.

"People all say that my main weapon are guns."

"But everybody is keep forgetting one thing."

"That I’m quite good at handling swords as well."

"!"

"BASTARD!"

Conquest lifted his axe in the air, but before he could even swing it, GreyHunt launched his second arm as well as the second sword blade that extended from his gauntlet.

The blade pierced right through Conquest cheeks, making the blade stick through his mouth from both sides.

But that wasn’t the end.

His second arm that had pierced him was holding a gun that was straight up next to his head once again.

However, Conquest did not gave up and began swinging his axe down wards with his right hand.

"[Assassin Pistole]."

GreyHunt pulled the trigger of his gun, firing a shot directly aimed at Conquest brain.

The shot had no way of not hitting and it ended up with Conquest having taken that kind of deadly shot, right in the head as his eyes got wide open.

"So, you are the guild master of the Red Lions? Pathetic." – said GreyHunt.
