True Solution of the Sword Dao

Images flashed through Lin Fei’s mind.

"Jiu’er...."

So, when the final battle came, and Yan Shi was the only one left of the Flying Swallow Clan. He stood in front of Jiu’er with the Longsword Ring, his gaze calm. Even though Jiu’er had poisoned him with the most lethal poison she could find, he had no intention of uncovering the truth.

When Yan Shi was severely injured and on the brink of death, when the invading Ancestors were repelled and dared not approach,

Jiu’er ultimately couldn’t bear the pain of her inner conflict and walked into the raging flames with Yan Shi. They embraced and turned to ashes.

This was the life of Yan Shi.

Only now did Lin Fei understand why the Yan Jiu he had seen before, was so different in temperament from the Jiu’er he saw later.

As it turned out, they were two different people.

Yan Jiu was cold, only showing affection for Yan Shi, yet never gentle. She always pushed Yan Shi into practicing swordsmanship.

But Jiu’er had been lively and cheerful from the start, lovable and intelligent. She was docile and accommodating to Yan Shi.

"Which deacon led you?" Instead of responding to his question, Delisman asked another.

"It was Lady Maria."

"Maria? I see..." Delisman nodded. "Have you heard of the legendary Flying Swallow Clan?"

"The Flying Swallow Clan?" A strange look flashed in Yan Qiao’s eyes. "Are you talking about... that legend from Asia, the Flying Swallow Clan?"

"Your swordsmanship, it comes from the Flying Swallow Clan, doesn’t it?" Daisy asked.

"Lady Daisy..." Yan Qiao’s forehead started to sweat slightly, and his grip on the hilt of his sword tightened.
