Solomon City.

Three police cars squeezed together, exploding with a loud boom, flames reaching for the sky and turning the surroundings a fiery red.

Griffin strolled leisurely down the middle of the street, as if on a leisurely afternoon walk.

Beneath his feet lay scattered limbs and torn bodies, exceptionally bloody. The burning flames from the explosion were right beside him. The scorching heat intermittently assaulted everything around, with the flames at their center, making the nearby storefronts, walls, and vehicles somewhat charred.

Griffin seemed unaffected. He lifted his head to watch the white snowflakes that slowly descended from the sky.

"He has already started. How are our preparations coming along?"

"All is ready," the Black Flame Demon Lord responded at his side. "As long as you construct my Tower of Black Smoke, our expansion will be much faster than his."

Griffin nodded. "Certainly, after all, we hold much more inherited knowledge than he does. However, it seems that we are the only two left with the mark of the world’s original masters. To think that the Origin, the ancient bloodline that once ruled everything, has dwindled to only two Demon Kings, how pitiful..." A trace of emotion showed on his face.

"Even if there are only two of us, we are still the strongest clan! Without any doubt," the Black Flame Demon Lord laughed with a sneer. The man respectfully replied, "Minister Ileana urged her team through the night, without a minute’s delay."

"Begin construction immediately, and extend my thanks to Ileana. She really has worked hard these years," Griffin said gently.

"Yes."

Amidst the swirling snow.

In the center of Solomon City, at the central city square.

Hundreds of people formed a large circle, all releasing strands of golden chains, converging toward a point in the middle.

A multitude of golden threads densely woven into a sphere, congregating over the head of a person at the very center, where ice formed into a human head-sized golden sphere.

"Begin construction!" the person at the center shouted.

No sooner had the words left his mouth,

Hummm...

The ground started to shake, everything trembling with the earth’s quivering.

In the center square, buildings, cars, bodies, and even the water in the central fountain all shook violently. Only the golden threads and the hundred or so people remained motionless. They continued to steadily maintain the golden chains.

Seeing this, the person at the center clasped his hands together, then, as he spread them apart again, he held a small black seed.

He gently tossed the seed.

The black seed fell straight down, piercing into the cement ground with a hiss, disappearing from view.

In no time, a black sapling burst forth from the cement with a crack, growing rapidly to over a man’s height, morphing into a twisted black tree.

With a boom,

The tree burst into flame on its own, turning into a ball of black fire and emitting thick smoke.

The intense heat forced the man at the center to retreat continuously.

"Increase the energy!!" he bellowed, then turned and ran.

Upon hearing this, the others around him tensed, channeling even more strength from their bodies.

In the loud humming, all the golden chains doubled in thickness.

Great amounts of golden light traveled along the chains to the middle, the golden sphere growing larger and larger, suspended right above the black fire tree.

Before long, as the size of the golden sphere increased, it finally made contact with the black flames below.

With a boom, the black fire instantly spread over the golden sphere and then, following the hundreds of golden chains, separated and extended along them, setting all the chains ablaze with black flames.

The hundred people, along with the golden sphere at the center, were engulfed by black fire in the blink of an eye.

No one cried out in pain; each person’s expression remained unchanged, still maintaining the golden threads as if the black fire had no effect on them.

The hundred people and the central black fire sphere formed a large black, high-temperature net. Heat waves surged skyward, black smoke billowing.

The entire central city square was reduced to a sea of flames.

Above the square, the figure of Griffin slowly materialized.

He looked down at the changes below.

"The timing is almost right," he said.

"Mm."

A multitude of black smoke coalesced beside him, forming a giant human face with two horns on its head and a pair of wings where its ears should be.

"Heh!!!"

The face gently exhaled, and a black diamond-shaped crystal flew out from its mouth, landing in Griffin’s hand.

With a roar, black fire engulfed Griffin’s entire body. Above the chain, he transformed into a sphere of black flames.

The black flames above and below quickly merged as one, forming a tall pillar of fire.

Waves of heat spread everywhere, and a large amount of black smoke shot up into the sky.

The previously fluttering snowflakes suddenly became smaller and sparser.

The clouds in the sky grew darker and more ominous. A massive amount of black smoke joined the clouds, turning them into dark clouds.

Beneath it, the ground shook more violently.

A conical pillar slowly arched up from the ground, growing taller and larger, from a little over one meter it rapidly grew, two meters, three meters, ten meters, twenty meters, one hundred meters...

The black conical pillar elongated more swiftly, piercing through the space behind Griffin and extending into the high sky, eventually reaching around a thousand meters high before its growth slowly stagnated.

The entire black cone towered into the clouds and was extremely conspicuous amidst Solomon City, standing out like a crane among chickens. All surrounding buildings paled in comparison to it.

The tremors of the earth gradually calmed down.

Griffin looked up at the sharp tip above.

The giant face made of black smoke chuckled twice.

"Of course, every Origin Master has their own method for quickly demonizing an entire species, and for those of us with fiery origins, the best method is to build the Tower of Black Smoke. This smoke will join the clouds with the buoyancy of the air and then enter the atmospheric circulation. Silently, this method can demonize every creature on the entire planet. Coupled with their bloodline’s ancient combat methods, these high-ranking monsters represented the strongest force Lin Fei had newly acquired.

And like the warriors of the Sword Canon, they were absolutely loyal to Lin Fei.

Their lives and even their souls were entrusted to Lin Fei; if anything happened to him, they would not be able to continue living.

"You have a way?"

Ning Que took a couple of steps forward, approaching Lin Fei.

"I can’t directly create high-ranking monsters or B-grade strongholds for you, but I can help you not to be too much weaker than that fellow there."

Lin Fei was delighted but didn’t speak; he simply watched Ning Que, waiting for him to continue.

Ning Que smiled slightly and extended his hand, palm open. Silver characters emerged from thin air, slowly rotating in his palm to form a cylinder.
