Yu Xuan was much easier to find when compared to Damian and Draco. The only reason why he had gone to find Li Jun’s family first was because he thought Li Jun would be with them. While he was looking through the family’s recent movements, Lu Anu walked into his cabin and said, "Have you seen this?"

He looked at the floating screen and his eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. Lu Anu wasn’t expecting this reaction. She thought Yu Wen would be upset, but to her surprise, he was happy. Her head tilted slightly, she said, "I thought you would be mad about this... You are trending, and they are all making fun of you."

She knew what he was like when it came to his reputation. Something like this should piss him off. Yu Wen said, "That’s his retaliation."

Lu Anu was even more confused. She asked, "Who? Li Jun?" Yu Wen nodded, looking so happy like he had won the lottery.

Looking at the look on her son’s face, she chuckled and whispered, "You are done for." Li Jun had snatched his heart and soul, and her silly son hadn’t even realized how deep he was in.

Yu Wen didn’t hear what she said, so he asked, "I didn’t hear that."

She sat down next to him and said, "It’s not important. So how do you know he is the one who did this?" She could tell there was a juicy story behind this video, so she was interested. She wished she had some watermelon seeds to crack while listening to the gossip.

Yu Wen’s ears felt a little hot thinking that Li Jun would still be willing to send him a message. Granted, he was probably mad at him when he had this uploaded, but he had his attention. It didn’t matter if it was good or bad. It was attention, nonetheless.

"He um... he hacked my self-driving system and changed the coordinates to the red-light district years back," he explained, a little embarrassed to tell the story.

Lu Anu chuckled before saying, "Is that why you don’t use the self-driving feature anymore?" Yes, she had noticed, but he was so tight-lipped about it when she asked. She looked calm on the surface, but internally, she was kicking her feet while giggling like a little schoolgirl. This tit for tat seemed like flirting to her.

"Yeah, I was afraid he would do it again," he replied before biting his lip in frustration. He was frustrated with himself. If only he had known the truth earlier. The two of them might have been inseparable by now.

She could see the frustration written all over his face. She didn’t want him dwelling on the negative, afraid it would drag him back into self‑loathing and depression. "So, since he wasn’t on Nox, what’s our next plan? How are we going to find him?"

His spirits lifted, he began to share with her his next plan. When she heard that he was looking for Yu Xuan, she asked, "Isn’t he loyal to him? He would never sell him out."

Yu Wen smiled and said, "I just need to keep him long enough for me to infiltrate his phone." Lu Anu nodded her head, finding this plan feasible. Li Jun only had a few people he talked to, and Yu Xuan would definitely call him later to tell him that Yu Wen interrogated him. When that happens, Yu Wen will be ready to track Li Jun’s location.

Three days later, Yu Wen was sitting in a hovercar with his mother in the passenger seat. She had a bag full of snacks and kept offering them to him. Yu Wen regretted bringing her along. He had told her to stay at the hotel, but she stubbornly refused. He obviously couldn’t win against her, so he could only bring her along.

"You only came here just to eat, didn’t you?" he said as she opened a chocolate bar.

Lu Anu said, "Waiting in the car makes me hungry. Do you want some?" offering him one.

"No, mum, stop. I told you I am not hungry," he said with a sigh. She didn’t mind his attitude. In fact, this was the most fun she had had with her son. Who knows if she would ever have an opportunity like this again?

After taking a bite, she asked, "You didn’t tell me how it went with Li Jun’s family when you met. Did you do what I said?"

Yu Wen looked at her and asked, "What do you think?" She shouldn’t have bothered asking. With both their terrible tempers, they were bound to fight on-site.

"That’s his family. If you can’t get along with them, he might not give you a chance," she said, about to give him a long ass lecture. Just then, Yu Xuan walked out of the nightclub with a young woman in his arms. The two of them were laughing and cuddling, acting all lovey-dovey.

Eager to get out of this lecture, he opened the car door and said, "I am going to grab him."

Lu Anu was befuddled. She asked, "Just like that? With witnesses?"

"Don’t worry, he will come willingly," he said before closing the door. Yu Xuan was busy kissing the woman’s lips, his hands all over her waist. She was chuckling and leaning into the kiss like she wanted to eat him on the spot.

Yu Wen cleared his throat, and the pair of love birds separated. Yu Xuan was about to cuss him out, but when he saw who it was, his heart dropped. "What the fuck are you doing here?" he asked angrily.

Yu Wen said, "Does your mother know that you are here, eating her face off?" All these years, he had made it a point to know Li Jun and his associates. He wanted to know their weaknesses so he could exploit them. Yan Jia had no weaknesses, but Yu Xuan had one, and that was his fear of his mother.

"How about I send her a video of you two making out. Maybe she would invite her over and meet her future daughter-in-law," he said, and Yu Xuan’s face turned pale. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"You!..." he gave the woman an apologetic smile and gestured to Yu Wen to step aside with him. As soon as they were out of earshot, he asked, "What do you want?" through gritted teeth.

Yu Wen said, "Come with me. We need to talk."
