Yu Xuan didn’t mince any words. In an unfriendly tone, he asked, "General, to what do we owe the pleasure?" His expression clearly expressed that he wasn’t welcome here. Yu Wen, however, couldn’t care less about him. He was looking at Li Jun and the beautiful woman sitting on his lap.

Last time it was another young woman, right after that he went to the orgy club and now it was a different woman and they were even sitting on his lap. Yu Wen was disgusted by his lecherous behavior. How many women had been ruined by this freak?

He nudged his head, gesturing for her to take a hike. The young woman was reluctant. She wrapped her arms around his neck, expressing her displeasure but before she could get comfortable, Li Jun grabbed her wrist. The message was clear.

Knowing she couldn’t push her luck, she said, "You have my number, call me," in a coquettish tone before walking away. While passing Yu Wen, she gave him a fierce glare, expressing her displeasure.

Yu Wen said, "Let’s talk...," he glanced at Yu Xuan and added, "Alone."

A faint smile graced Li Jun’s lips as he got up. Yu Xuan wasn’t happy leaving these two alone. Last time they fought, Li Jun was hurt and he had to take back shots.

Yu Xuan said, "Your highness," as he got up too but Li Jun raised his hand to stop him.

"No one should disturb us," he said and walked away, moving with deliberate ease and a relaxed posture. Yu Wen followed behind him. His brow twitched when he saw the faint jagged scars on Li Jun’s back.

From the looks of it, the injuries must have been deep when they were inflicted. His curiosity was fleeting. That’s because the heat in his chest had intensified and was spreading to his stomach and neck.

They entered the elevator by the terrace and when they stepped in, Li Jun’s brow arched. Under the bright light, Yu Wen was sweating profusely and his face flushed slightly. Li Jun didn’t want to ask. He could give two shits about him but he also thought it would be a problem if the leader of Red Valkyrie died in his club.

As the elevator went down, he asked, "Are you okay?"

Yu Wen tugged at his collar irritably and in a hoarse voice, he said, "I am fine." He didn’t even realize that his voice was so raspy when he spoke.

Li Jun said, "Alright, just don’t die in my club," before stepping out of the elevator. Yu Wen took a step forward and he felt dizzy for a second. His steps faltered but he managed to steady himself.

"Are you coming?" he heard Li Jun ask ahead of him. He stepped out of the elevator and caught up with him. Li Jun led him to an empty private room and said, "Take a seat."

Yu Wen gritted his teeth and replied, "No need."

Li Jun, who was bent over taking out bottled water from the mini fridge, replied, "As you wish." As he moved, the muscles under his skin contracted and relaxed.

Yu Wen’s gaze trailed down to his perky butt that looked like it would be nice to touch and squeeze. He swallowed his Adam’s apple rippling under his skin.

Realizing what he was thinking, Yu Wen looked away, wondering what the fuck was wrong with him. He had always been indifferent when it came to sexual desires. Even looking at a stunning beauty with their clothes off, he felt nothing. Yet here he was, actually itching to touch Li Jun’s ass.

Li Jun closed the fridge door and walked over, handing him a bottle of water. Yu Wen just looked at the bottle for a second, refusing to take it. In fact, he was looking past the bottle.

When Li Jun’s chest rose and fell, the movements drew attention to the way his abdominal muscles moved beneath the skin. A drop of sweat trailed down his chest to the grooves and ridges of his abs.

Yu Wen followed the droplet in a daze. His lips parted, the desire to lean forward and lick that droplet with his tongue growing intense. Li Jun’s lips curved into that infuriating half-smile that he fantasized about wiping off his face countless times.

But unlike before, this time he was wondering what those lips would feel like pressed on his. He clenched his fist hard, the pain keeping him sane.

Li Jun twisted the cap and said, "See, it’s unopened. If I was going to poison you, I wouldn’t do it here." He leaned his head back and without the bottle touching his lips, he poured water into his mouth.

His Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed with a few droplets dripping down the corner of his lips. He was unaware that his actions were incredibly seductive.

He wiped his lips with the back of his hand and handed the bottle to him. Yu Wen didn’t want to accept it but his throat was parched and he was desperate to quench the fire raging inside him.

He took the bottle from him and their fingers lightly brushed against each other. Unlike when his fingers touched Li Yu, there was a reaction. It was as though an electric current shot through his body, leaving his mind in a haze.

He moved as far away as possible from Li Jun and asked, "Did you kill Lorino?" He raised his hand to drink but as though hesitant, he stopped for a second before taking a sip.

Li Jun slumped into the couch and scoffed. "Are you serious?" he asked, finding it incredible. The first person Yu Wen came to find was him. He didn’t know whether to be flattered or offended.

He scratched the side of his nose with his thumb and said, "I have nothing to do with it. Now that you have your answer, show yourself out. I have guests waiting for me." It was as though he was saying that this discussion is over. He got up to leave when Yu Wen suddenly lunged forward, shoving his body against the wall with his forearm pressed on his neck.
