Third Person’s POV:

“The fear of losing you today made me realize something” Riven said while tightening his grip on her hands like someone was trying to steal her.

Her heartbeat increased in an instant.

“I think... I think I am in love with you, Giselle. I don’t know how it happened and when it happened, but I don’t think I will be able to live without you anymore”, Riven said, and for the first time, there were so many emotions on his face that Giselle could mistake him for Kevin or Stefan, even after looking at him straight.

“I love you too, Riven! I thought I was angry and I don’t like you as my mate, but deep inside, my heart always craves for you. I felt my heart would burst open and come out of my chest when you attacked the guy who passed comment on me today” Giselle started confessing her true feelings right away.

“I hate the thought of you with Erica! I cried when I saw you today walking towards the forest talking with her on the phone. I wanted to rip her hands apart when she touched you today. I wanted to....” Before Giselle could speak another word, Riven crashed his lips on hers.

He didn’t waste time and kissed her passionately.

Giselle was astonished for a moment. She was expecting a conversation but she never expected him to initiate a passionate kiss like this.

She thought he might have lost interest in her just like Tyler did in the past, but here, the cold Riven was kissing her like there is no tomorrow. His craving and hunger for Giselle was completely evident by the way his lips were hungrily moving over hers. She felt herself melting in his arms.

Riven was confused as to why Giselle wasn’t kissing him back or if he had made a mistake by kissing her without her permission. He was about to move away when Giselle wrapped her hands around his neck and kissed him back with equal craving and hunger.

Their lips were moving in a perfectly needy rhythm. Riven wrapped his hands around her waist and made her sit on his lap. He made sure their bodies were pressed together tightly and there was no space between them even for air to pass.

She was waiting this whole time for Riven to accept her, love her and cherish her the way a mate deserves. And today, Riven was finally doing everything that she wanted.

I was scared that I had made a mistake by kissing her all of a sudden, but when she kissed me back with the same intensity, I made a deep sigh of relief.

I held her cheek with one hand and my other hand was constantly wrapped around her waist to keep her closer. She is mine!

I kissed her fiercely to show her how much I needed her. I know I was a jerk at first, but I wanted to show I loved her.

To deepen the kiss, I pinched her waist gently and Giselle gasped in response. I shoved my entire tongue in her mouth and deepened the kiss. I started exploring her mouth right away. She tasted so sweet. She is the sweetest thing I have tasted so far. I didn’t know I had that much for her. I was an idiot to ignore her at first.

I was exploring every corner of her mouth like I had found a long lost treasure. Giselle held the back of my head and deepened the kiss even more. I was glad that she craves for as much.

Our tongues started to fight for dominance. Today, I wanted to show her how much I wanted her, hence, I didn’t let her win. I kissed her with more passion, I dominated her in every possible way.

A delicate moan left her mouth when I nibbled softly on her bottom lip.
