My Triplet Alpha Stepbrother Mates

Riven’s POV:

“Of course! I can’t just let her steal you!” She shouted and grabbed my collar.

“She is not stealing me, I am already hers!” I growled in rage, my cold aura surrounded us.

I removed her hands with a strong jerking movement. She was beyond taken aback by my continuous rejection.

I controlled my anger because I was scared if I let my animal take control, I would end up hurting Erica. I never attacked women and there was a time when Erica was the most important woman in my life. She gave me the comfort I needed. Just thinking about that time, I composed myself.

“Listen to me carefully, Erica. Giselle is my mate. If you do anything to hurt her in any way, I will forget that we had any kind of relationship in the past” I said in an ice cold tone while looking straight into her eyes.

“How can you do this to me, Riven? You promised me that we were going to be together forever and you would reject your mate for me!” Erica said in a pleading tone while holding my shoulders.

In normal conditions, my heart would have been melted by her words long back, but today, her words as well as her tears had no effect on my icy heart.

All I could think about was Giselle’s tears and her face when she saw Erica in front of her. I wanted to go back to her as soon as possible to explain everything to her and avoid any misunderstanding, but I knew I needed to take care of Erica first.

“I was fifteen at that time, Erica! My naïve brain didn’t know what was waiting for me in the future. You know why I broke up with you five months back and didn’t come back?” I asked in a hopeful tone that she might be knowing the real and logical reason behind my actions.

But all my hopes were shattered into a million pieces within a second, when she shook her head.

“Because you are not my mate! You turned eighteen five months back and I confirmed it. I broke up with you one week after your birthday because I didn’t want to break your heart on your birthday”. I told her the truth and her eyes widened.

“We had an agreement four years back, Erica. Do you remember it?” I asked again with hope.

“No, I don’t!” She replied hurriedly, but the anger in her voice was evident that she remembered it perfectly.

“I told you when I turned eighteen that when you turn eighteen and we are not each other’s mate, we are going to break up as soon as we can so that we don’t have to go through much pain. I can’t stay with you anymore, Erica. I am breaking up with you” I said in a plain voice.

There was a hint of pain I felt in my heart but more than that, weirdly enough, I was feeling relieved after I said it.

“You can’t do this with me, Riven. That girl is your stepsister! How can you be with your stepsister? Are you that modern?” Erica asked with a disappointed expression.

“Yes, I am that modern and so is Giselle, my brothers and our parents, as well as our packs! Everyone has accepted her, including me. I am not going to cheat on her. It’s better that you leave now and don’t come back”, I groaned in anger.

“Don’t do this, Riven. I love you” She said in a pleading tone while holding my hands and trying to intertwin our fingers, but I didn’t let her and moved away.

“I am sorry, Erica. I can’t give you false hope. Please forgive and forget me”, I said while taking a step back.

“You won’t be happy with her after breaking my heart like this”, Erica shouted and scratched my hand with her claws in attempt to stop me.

I saw the blood flowing through my hands and looked at her with icy gazes.

“I am sorry, I didn’t mean to...” she began to apologize the moment she saw the blood flowing through my hand, but I interrupted her.

“You can do whatever you want with me, but if you even touch a single strand of Giselle’s hair, you will see my wrath! I am not kidding, Erica. I will destroy you!” I roared in anger, using my Alpha aura on her for the first time.

She was stunned, she took a few steps back in shock and fear.

“I hate you, Riven”, she screamed from behind.

I didn’t see her face when she said it, as I had already turned and was on my way towards the house.

“Hope you suffer as much as I suffer!” She shouted from behind again.

Giselle’s POV:

“Did someone tell you?” Stefan asked in astonishment.

“Was it Caleb?” As always, Smart Kevin guessed it right.

“It doesn’t matter if I know it or not. What matters is that you guys are not ready to tell me yet!” I said in a low voice.

“I am sorry, Giselle. I truly am, but I was told not to tell you anything about Riven’s condition”, Stefan said in a pleading tone.

“Riven said he would tell you everything himself once he is comfortable with you and trust you completely”, Kevin explained Riven’s condition to me calmly.

“He trusts me enough to sleep with me but he doesn’t trust me enough to tell me the truth?” I asked in fury, my blood started to boil even more when I heard my own statement.

“Well, before coming here. He was not even ready to sleep with you either. We were so shocked when he said he ate you that day. He never accepts people this easily”, Stefan replied in a shocked tone.

“Do you think I will be able to trust you guys now?” I asked, looking in their eyes one by one.

“What if we tell you the truth now?” Stefan asked hurriedly.

Honestly, it looked like they were really regretting their life choices and were ready to tell me the truth, although I knew everything already.

Before I could deny it, the door of my room opened and the culprit of the day entered my room with an emotionless face.

“RIVEN!”
