My Triplet Alpha Stepbrother Mates

Riven’s POV:

“We already know that, Dad”, Caleb replied in a calm tone. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

As a response to Caleb’s calm reply, came a loud shout from the other side.

“HOW?”

“That imposter has escaped, and Riven has already solved the theory for us. Someone also called Stefan. It is a whole mess”, Caleb replied in a frustrated voice.

“What? Who called Stefan?” Dad asked in an agitated tone.

“I will explain everything to you after I come home. Increase the security at our pack house. Riven and Kevin are going for their rescue”, Caleb informed him.

I nodded when he looked at me, showing him that he was doing the right thing, and he had a deep sigh of relief.

“Okay, come home soon” Dad replied plainly.

Caleb disconnected the call and turned towards us before saying, “Please take care of you two and Stefan and Giselle as well. I am leaving for the pack house”

“Okay, you, too, take care of everyone there, little one”, I patted his head.

While I was talking with Caleb, my eyes fell on Kevin, who was busy with his cell phone the entire time Caleb was talking with our father.

“What are you doing?” I asked curiously.

“I tried calling Stefan, to tell him everything, but he is not receiving the call!” Kevin said frustratedly.

“Try again” I replied plainly.

“It’s Stefan, Riven! As usual, his cell phone must be on silent mode”, Kevin replied with anger.

“Darn, this guy! He is not even Casanova anymore, who does he need to avoid now?” I groaned with an eye roll.

“Wait, I will call Giselle. She always receives calls in one ring”, Caleb said, and called her right away.

But soon, his facial expression changed completely. I observed hope fading away from his face.

“What happened?” Kevin and I asked in unison.

“Her cell phone is switched off!” Caleb replied with eyes filled with fear.

“WHAT!!!”

Stefan’s POV:

I kept my cell phone inside my pocket again after talking with Riven.

I hope they get to the hospital on time. Giselle must be really worried about her mother. If all of her mates were there for her, she would feel better.

Father will also be really anxious. He loves Vera so much and, after meeting Giselle, I can understand his feelings for Vera.

I thought this was going to be a playful week but things are tangling up more and more, and I am unable to solve it!

I glanced at Giselle, who looked a bit more tense than she had sat in the car earlier. Maybe the more closer we are getting to our destination, her anxiety is increasing by each second.

“Don’t worry, Giselle. Vera will be fine. We will reach there soon” I said in a reassuring tone while holding her hand.

“Yeah, she will be!” She replied hurriedly.

She was still uneasy even after I held her hand and tried to calm her down. Something like that has never happened before.

I noticed something weird while observing her body language. She looked a bit too uncomfortable and she was looking behind at intervals with worried expressions.

“What happened, Giselle?” I couldn’t help but ask.

“Uhh? Stefan..! Don’t get me wrong, but I think.... That red truck. It’s... it’s been following us.. since we.. left the lake house” She replied, she even stuttered while talking.

“What? Are you trying to say that red truck is tailing us?” I asked in astonishment.

“Yes, I ... I mean, no! I mean, I don’t know”, she replied, baffled.

“What are you trying to convey, my love?” I asked in confusion.

My headache is already going crazy and here, the love of my life wants to play ‘solve the riddle’ with me?

“I wanted to say is, I feel like it’s been tailing us, but I could be wrong”. She replied in a muddled tone, she was still uneasy.

“Okay, let’s see” I replied, I needed to check her theory.

“What do you mean by ‘let’s see’?” She asked with a horrified expression.

If we were not in this situation, I would have kissed her by now. How can she look so cute? Who gave her permission to look this ethereal while being scared?

“I need to confirm if your theory is wrong or right”, I replied in a casual tone.

“And how are we going to do that?” she asked in a shaking voice.

“Leave that to me” I replied with a small smile.

I changed the lane to see if the truck was actually following us and I was surprised to see the truck also changed the lane behind us.

I changed the lane again and also increased the speed for the final confirmation and, as I rightly guessed, the truck increased the speed as well and changed the lane again with us.

“SH*T!” I cursed under my breath but Giselle heard it.

“Is there something wrong? Why did you increase the speed? That truck changed the lane with us! Should I call the police, Stef?” She said everything in one breath, so that I couldn’t recollect my own thoughts.

“Wait a minute!” I said to calm my head. I needed to think straight to get out of this situation!

“Or maybe I am mistaken. Maybe that truck driver is also in an emergency just like us, hence, he is following our route. What do you think, Stef?” She asked in an innocent tone.

I can’t even scold her if she looks at me like this!

“Giselle, baby, that rascal is driving that damn truck like a bloody sports car at the moment!” I said, looking at the truck from the rear-view mirror.

“Then what are you waiting for? Increase the damn speed!”
