Third Person’s POV:

“What is it?” He straightened up the crumbled paper and read the contents.

The corner of his lip twitched into a smirk, “Do you really think you can hide this from me forever, Ira?”

He folded the paper and kept it in his pocket before leaving her room.

At café Platinum, 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Vera dropped Giselle at the café. She was so excited about meeting Nate’s mate that she nearly ran inside the café.

She looked around and found her best friend marching nervously in the room.

When Natalie’s eyes fell on Giselle, she smiled. Giselle waved her hand with a bright smile and went towards her.

They hugged each other and Natalie guided her towards their table.

“So, where is your mystery mate? I am so excited about finally meeting him! A guy can handle you! Can you believe it?” Giselle was beyond excited to meet Natalie’s mate.

When they reached the table, she felt like she had been hit by a truck. Her eyes were popping out of her sockets.

There was a handsome guy sitting on the table in a midnight black luxurious suit. He had bright golden eyes, luscious red lips, auburn colored hair and most importantly, ghostly pale white skin.

“Your mate is a vampire?” Giselle nearly shouted at her.

“Uh, a vampire prince to be exact”, Natalie replied with a nervous smile.

“Your mate is not only a vampire but a vampire prince?” Giselle whispered when she repeated Natalie’s words.

“Hello Ms. Swan. I am Prince Arthur Spencer, Natalie’s mate. Nice to meet you” The guy said politely, his voice was deep and intimidating.

He looked like a royal from every angle.

“Even his name sounds royal!” Giselle complained while glaring at Nate.

The guy extended his hand for a handshake but he was deep inside, he expected rejection. To his surprise, Giselle took his hand, “Please call me, Giselle. Pleasure to meet you”

“Please have a seat”, Arthur said politely.

Arthur looked at her weirdly for a second like he had seen an alien, but then plastered a smile on his face.

Natalie observed the change of expression on her mate’s face but didn’t comment.

Giselle sat opposite to him and Natalie sat next to Giselle.

“You accepted him?” Nate asked in an astonished tone.

“Do I have a choice? He is your mate! I can’t judge him! Even if he is a vampire, he is family”, Giselle said with a pout.

“Wow! Giselle! I didn’t know you were so free and accepting”, Natalie said, hugging her happily.

“I am dating my stepbrothers. What do you accept?” Giselle asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Point taken!” Nate nodded in understanding.

“Let’s be clear here, Arthur. We are acquainted here because Natalie is your mate. When I saw her smiling last night, I was sure she liked you and you must like her too. I have mates, so I know how it feels. We must never let our clan’s rivalry come between our friends and should never make Natalie choose between us”, Giselle said, everything in a serious tone.

“I agree with those terms. You seem to be quite an intelligent girl. I am impressed”, Arthur said, with a polite smile.

“You look like a gentleman too”, Giselle complimented with a smile.

“Wow! I thought you would see each other and start fighting, then I would have to use my magic to stop you both from ripping each other apart, but look at you tolerating each other quite well”, Nate said in an excited tone.

“We are not tolerating each other. We are going to be real friends”, Arthur said confidently.

“I agree. I can’t be fake when it comes to friendship and I really like Arthur for you. You want an old school dominating male to handle you”, Giselle replied while nodding in agreement.

“Thank you, both” Nate said happily.

“You look like you are twenty-eight. What’s your real age, Arthur?” Giselle asked curiously while turning towards Arthur.

“Um, I turned 1032 this year.”
