“Do you still want to know why he is so cold? Why can’t he c*m even after being super rough?” He asked in a curious tone.

I tried to speak but not a single word came out of my mouth. I felt like I was being choked. I just hummed in reply.

“They burned his private parts!” He spoke in the lowest voice possible.

“WHAT?” It came out more like a scream.

“You heard right, sis. They burned it. They tried to destroy it! They were worse than monsters! Hence, Riven has to go an extra mile just to feel the pleasure. He has to be rough just to feel normal bliss!” Caleb replied in a serious voice.

“WHAT?” I screamed once more, but more loudly this time.

“Yeah, pitiful but true. They were about to destroy it completely, followed by his other organs. In short, they wanted to destroy his complete life, but thankfully, my father was able to track them down and save Riven on time. Otherwise, they must have killed him”, Caleb replied in a low voice.

My heart was thudding against my chest. I felt like my heart was about to explode. Riven has went through so much and I had no f*cking idea. I was cursing him for being rude and cold without knowing the actual reason behind his actions.

“I know you must be thinking. Riven was always cold and stuff, but it all happened because he tried to protect me. Even after coming back after going through all these tortures, he never complained about being kidnapped in my place. He never blamed me or anything. He is really a true gem, sister. I am sorry I couldn’t tell you the truth earlier”, Caleb said, his voice filled with regret.

I was speechless. I didn’t know what to say. The reality hit me like a truck. My heart shattered into a million pieces just thinking about how much pain Riven had to go through at such a young age. My pain was nothing compared to his.

“Sister, you there?” Caleb asked in a confused tone when I didn’t reply for a while.

“Ye..yeah. I am.. I am here” I replied calmly.

I took a deep sigh to calm my racing heart.

“Just because we are discussing Riven, I want to tell you one more thing about his personal life” he said, his voice sounded really sincere this time.

“Go ahead, I am listening, Caleb” I replied in a plain voice.

I needed time to digest the news I heard just now and he wants to bombard me with another one?

But I still can’t say no. Only Caleb was the one who was willing to speak the truth. I have no other option but to listen, no matter how painful and disturbing it is!

“You know, Riven went through a lot of failures when it comes to dating” The moment the words came out of Caleb’s mouth, I felt like glass broke behind my ears.

“What? Girls are blind here? That’s impossible! He is heavenly handsome and striking! He is an actual Greek God!” I said everything in a single breath, my tone was full of aggression.

“I understand your emotions, sis, but calm down please. Let me speak”, Caleb replied.

He nearly chuckled at my agitated response.

“Okay fine” I replied like a stubborn child.

“Whenever Riven got serious in a relationship and took a step ahead, the girls were satisfied by him, but he was never satisfied by any of them and, as you know, to be satisfied he needed to be a lot rough than a normal man or a normal werewolf, so when he trusted someone and went rougher, the girls ended up being extremely hurt and they always called a him monster or beast as they couldn’t bear the pain and..” Caleb was still talking but I couldn’t take that sh*t anymore hence I cut him off immediately.

“HOW DARE THEY? HOW THEY F*CKING DARED TO CALL MY MAN A BEAST?” I shouted in anger.

“Calm down, sis. That’s why I was not ready to tell you the truth. I expected this reaction from you”, Caleb said in a frustrated tone.

“These b*tches just called my mate a f*cking monster and you want me to calm down? Give me their names and I will kill them myself! I will rip their filthy tongues out before ripping them into pieces!!!” I shouted from the top of my lungs.

My blood was boiling. I was literally fuming with anger.

“How lovely! If you don’t want me to get to the main part, my real purpose of telling you this story, keep on planning on murdering other girls”, Caleb replied annoyedly.

“FINE! JUST SPEAK” I said, shouting, but it didn’t have any effect on Caleb as he began to speak normally.

“Every other girl called him with malicious names and was frightened of him. That’s why Riven started to f*ck random females who wanted it rough. That’s how he started to satisfy himself. All of us were very concerned about him that he would get STD if he kept on f*cking random girls, but then someone came into his life”, Caleb replied in an excited tone.

“Who?” I asked almost immediately out of curiosity.

“Erica Blossom” Caleb revealed the suspense.

“Erica Blossom? The girl Riven was in a serious relationship with?” I asked in an utter curious tone.

“Yes, how do you know? Riven never speaks about his personal matters in front of anyone”. Caleb asked in surprise, he rather sounded rather shocked.

“Well, we were playing ‘Never Have I Ever’ and somehow he ended up saying the truth” I replied with an awkward chuckle.

“Oh, I see. You are one true mate who knows how to make your mates vomit the truth”, Caleb laughed while speaking.

“Well, that I am. Now, tell me about Erica” I asked, as I was beyond curious about that girl now.

“Erica belongs to our neighboring pack, Red Diamond. She is the Beta’s daughter. Riven and Erica met at one of the peace peacekeeping parties and they were instantly attracted to each other. Even though Riven was cold, Erica was always sweet. Too sweet for my taste though”, Caleb spoke. I felt like he was going to say ‘Eww’ just now.

“Riven and Erica kept on meeting after that. Erica began to visit our pack, and train with us. Riven and Erica fell in love. For a while, they had all this lovey dovey relationship. Erica wanted to take a step ahead in their relationship and be physical with him, but Riven was afraid because of his past experiences”. Caleb continued with his narration.

“He really did love her” came out of my mouth before I could even process it and a tear fell on my cheek.

“Giselle, don’t worry. They are not together anymore. If this is hurting you, let’s stop discussing it”, Caleb spoke in a concerned voice.

“No, no! I am okay, please continue”, I replied in a low voice.

“Erica was angry and upset that Riven doesn’t love her because she is not his mate, but Riven had a completely different reason behind keeping her away. He just didn’t want to hurt her. Stefan and Kevin encouraged him to tell her the truth. That night, Riven went to her pack house to meet her and told her everything from his kidnapping to the problem he was facing”, Caleb said in a small voice, but it was like a dagger through my heart.

‘He must have trusted her a lot to tell her the truth. He didn’t tell me anything’ I felt an immense pain in my chest and I felt like I couldn’t breathe anymore.

I held my chest and more tears fell on my cheeks. I didn’t make a sound to prevent Caleb knowing that I was crying again.

“Erica cried her heart out, hugged him and accepted him as he is. They had their first night together. That was the first time Riven c*me inside someone he liked. He was really rough but Erica fought with the pain and pleasured him. For the first time in life Riven was so happy, but then...” Caleb was speaking casually and suddenly he took a long pause.
