She had been worried about how to get in contact with him again and feared not being able to see him again.

She was more than willing to be his mole and believed it would be better for Kumogakure to be ruled by Itsuki since he was so strong.

Orochimaru may be a character from the show and may have had a redemption arc or something like that, but Itsuki could care less unless Orochimaru was Orochimama...

Jokes aside Itsuki considered Orochimaru a genuine threat, a mad scientist like him was far more dangerous than a blockhead like Madara, Kaguya, and so on.

Even if Itsuki didn't do anything against Orochimaru, the latter would still come after him or his children.

Itsuki didn't want Pedomaru to scheme to take over any of his children's bodies as perfect containers.

Being strong Senjus his children would be the perfect research material for a person like Orochimaru.

And he would be damned before he took chances like that, and now that he needed Orochimaru's expertise in the matter of resurrecting his parents then it was better for Orochimaru to be his loyal minion.

It's not cruel to a person like Orochimaru who experimented on babies and children, he was already far too gone and had zero morals...
