Yuzuru stiffened a bit as she felt Itsuki tighten his hug and land a soft kiss on top of her head.

" I won't let anything happen to you...." Itsuki said with conviction as he gazed into Yuzuru's confused eyes.

" I-I .... " Yuzuru wanted to say something but her eyes widened when she felt a warm current pass through her body and her whole body felt sluggish.

Yuzuru panicked a bit but seeing his warm smile she just smiled back at him closed her eyes and drifted off into deep slumber.

Seeing Yuzuru going to sleep Itsuki smiled in relief as he ran his hands through her hair while letting her lay on his chest more comfortably.

He also decided to take a nap as it would take a while for her to wake up....

Yuzuru lay in Itsuki's embrace as she enjoyed his soothing caresses, she felt very refreshed after letting out all her emotions. All these years she had been feeling like a sword was hanging over her existence all the time.

And finally she didn't have to worry about it anymore, she didn't have to constantly worry about being erased from existence.

Her heart was pounding as she awaited his reply, she knew the chances of denial were low but still getting a verbal confirmation would put her heart at ease.

As she awaited his answer with bated breath she couldn't help but think back to the past few weeks that she had spent with him and this only solidified her resolve because she understood her feelings for him were genuine and not born out of gratitude.

As she was contemplating her feelings Yuzuru was stunned as her lips were taken by him in a passionate but gentle kiss as he kissed for what felt like a long time before letting her go with another short peck.

Yuzuru had a dazed expression on her face as she stared into his gentle eyes as he cupped her face tenderly while landing a soft kiss on her forehead before whispering in an affectionate tone.
