Jiang Sifan brought Wen Wan to the mall.

This semester, Wen Wan was always either in class or on her way to her part-time job, so she rarely went out shopping.

Even during military training, when she needed to buy daily necessities, she just went to the supermarket near the school.

Jiang Sifan encouraged her, "Hey, you can’t just focus on your studies and your part-time job all the time. You’re only eighteen. You should spend a little more time dressing yourself up."

After entering a clothing store, Jiang Sifan first picked out two items and tried them on. Then, he asked Wen Wan, "Do you think these two look good?"

Wen Wan nodded. "They look good."

"Great, then I’ll buy these two."

Wen Wan was a little surprised. "You’re not going to look at anything else?"

"Nope. Since you said these two look good, I’ll just get these," Jiang Sifan said. "Now, it’s time to pick out your clothes."

Wen Wan was stunned. "Mine?"

"Yep. We should both get a few outfits. After all, we’ve started our own business now. If we don’t upgrade the quality of our clothes, it’ll be hard for people to believe we’re experienced entrepreneurs." Jiang Sifan was pulling out all the stops to get Wen Wan to buy some clothes.

Jiang Sifan took one look and shook his head. "This one’s too cheap-looking. Let me pick a nice one for you."

He then picked out a dress that cost 338 yuan and said, "I think this one is nice."

Wen Wan saw the price and immediately shook her head. "It’s too expensive."

"It’s not expensive. Not at all. You have to remember, you get what you pay for. The more expensive the clothes, the better the quality, and the more seriously people will take our business venture."

Although Wen Wan felt that Jiang Sifan had a point, she was still hesitant about such an expensive dress.

Jiang Sifan then pretended to get angry. "If you keep this up, I’m just going to ignore you. I’m doing all this for our business. Otherwise, I wouldn’t even be willing to buy such expensive clothes for myself."

Wen Wan could only nod and agree.

"Great. Since you agreed, hurry up and go change. I want to see."

Jiang Sifan handed the dress to Wen Wan, urging her into the fitting room.

Blushing, Wen Wan entered the fitting room.

Jiang Sifan waited outside, eagerly anticipating what Wen Wan would look like in the new dress.

The Wen Wan he knew always wore faded cotton T-shirts and light-blue school uniform pants, her hair casually tied in a low ponytail, revealing a smooth forehead and a soft jawline.

Even so, in Jiang Sifan’s eyes, Wen Wan was still an exceptionally beautiful girl.

Just as his anticipation was building, the fitting room door opened.

She stood before him in a long, white dress.

The skirt hung naturally from her slender waist, its hem falling just past her knees. When she moved, it swirled with an arc like the surface of a lake rippled by the wind.

The curves of her figure, usually hidden beneath baggy clothes, were now gently outlined. The lines of her shoulders and neck were clean and elegant, making her already fair skin seem even more radiant.

She raised a hand to gently brush aside a stray lock of hair, a shy apprehension in her eyes, the tip of her nose slightly pink.

Jiang Sifan stood frozen in place, his eyes widening in an instant.

He had never seen this side of Wen Wan. She had shed her usual plainness, and the beauty hidden deep within her was completely unleashed, yet she still retained her unique, pure aura.

His heart felt as if it had been gently struck by something, and then it began to beat uncontrollably faster. Even the tips of his ears began to burn quietly.

Jiang Sifan didn’t know what was happening to him.

But a line from the movie *A Cool Fish* suddenly came to mind.

Seeing Jiang Sifan standing there in a daze, Wen Wan blushed and asked shyly, "Class President, does it not look good?"

Jiang Sifan snapped out of it and quickly explained, "It looks good, it looks amazing! I was just... stunned!"

Hearing this, Wen Wan grew even more bashful.

Jiang Sifan gave an awkward chuckle. "Wen Wan, I think this dress is perfect for you. You look like an angel in it."

"Really?" It was the first time Wen Wan had heard such praise from Jiang Sifan, and for a moment, she felt a little happy.

"Alright, we’re buying this one then!" Jiang Sifan said, then turned to the salesperson. "Hi, we’ll take this one. Can you get us a new one that hasn’t been tried on?"

"Of course, please wait a moment."

Wen Wan looked at her reflection in the mirror. The dress was indeed a bit expensive, but since Jiang Sifan said it looked good, she decided she would just grit her teeth and buy it.

She went back into the fitting room, intending to change out of the dress and then go to the counter to pay.

But unexpectedly, when Wen Wan came out, Jiang Sifan handed her a bag with the purchase already inside.

Wen Wan was surprised. "Class President, you already paid?"
