"Wen Wan, you’re secretly working hard again," Jiang Sifan said, feigning a complaint. "Didn’t I tell you? Once I get the studio approved, we’ll hire people to do this stuff."

"It’s fine. I don’t have much to do right now anyway. I can get a head start on the books, so we aren’t overwhelmed later when we’re short-handed," Wen Wan said with a smile.

Hearing her say that, Jiang Sifan was genuinely moved. "Wen Wan, you’re just too good."

Wen Wan’s cheeks flushed slightly at his words.

She said shyly, "I... I’m really not that great."

"No, you are," Jiang Sifan insisted. "Once we get this studio application sorted, I’m definitely taking you out for a proper break. You’ve been working way too hard."

And so, after walking Wen Wan to the library, Jiang Sifan headed to the administration office to find a roster for the Dual Innovation Department.
