“So, how do you intend to cooperate with the Golden Vine Chamber of Commerce?” Wanting to establish a connection with Dahr, Simon naturally didn’t want to give up easily, but the benefits worth fighting for had to be fought for.

“The Golden Vine Chamber of Commerce will contribute ten thousand gold coins, occupying ten percent of the new guild’s shares, and will be responsible for sourcing raw materials and selling the products,” William replied.

“Ten percent? Isn’t that a bit too little? After all, it seems like most of the work will require the efforts of the Golden Vine Chamber of Commerce.” Baron Simon smiled lightly, indicating his reluctance to compromise.

“Not at all. Master Dahr himself will take fifty percent of the shares, and each of us—Bernie, Mora, and myself—will take ten percent. This is non-negotiable. The Golden Vine Chamber of Commerce will take ten percent, and I also intend to involve the Canlight United Chamber of Commerce for the remaining ten percent,” William stated firmly.

William didn’t back down, not only leveraging Dahr’s prestigious name but also bringing up the Canlight United Chamber of Commerce, implying that there were other options available.

Baron Simon furrowed his brow at this unexpected mention of the Canlight United Chamber of Commerce. Tentatively, he said, “You’ve also contacted the Canlight United Chamber of Commerce? As far as I know, it’s quite difficult to collaborate with them.”

Baron Simon halted his words abruptly as he noticed a golden card suddenly appear in William’s hand. With his sharp eyesight, he immediately recognized it as a diamond VIP card from the Canlight United Chamber of Commerce.

Mora didn’t say much, but the determination and excitement in his eyes revealed his inner fervor.

After being stifled at home for so long, how could he not seize such an opportunity to showcase his abilities?

Once seated in the carriage, Mora spoke up.

“Before coming here, Bernie talked to me, and I think he has a point.”

“We don’t need to hold so much stock. Five percent is enough.”

“Originally, the ‘Self-Recharging’ rune was your invention, and the subsequent plans were all arranged by you. Neither Bernie nor I contributed much. Taking fifteen percent each doesn’t seem appropriate.”

“You can bring Bernie and me along and still have five percent of the shares. Bernie and I are both satisfied with that, and we won’t feel like we’re taking advantage of you too much.”

Looking at Mora’s sincere and resolute expression, William reluctantly shook his head and said, “Alright, if that’s what you both want.”

“Let’s work hard, and let your father see how capable you are. You’re no worse than your older brother.”

“Yeah!”

Mora nodded heavily, determined in his heart.

Simon stood by the window, watching as William and Mora rode away in the carriage, his gaze filled with unknown thoughts.

“Father, why did you agree? This is a rare opportunity to establish a relationship with Master Dahr, and I think their product has great potential!” Mora’s elder brother, John, stood behind Simon, sounding somewhat discontented and complaining.

Simon didn’t turn around, still standing by the window, and said, “Why? Do you think you can handle it?”

John didn’t notice the change in his father’s tone and continued, “Of course, if you insist, I think that William would directly cooperate with the Chamber of Commerce.”

“Is that what you really think?”

Simon turned around, his face devoid of the earlier gentleness, appearing somewhat disappointed.

John also noticed his father’s serious expression and lowered his head, not daring to continue complaining.

“Your vision is still too narrow.”

“Earning money has never been the primary goal of the Chamber of Commerce. Do you understand?”
