Chapter 106: The First Magic Workshop

While Young William was still in the underground research room,

On the second floor of the mansion, in Joyce’s bedroom.

Apollo Stephens, who had just left the basement, appeared directly in the room and sat down on a nearby armchair.

Next to him was the butler, Joyce, who was pouring a glass of shimmering green wine and placing it in front of Apollo.

Apollo glanced at Joyce’s gray temples and said with a smirk:

“You’re still very young, why make yourself look so old?”

“Why pretend to be young like this old man?”

Joyce didn’t mind; his appearance had been intentionally altered. Otherwise, it wouldn’t make sense for someone who had been in the mansion for over a decade as an “ordinary person” to still look young.

“So you used that favor just for your deceased older brother, Brandon?”

“I reminded you, last time you helped me at the risk of your life, I’m almost embarrassed by how easy it was for me to repay you.”

Apollo smiled; the relationship between these two legendary powerhouses seemed good.

“It’s not about worth; I feel it’s worth it.”

Joyce didn’t care about these things, saying:

“If you feel embarrassed, just put in more effort.”

“Sure, you can rest assured that Young William has quite a talent.”

Apollo took a sip of the green light-glowing wine and asked in surprise:

“This is brewed from the sap of the Life Tree of the elves. Where did you get such a good thing?”

In front of friends of the same level, both men relaxed a lot.

“I got it using Shadow Incarnation. I’ve been in Canlight City all this time, and you know it.”

“Your Shadow Incarnation is really useful. Next time, I’ll study and make one too.”

The next day, at the Fis Royal Magic Academy.

William woke up early. Before heading to the First Magic Workshop, he first went to the administration building of the academy.

Yesterday, when his teacher left, he left behind a white card. William checked it and found it was his identity information card. He roughly understood what the dean meant.

He knocked lightly on the door and, upon receiving a “come in” reply, pushed open the door and walked in.

Inside, he saw the academy’s steward, Dalton Borges, sitting behind a large desk, seemingly always busy.

After leaving Dalton’s office, William hurried to the location of the First Magic Workshop.

As for Dalton, William speculated that Stephens had him return the identity information card to inform the kingdom about this news.

“I’ve taken William as my disciple. Be cautious, all of you!” Of course, this was good news for him. William was naturally willing to take the initiative to confirm his reliance on the Flame of Judgement.

But now, the most important thing was to go to his teacher and receive instruction. He wondered how the legendary mage would teach his disciple; hopefully, it wouldn’t just be a sudden enlightenment.

Before arriving at the First Magic Workshop, unlike other magic workshops, the exterior of the First Magic Workshop looked more like a standard mage tower, its overall red color seemingly matching the title “Flame of Judgement.”

As William approached the workshop, the door opened with a resounding noise, and a pleasant female voice sounded.

“Respected William Cain, welcome to the First Magic Workshop. Please come in!”

William nodded and walked towards the workshop.

The artificial intelligence of the First Magic Workshop seemed much more advanced than that of the Fifth Magic Workshop. Its tone was not as cold, as if a gentle and beautiful girl was really speaking to him.

Entering the workshop, William’s eyes were greeted with various peculiar decorations. They seemed to be the dean’s collection: dragon teeth, dragon bones, various exotic crystals and minerals, special magical items, and even several unknown plants with ferocious appearances lined the right wall.

William only glanced briefly before losing interest.

These things were all treasures of the legendary mage, undoubtedly precious, but if he touched them casually, he wouldn’t even know how he’d die.

“Where’s the teacher?”

“Apollo Stephens is waiting for you on the third floor.”

William nodded and headed upstairs via the staircase.

Arriving on the third floor, he saw Apollo Stephens, who appeared young, leaning on the sofa, writing something on a magic book in his hand.

When Apollo saw William approaching, he pointed to the sofa opposite and motioned for him to sit down. With a wave of his hand, the small table in front of them was filled with steaming red tea and exquisite desserts.
