’Should I kill these two monkeys?’

Glancing at the two unconscious Ape Race experts at his feet, Qin Feng pushed the thought aside.

This was not the time to risk the greater prize for a minor victory.

He had to be patient for now.

Qin Feng strode toward the Spiritual Light Cave.

Suddenly! Several gusts of violent energy, like venomous vipers, shot out from the Spiritual Light Cave.

’A sneak attack!’

Qin Feng realized the commotion outside must have alerted the Ape Race experts inside the Spiritual Light Cave.

’So I’ve been discovered. My only option is to force my way in!’

In a flash, Qin Feng made his decision and drew the Beiming Divine Water Sword.

A clear, cold sword light erupted like a tidal wave.

Qin Feng put his full power into the strike. As his sword cut through the air, it sliced through the darkness, severing several shadowy figures.

They were vines, each as thick as an infant’s arm!

At the other end of the vines was a panicked Cyan Wood Ape. It was the one controlling the vines in an attempt to ambush Qin Feng.

The blade’s light struck the Cyan Wood Ape at its waist with unstoppable force, slicing the creature in two.

Blood splattered everywhere!

SCREECH! A few panicked cries echoed from within the cave.

Inside the cave, some of the brewing monkeys were startled awake. They stared in panic at the intruder who was swaggering through the entrance.

Amidst their panic, the monkeys exchanged a look. A flash of cold ferocity appeared in their bestial eyes as they suddenly let out a series of piercing shrieks.

In a flash, dark figures appeared ten paces from Qin Feng, sending several violent gusts of wind hurtling toward his head!

Qin Feng was momentarily surprised, but then a cold sneer formed on his lips as he unleashed his Innate Divine Power of Ocean Control.

The lunging dark figures froze mid-air.

In the next moment, an intense chill radiated from their bodies. CRACKLE! In just a few breaths, they were turned into solid blocks of ice.

THUD!

The frozen dark figures fell from mid-air, landing as solid blocks of ice.

Stepping closer, Qin Feng saw clearly that they were several Cyan Wood Apes.

Qin Feng looked up, his eyes scanning the surroundings. To his astonishment, he realized this rear mountain was actually a Jade Mountain. The surrounding cave walls were all made of high-grade green jade.

It was crystalline and lustrous, seemingly soft to the touch. The dense Spiritual Qi here had condensed into a tangible form.

’So that’s it! They use this Top-Grade Jade for the nurturing process. No wonder they can produce such a Top-Grade Spirit Wine!’ Qin Feng marveled internally. ’These monkeys are uncommonly clever.’

Evidently, these Cyan Wood Apes were the ones responsible for brewing the wine.

A flash of regret crossed Qin Feng’s eyes. If he had known these Cyan Wood Apes were the brewers, he never would have killed them so hastily.

’Hundred-Year Jade Spirit Brew, Thousand-Year Jade Spirit Brew... so much Spirit Wine? How did these monkeys amass such a hoard?’ As his eyes swept across the room, Qin Feng even spotted two urns of Six Thousand Years Jade Spirit Brew, preserved within a block of Ten Thousand Years Jade Elite.

Qin Feng gasped, his eyes shining with greed.

In a flash, he appeared before the block of Ten Thousand Years Jade Elite.

He gently broke the seal on one of the urns, and a sublimely pure, fragrant aroma instantly washed over him.

Horrified, Qin Feng frantically circulated his Mixed Element Star Technique to refine the potent aroma, while simultaneously struggling to reseal the urn of Spirit Wine.

He closed his eyes and sat cross-legged. A faint, rosy flush was visible on his face.

Half an hour later, Qin Feng opened his eyes. They were now dark and profound, like stars in the night sky. A ferocious aura surged around him, and in that moment, his senses felt extraordinarily sharp.

He could even perceive the slightest stir from dozens of yards away.

It was a clear sign that his soul had been enhanced.
