By the time Qin Feng reached the door, he only saw a dark figure, like a great bird, that had already flown several hundred yards away, vanishing from sight in the blink of an eye.

"A Water Element Divine Ability?" A flicker of vexation crossed Lû Chunyang’s eyes as he backed away. Water Element Divine Abilities were a powerful counter to Fire Power like his Sun Fire.

Qin Feng spun around, his gaze locking onto a cowering, gray-robed youth in the crowd.

This youth was one of Liu Canyang’s staunchest followers. He had been the loudest of the bunch earlier, repeatedly shouting for Qin Feng’s death.

"Go!" With the water balls orbiting around him, Qin Feng raised his head and pointed. The spheres of water shot toward the youth like a meteor shower.

Seeing the deluge of water balls hurtling toward them, the other youths were horrified. They leaped away like startled birds, scattering in every direction.

Inside the Refining Spirit Hall, only two corpses remained where they had fallen.

Thin streams of blood, not yet dried, trickled from the corpses. Gradually, a small rivulet of red flowed toward the Stone Man beneath the Cyan Dragon Claw, staining the stone.

Abruptly, a red light shot out from the Stone Man’s eyes and into the unblinking eyes of Zhao Mingcheng’s corpse.

A bizarre red light enveloped Zhao Mingcheng’s body. As the light spread, the wound on his chest healed at a visible rate. Suddenly, one of his cold fingers twitched. His once dull eyes, which had been clouded with Death Qi, abruptly sparked with life.
