"Just watch closely, my little spy. You should look forward to the show. It’s going to be an exquisite collapse."

"Mmm, Master is so mysterious," she playfully humphed, pouting her lower lip in a submissive, teasing gesture that only made her look more breath-taking.

Amused by her playful defiance, Shen Yu leaned forward and captured her lips in a deep, commanding kiss, his tongue ruthlessly exploring her mouth while his hands aggressively worked over her bouncing breasts and wide rear.

Huo Lin melted completely into his touch, whining happily into the kiss as she gripped his shoulders for support.

After a long, breathless minute, Shen Yu abruptly broke the embrace and stood up.

He looked down at her flushed, worshipful face, reaching out to deliver one final, heavy spank across her massive, red-marked ass.

"I must leave now," he commanded smoothly, adjusting the collar of his green robes.

"Do not neglect your duties."

Huo Lin rubbed her stinging cheek, a delirious, happy smile breaking across her face as she looked up at him from the couch.

"Yes, Master. Goodbye, this slave will await your return."

Shen Yu offered her a final, wicked smirk.

With a silent activation of the Phantom Void Mirage Step, the space around him rippled faintly.

In a single blink of an eye, his slender figure completely dissolved into thin air, vanishing from her sight without leaving behind a single trace of his aura.

Huo Lin sat alone in the quiet room for a moment, her fingers lightly tracing the pulsing black lotus mark on her lower abdomen.

Her heart was completely full, a deep, unshakeable sense of eternal purpose settling into her core as she prepared to unleash the Silent Whisper network to serve her true master’s grand design.

He materialized silently within the opulent, herb-scented private quarters of Bai Ruolan, finding the room empty.

Exhaustion from the mountain slaughter and the night’s carnal activities finally pulled at his steady focus.

He plopped down onto her plush, velvet sofa, leaning his head back and closing his eyes.

The ambient sound of bubbling cauldrons from the adjacent lab acted as a lullaby, and for a short while, the puppet master allowed himself a moment of stillness.

Thirty minutes later, the heavy iron-reinforced door to the alchemical chamber hissed open.

Shen Yu’s eyes snapped open instantly.

He watched as Bai Ruolan stumbled into the room, her indigo robes darkened with patches of perspiration.

She was wiping thick beads of sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand, her long blue hair was damp, sticking to her neck and forehead in messy, silken strands.

The intense heat of the high-grade hearth fire had left her skin flushed a deep, healthy pink.

When her eyes landed on the green-haired figure lounging on her sofa, a genuine, tired smile broke through her fatigue.

"Senior Brother Mo... when did you arrive?" she asked, her voice slightly raspy from breathing in alchemical fumes for hours on end.

"Just a few minutes ago," Shen Yu lied smoothly, his expression unreadable.

Ruolan let out a long, heavy sigh of relief, stretching her arms above her head in a way that made her impressive chest strain against her sweaty robes.

"Let me take a quick bath, then we’ll talk. I’ve been locked in that room for days, pushing the production limit for the Tier 3 pills."

"The stockpiles are finally full, and the logistic elders have taken over the distribution. My work is officially done, I plan on doing absolutely nothing but lazing around for the next forty-eight hours."

She began walking toward her private bathing chamber, her hips swaying with a natural, weary elegance.

Shen Yu’s gaze dropped, tracking the way her damp indigo robes clung to the curves of her ass, the fabric molded to her skin by the sweat.

Sensing his eyes on her, Ruolan paused at the door and looked back over her shoulder, a playful, knowing glint in her blue eyes.

"Don’t peek, Senior Brother Mo. I know you’re a powerhouse, but have some manners."

Shen Yu offered a faint, playful smirk.

"I am not that kind of man, Little Alchemist."

"Hmph," she teased, a small smirk of her own appearing.

"I think I’m starting to realize exactly what kind of man you are."

She stepped inside and clicked the door shut.

True to his word, Shen Yu didn’t move.

He remained seated, listening to the muffled sound of splashing water and the faint hum of her humming a tune.

He was a man of his word, after all, mostly because he knew the "view" would be much better once she was relaxed and willing.

A while later, the door creaked open, and a cloud of floral-scented steam billowed out.

Bai Ruolan emerged, looking entirely rejuvenated.

She had changed into a flowing, loose-fitting white robe made of high-quality silk.

It was a relaxing garment, thin enough to hint at the magnificent curves beneath it but modest enough for a casual chat.

She crossed the room and plopped down onto the sofa beside him, her damp hair smelling of mountain lilies and expensive soaps.

The fragrant, flowery scent instantly filled Shen Yu’s senses as she leaned back into the cushions, letting out a contented groan of relaxation.

Shen Yu looked at her fresh, just-bathed face, free of soot and sweat, and felt the weight of the coming storm.

"The board is set, Ruolan," he said softly. "Tell me... do you want to head out and take a look at the chaos we’ve created?"
