Wu Yun watched Wen Meng from the side, scanning her with his glasses. He discovered that after the events of the evening, her affection for him had already reached 90 points.

Wen Meng nodded and returned to her room. The moment she closed the door, the expression on her enchanting face flickered with uncertainty. Then, as if she had made up her mind, her body relaxed. After finding her nightgown in the bag with her change of clothes, she walked into the bathroom.

It was already eleven o’clock.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. A knock sounded on the bedroom door, followed by Wen Meng’s pleasant voice from outside.

"Junior, are you asleep? Can I come in and talk with you for a bit?"

"The door’s unlocked, Senior!"

The bedroom door opened, and a beam of light from the hallway streamed in.

"Alright, Senior. You can turn off the light in the hall," Wu Yun said, not even noticing the hoarseness in his own voice.

The light in the hallway went out. Wu Yun then heard the door close, followed by the sound of soft footsteps.

The soft mattress dipped. Wu Yun felt Wen Meng lie down on his left, very close. The delicate fragrance of her shower gel teased his nostrils as she pulled some of the light blanket over to her side.

The bedroom fell silent, the only sound being Wu Yun’s ragged breathing.

"Junior, you have a girlfriend, don’t you? When you said you didn’t have one before, you were lying to me, weren’t you?" Wen Meng asked, getting straight to the point.

Wu Yun was stunned for a moment, but then it all clicked. ’Her reaction when I got her the slippers... she must have guessed everything back then. It makes sense for her to ask this. Still, if she knew and still crawled into my bed tonight... isn’t that a little fishy?’

Wu Yun chuckled. "So you figured it out, Senior. I won’t lie to you. I have a girlfriend. In fact, I have two!"

"Two!" Wen Meng’s voice shot up a notch, and she turned in surprise to face him, propping herself up on her side.

"That’s right. One is a classmate of mine, and the other is also a senior."

Wen Meng hadn’t expected him to be a two-timer. ’Then again,’ she thought, ’for someone as rich as Wu Yun, not changing girlfriends daily already makes him a paragon of virtue among the young and wealthy.’

After a moment of silence, Wen Meng suddenly flipped over and straddled him. She leaned down, propping herself on her elbows with her eyes locked on his, her breath sweet and fragrant.

Wen Meng let out a soft hum. "Mmm... I’ve thought it through. I really like you, Junior. To me, you’re the perfect boyfriend. I won’t deny that I enjoy the finer things in life, but if I only cared about money, I would have fallen for some rich man’s financial assaults long ago."

After a short pause, she continued, "I like you, Junior, and not just because you’re rich. You’re also handsome, you can fight, and you started your own business before even getting to college. That shows not just guts, but vision."

"I wonder if you can give me the chance, Junior... to be your girlfriend here in Rongcheng?"

Having said her piece, Wen Meng stared at Wu Yun, her eyes full of undisguised charm.
