Li Qiuliang had already spotted Wu Yun and the others sitting on a bench. He nodded to a middle-aged lawyer behind him and then took a step back.

The middle-aged lawyer stepped forward, presented his business card, and said, "Hello, Officer. I am Wu Yun’s lawyer. I’m here for my client and would like to request a meeting with him."

Although he could already see Wu Yun, the middle-aged lawyer still made the formal request out of professional decorum.

As the lawyers were being briefed on the situation, Yang Shasha’s eyes shone as she stared at Wu Yun. He was no longer the hot-blooded young man from earlier at the restaurant; instead, he now radiated maturity, composure, and an indefinable aura.

Luo Heng listened to their conversation in stunned silence. He had assumed Wu Yun was just some rich kid, but it turned out he was the head of a company. As someone who was still asking his parents for money, Luo Heng felt utterly pathetic in comparison.

Just then, Wen Meng came out of the room. Wu Yun beckoned her over, took her hand, and said, "Lawyer Zhang, this is Wen Meng. She’s the one the thugs were harassing tonight."

All eyes turned to size up Wen Meng, and a look of "Ah, that explains it" appeared on their faces.
