The early morning sunlight streamed through the window, crashing directly into Denzel’s eyes.

"I barely slept at all."

Maria smiled warmly.

As she said that, she leaned forward and kissed him once more.

Finally, she pulled back and looked at him lovingly.

"Stay in bed, please, my king"

"Let me get you something to eat."

"I already have something I want to eat right here."

Maria chuckled lightly.

She shook her head with a smile.

Denzel snorted and smiled at her.

Maria smiled back at him.

Then she leaned in and gave him one last soft kiss before pulling away.

"Alright"

"Just give me a minute. I’ll be right back."

With that, she got out of bed and began walking toward the door.

As she moved away, Denzel watched her leave.

And then she smiled.

She placed what was left of her robe down properly on her exposed body, then stepped back and walked out of the room. The door closed softly behind her.

For a moment, she remained just outside, and faint chuckles escaped her as she seemed amused by her own thoughts.

Inside the room, Denzel watched her leave.

’Yeah she’s definitely a member of my harem now’

’Hehe, now all that’s left is Sophia.’

But as his gaze drifted sideways, something suddenly caught his attention.

His expression changed instantly.

Not something he had expected.

Not something related to her at all.

It was the system notification.

He stared at it for a moment before reading it aloud in utter awe.
